Photos: Genevieve Nnaji Blushes Hard At A Night Out With Mystery Boyfriend?
her new Etisalat Deal but that look she's giving suggests much
more.
Seems like a night out with a loved one, someone she's
uncontrollably falling for...But who could this be?And no,
Genevieve gave nothing away as there was no caption in any
of her photos.
See more suggestive poses below.
Nobody goes on a boat cruise at night to have glasses of wine
alone...Genevieve we are watching you closely...
An Article On Genevieve Nnaji’s Etisalat Endorsement/ DBanj’s Parole – Charles Novia
latest endorsement as his focal point.
A couple of days ago, there was an excited buzz on social
media in Nigeria that Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji,
has been signed on as one of the new Brand Ambassadors
of Etisalat, a telecommunications company operating in
Nigeria and sundry parts of the globe. Amid the
congratulatory messages from her fans sent to her on some
sites, a few cynical remarks caught my attention. (By the
way, congrats Ms Nnaji!)
One commentator simply known as 'Da Trut' wrote in one
of the comments section in a blog which I reproduce here;
'Congrats, Genevieve. But wait o…your Boyfriend, D'Banj
is a Glo Ambassador and now you are an Etisalat Ambassador. It has been reported that two of you will marry this year after being live-in-lovers and dating steadily for a while now. Since both of you have not denied this piece of news, I assume that it is true. With this new deal of yours, does it mean you cannot attend any show sponsored by Globacom in which D'Banj is a headliner despite him being your BF and you being expected to support your beau? And same goes for him too in any of your Etisalat sponsored shows? Won't your relationship be strained by this?
However nosy this comment may seem to some people,
there is an underlying fact which many celebrities and of
course the general public have overlooked when it comes
to signing brand endorsements. Most of these contracts, if
not all, are watertight for the artiste. The dos and don'ts
imposed on the artistes could be argued in a civil rights
court of law! But then, most artistes are quick to sign off
the dotted lines basically because of the lump sum being
paid to them by the competing brands. Which is all well
and good too, depending on how you look at it.
And don't get me wrong. I wholly commend all the brands
cashing in on the perceived goodwill and traction many of
these celebs have and investing in their art and to a large
extent, the entertainment industry. These brands have
uplifted the creative industries through such investments
and the industry is the better for it. Really, it is.
However, a glaring reality is coming to the fore and many may laugh it off right now but it is staring at us in the face.
In 2013, many of the live events and sponsored concerts were tepid in performance value. Many of the top acts had been signed by one telecom brand or the other and since the headliners in the music industry have divided their brand
endorsements among various telcos, many could not perform for friends or business concerns where a competing telco or brand was a major or support sponsor. This was basically because of watertight caveats in the artistes contracts which forbids them from attending such shows.
Thus, most of the live concerts in 2014 in Nigeria were either lacking in major star power or just repititive in talents signed on by the brands. And the performance value of such events were basically average. Many of the brands which had campus shows suffered this fate.
In October 2013, the Nollywood Movies Awards held at the
posh Intercontinental Hotel, in Lagos. Comedian Basketmouth had been hyped as the compere of the evening, supported by Dakore Akande. I was standing at the red carpet lobby, interacting with invited guests as we had cocktails when one of the organisers, Alfred Soroh, came up to me. He whispered to me that there was a problem and it had to be solved urgently. Apparently, immediately Basketmouth came out of the lift and saw a huge backdrop with Etisalat written on it, he quickly dashed back and refused to compere the show. His reason was that he was a Glo Ambassador and could not be seen on an Etisalat sponsored show. It makes sense. When I asked the organisers if they didn't think it out before deciding on Basketmouth as the compere, they explained that Etisalat
came in just a few days to the event. Segun Arinze, a tested
and trusted hand, had to be drafted immediately to co- compere the event.
The example above is one of many others which are a usual
occurrence. My gut feeling is this; the business will grow
for the brands but the whole performance and event
industry may very well suffer for this. For example, if a
movie awards event had MTN as the major sponsor and
50% of the nominees are Glo Ambassadors, only an idiot
would need explanations on why half the nominees would
not be present at the awards even if they eventually won.
Same goes for music awards events. This cycle is becoming
predictable. And the performance value suffers for it.
But there may be those who would argue that the brands
are capable of sponsoring their own events with only their
brand ambassadors as headliners. I concur but for every
show such brands sponsor, it becomes predictable. I would
know that any MTN show would have Wizkid, KCee,
Davido, Don Jazzy and other ambassadors as performers
just as a Glo event would have MI, Bez, Lynnx,
Omawunmi, Burna Boy, D'Banj etc as performers. Truth
be told, when you watch them once, you have watched it
all. Bring them up again in another sponsored show, even
for free and many would reluctantly attend just as many
would not. Performance value.
Brand Managers reading this may well snigger at this but I
would advise that they meet with their counterparts in other
companies suffering this same problem and iron out a few
of these issues. Artistes must be free to attend other shows
of competing brands as long as they don't endorse the
sponsoring brand nor endorse their own brand in such
shows. Harmony is needed. The entertainment industry
should not be cannon fodder for the corporate wars. In
2014, we all must enhance the performance value. (By the
way, that phrase is my coinage and I think I like it.)
The artistes themselves must step up their game. There is
too much emphasis on the cars they buy or the shoes they
wear by their publicists, which is not bad by itself but it
gets overdone and sometimes come out in bad taste.
Artistes should be seen to be adding value to their lives and
the society through more of personal social responsiblity
programmes rather than personal 'I don buy am' publicity
stunts. Granted, how they spend their money is entirely
their business but the people out there don't really know
how they MAKE their money most times. And it's not from
shows or endorsements only as they are made to believe.
Story for another day. What I am saying is; how many of
these new generation artistes have impacted positively on
the moral conscience and inspirational equity of the youths?
Very few. In music, almost none. In Nollywood, just a
cosmetic impact. Story again for another day.
But I am not going to knock anyone in this write-up. I
commend the dedicated efforts we all have put over the
years to build the entertainment industry to this level. But
the level is still in a pre-foundation stage. The structures are
lacking. As we like to say all the time ' but we will get
there!'. Where 'there' is is as good your guess as mine.
And my opinion is basically, my opinion.
Entitlements: Ex-Nigeria Airways workers cry for intervention
The prayer session was held at the former office of the airline
on Bank Road in the Kano metropolis.
Adamu said the that call was necessary to save the former
employees and their families from further frustration due to
non-payment of their entitlements over 20 years.
He appealed on the Sultan of Sokoto and the President,
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), to intervene in the
matter.
He also called on the Ministry of Aviation to honour its earlier
pledge to off-set all outstanding entitlements of the former
workers.
"Even recently, three of our members died, while many are
sick and cannot even come out now,'' he said.
He said that the pensioners would embark on hunger strike if
they were not paid within the next few weeks.
It would be recalled that the former employees had on Dec.
14, 2013 staged a peaceful protest over non-payment of their
entitlements.

Expert Tips on How to Get Rid of Freckles
What are freckles?
Freckles are small brown spots that appear on the face or
arms or on the sun-exposed parts of the body. They appear
because of the cumulative UV rays exposure for a long
period of time. However, they also occur genetically and
can appear in children as well.
Are they dangerous?
Typically, appearance of freckles is perfectly normal, and
not dangerous at all. However, if you notice a freckle
changing in shape or size, then it is important to show it to
your dermatologist. He or she will check for any possible
skin malignancy (a tumor or a cancer).
How can you prevent them?
The only way to prevent freckles is to avoid getting out in
the sun. Sun rays are the biggest cause of freckles, so you
need to protect yourself from them. Avoid the sun between
the 10 AM-3 PM. And, if at all you want to go out, cover
exposed areas as much as possible and wear a sunblock
cream. Look for a sunscreen with at least SPF 30+ with
both UVA and UVB protection, and remember to apply it
every four hours. Also, apply it at least 30 minutes before
leaving your house, so that it has penetrated well.
How can you get rid of them?
Freckles are typically very resistant to treatment. But
luckily, now there are many ways to manage them. A
dermatologist will suggest you several treatments for your
freckles. Take a look at a few of them:
1. Bleaching Creams
Bleaching creams containing compunds such as alpha-
arbutin, hydroquinone, glycolic acid and tretinoin are
somewhat effective in reducing the freckles. However, their
effect is limited, so do not expect dramatic results from
these simple creams!
2. Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use higher percentage of glycolic or lactic
acid to get a better effect than bleaching creams for your
freckles. They are typically done every ten days for around
6-10 sessions, depending on your skin. Dermatologists also
recommend bleaching creams along with the peels for
improved results. Side effects are usually limited to a little
bit of redness. But, make sure you do not neglect your
sunblock with these creams.
3. Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is highly effective for removing excess
pigments, as they gently exfoliate the darkened skin layers.
This method can remove your freckles quicker than
traditional remedies.
4. Intense Pulsed Light
Intense Pulsed Light or IPL is a broad-spectrum light that
gently targets the pigments or melanin in your skin without
any side effects. You need around 10 sessions to get an
optimal result. And, as an extra benefit, your skin will look
rejuvenated, giving you a lovely natural glow.
5. Q-Switched Laser
The Q-switched laser is a newer modality that has been
proven to selectively target melanin, causing specific
destruction of only your freckles. Within 2-3 sessions, you
can get your desired results. However, after this treatment,
you may find some redness and crusting, but this usually
resolves after a few days.
It is always advised to look for precautions before the
problem actually occurs. And, remember do not step out of
your house without using a sunblock!

You have to be sexy to be a video vixen – Cinci Ezekiels
musicians. They don't sing they only interpret the songs and beats in dances that deliver the music to us more like a movie.
Cinci is A-list and one of the best in a trade fast becoming top notch. She has worked with the likes of Brandy, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, D'Banj, Psquare, Tuface Idibia, you name it. She knows her onions and makes sure we are let into her
'dancing world in this chat. Excerpts:
`
Who's Cinci; where is she coming from and where is she going?
I am Cynthia Cinci Ezekiels, a professional dancer choreographer and a video vixen. In my early 20s, an Ijaw from Bayelsa state. I am the last child of my parents. I started dancing from a very tender age, and professionally since 2004.
I have worked with all the Nigerian celebrity artistes and still working with them. I have also worked with top directors and international artistes like Brandy, Mario, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, Usher and many others. I believe in dreams and I don't let words bring me down. I see my self working with top celebrities abroad more.
At home, I have done videos with top Nigerian celebrity artistes like Tuface Idibia, D'banj, P-square, J. Martins,
Iyanya, Timaya, Terry G ,VIP of Ghana, Omawumi, May D, Samklef, Burna Boy, Olamide and so many others.
What made you choose dancing as a career instead of acting or even singing?
Dancing is an act too. What we do is interpret the song with dancing, pass a sort of message with our dancing, so,it is an
act of its own. Whenever I am dancing I imagine myself in another world, a world of peace and bliss. I have so much passion for it that it brings me joy whenever I am doing it. I can't see myself doing any other thing. This is my dream and I have followed my heart to my dream.
But don't you think you would be more popular and maybe richer as an actress, model or singer?
I choose dancing because I am blessed with it. I didn't learn how to dance, it is a talent God blessed me with, and I don't
intend to let it go. Dancing is my passion, I followed my dream and I believe it would have been a sin not to explore and put to test my God-given talent. Possibly, I might look into other aspects of entertainment later in life but for now I am having a ball with my dancing career.
What does it take to make it to be a top video vixen?
To make it as a professional dancer you have to carve out your own style; be different and evolve your own uniqueness
that sets you aside from others. This job is like a never-ending competition so you must always be on top of your game. It is
a job where you pay attention to every little detail of your life and you can't afford slipping for a minute; either in the
way you look or how you package yourself. Yes, you must be beautiful, have the right attitude. If you are not fine and
you don't have the face you can't be a vixen. To be a vixen you must be sexy and know how to move. Sometimes when we go for auditioning, regardless of the fact that you have been overworked or stressed out only three girls out of over thirty could be chosen for a job. That is how challenging this job is. And sometimes the costumes brought by the stylist might not fit the lead girl and whoever the costume fits among the major girls will take the role of the lead girl.
In the course of doing your job haven't you come up against sexual harassment?
Yes I have but most times it comes from the fans and I know how to handle that with care. But most importantly, how you
carry yourself matters a lot. You must have air about you that convey seriousness about what you want. It is always strictly
business for me, no familiarity. When I am on set, I do my business and leave as soon as I am done
But the way you girls expose vital parts of the body can be tempting
Yes it is, but it is for the cameras, not our own doing, it is what the director wants and we must deliver.
You have worked with many popular artistes, which one of them has been particularly memorable?
D' Banj, MI, Tuface Idibia, Terry G, Faze, Banky W, Davido and some others Why are you called video vixen and what
is the difference with being a choreographer?
Vixen is a video model who can move sexy and can make use of her body when she sees the camera (camera friendly) and
it doesn't matter the size of the model; fat or tin, and must play any role given to her by the director. But Choreographer can be defined as a person or an individual who merges two or more movements to make a dance routine or a choreographer
can also be defined as one who is skilled and has the ability to create and arrange movements within a large number of
individuals. I am called a vixen because I know the job, my job as a video model (vixen), I am hot, sexy, camera friendly
with cute face and hot body, and then, I can move.
Do you have to be sexy to be a successful video vixen?
Yes of course, to be a vixen you have to be extremely hot and sexy.
What are your selling points?
My face, first of all, then my complexion and my figure. My backside is not too big so I can control it according to the song or the beat . People know me particularly well for the way I use my backside to dance.

Breaking News: Armed SSS Operatives Storm El-Rufai’s Abuja Home
The operatives did not produce any arrest warrant, the former minister said. He is currently not at home but he said he would rush back home after picking his children from school.
The SSS had on Thursday invited Mr. El-Rufai, the Deputy National Secretary of the opposition All Progressives Congress, [APC] in connection with a statement credited him that there might be violence if the 2015 general elections were not free and fair.
The former minister made the comment while speaking at the Transformed to Transform, T2T Nigeria, Conference and Career Fair, a leadership and empowerment initiative for the National Youth Service Corps members in Abuja on Wednesday.
He was reported to have said the 2015 elections could be marred by riots and other forms of violence that might lead to loss of lives and properties unless the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the security agencies ensured they were free.
The former minister however refused to respond to the SSS' invitation on the ground that he had a pending suit against the agency over his detention in a hotel in Awka, Anambra State, during the governorship election in that state last November 16.
He also told the Director General of the Service, Ita Ekpeyong, that he was willing to meet with him in his home or office or that in the alternative the SSS should produce a warrant of arrest. Spokesperson of the SSS, Marylyn Ogar, declined comments when contacted on Wednesday night.
But she had earlier issued a statement Thursday warning those making provocative statements ahead of the 2015 general election to desist from such or face the full weight of the law.
Ms. Ogar said the attention of the service had been drawn to incessant provocation statements by some Nigerians threatening violence ahead of the election. She did not mention any name She urged Nigerians to remain law abiding and assist security agencies in ensuring the safety of all.

I am No. 1000 on Jonathan’s political watch list
was a political watch-list, many thought the grand old man of
Nigerian politics was hallucinating. But thanks to the former
Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir el-Rufai,
we now know that there is indeed a list.
In fact, el-Rufai says he is number seven on the list. And
also, because he has seen the list, el-Rufai knows the name of
those on the list. And most of them are of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) top guns.
Never mind that the diminutive man, with delusions of
grandeur, thinks he is so important that he should be number
seven of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's political foes.
But I suspect that such a list exists. The list is somewhere
either in the Library of the Navigator or the den of the Lion of
Bourdillon and leader of the APC.
I am miffed, and understandably so, at el-Rufai. A brief
history will suffice here. I was in Abuja when the story made
the rounds that Obasanjo gave the go-ahead to el-Rufai to roll
out the bulldozers on demolition spree.
He was said to have gone to close the COJA Games (the All
African Games) in the National Stadium in Abuja, during
which he was booed by spectators who kept chanting Ole!
Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! (Thief! Thief! Thief! Thief! Thief!)
Obasanjo was said to have maintained his cool as the
embarrassment went on, but as soon as he was through, he
was said to have asked an aide (some suspect it was the
accidental public servant), who were those disgracing him
before the African public, and by extension, the international
community. The aide was said to have fingered the residents
of Gwagwa, Idu, Karmo (slums in the Federal Capital City).
That singular comment reportedly led to the blank cheque that
was given for the demolition of those shanties and such others
in the city and its suburbs. Others caught in the demolition
saga, like former National Chairman of the Peoples
Democratic Party, Col. Ahmadu Ali, were collateral damages
and part of a grand design to whip political enemies of
Obasanjo and his favourite son, el-Rufai, into line.
It was not that the former minister did not prosecute the
restoration of the master plan of Abuja with single-
mindedness, but he added needless wickedness with a high
dose of diarrheic garrulity, as he hurled insults at anyone who
questioned him. His co-traveller and Lagos Governor, Raji
Fasola, did much more than el-Rufai, but he managed not to
elicit the kind of pathological hatred that is the lot of el-Rufai.
And to think that the same man, who sent a lot of Igbo men
back home, went there a short while ago to attempt to monitor
the Anambra governorship elections! Was he hoping to be
attacked so he could point a finger of guilt at Abuja?
Perhaps, what has drawn my ire so much about this man who
claims to be from Zaria, but who enjoys using the tweeter so
much that he makes derisive remarks about his prophet and
the Lord Jesus Christ, was the comment on tweeter when an
airplane he was on almost crashed and other passengers,
fearful about what was about to happen, resorted to calling
upon the names of Jesus Christ and Allah. He found their
gesture funny and said so on his tweeter page.
What manner of man is this that thinks that people should not
call on their God when in danger? This is the same man who
always sought refuge under the cover of Obasanjo whenever
he ran into trouble with his enemies, especially members of
the National Assembly. It was better for him to run to his then
political father, but it was wrong for others to run to the
owner of the heavens and the earth.
Back to the political watch-list, if any, made popular by el-
Rufai's former godfather, Obasanjo. Many have said
commentators and the presidency should concentrate on the
message in Obasanjo's letter rather than the messenger. But
what if the messenger is actually the message? I mean, what
if the message lacks credibility and the messenger throws his
weight of dubious credibility behind the message?
That is a matter for another day. el-Rufai claims that four
other prominent Nigerians like former military head of state,
General (retd) Muhammadu Buhari; former Governor of
Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu; the Rivers State
Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and Interim Chairman of the All
Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, are also on the list.
So if these prominent Nigerians, and others like Rabiu Musa
Kwankwaso (Kano), Aliyu Wammako (Sokoto), AbdulFatah
(Kwara), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Babangida Aliyu (Niger),
Bukola Saraki, Danjuma Goje, etc. are on this phantom list,
how did el-Rufai get to number seven; or was the list not in
order of political importance?
Amaechi has claimed that he is number one on the list. He
made the allegation at a rally of the APC held at the
Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on
December 28, 2013, where he formally declared for the
party. He had said: "I read the President's letter; he said
Obasanjo should prove and name those on the list. I am
number one on the list. I am number one."
So Tinubu and Buhari are not that important to occupy the top
numbers? In his tweet, el-Rufai said: "On this note, I am
going to bed. I am number 7 on the GEJ (Goodluck Ebele
Jonathan) snipers' list; so I will only worry when GMB
(General Muhammadu Buhari), Asiwaju, Amaechi, Akande,
etc., are killed."
Now I am a little confused; are we talking about a political
watch-list or a sniper's list? Where is Obasanjo to iron out
the differences? This is because as I was preparing to doze
off last night, I saw a list, and I was number 1000 on the list,
marked political watch-list (it could be sniper's list); I am
however sure that before they get to me, if the targets are to
be hit in descending order, I would have flown to Russia for
political asylum. May be Putin will give me a room next door
to Edward Snowden.

the busty blonde declined to provide an answer, merely
stating:
'There is a reason I am labeled 'The Most Expensive Body
On Earth'. She says that her sex change from male to female,
was the most painful procedure she's had done.
'It didn't hurt when I got it done at the hospital,' she
recounted. 'But they give you a dilator as part of the healing
process, which you have to keep in for extended periods of
time to stretch the vaginal opening. It felt like a knife. It was
the most painful thing I had ever experienced.'
'I really associate glamor with being happy. If you put on
high heels and lipstick or get a new outfit, you feel great'.
She has since appeared in fashion magazines, including
French Playboy and Vogue, and scored cameos in music
videos for artists including Elton John, The Dandy Warhols,
and Grace Jones.
When it comes to fashion, Ms Lepore says she likes tight-
fitting clothing that shows off her 'tiny waist.' And on the
beauty front, she says she always does her hair and make-up
herself because she's very particular about her look.
'It's a celebration of loving yourself, and the whole ritual of it
is so great.'
