Fresh troubles for facebook
'our' permission, and subscribers around the world are not happy about this! What is now raising eyebrows is a recent publication of a study for which the company manipulated the News Feeds of nearly 700,000 subscribers.
The study concluded that negative messages on social networks make people sad, and positive ones make them happy. Facebook also discovered that those feelings can spread through a social network to third parties.
But how exactly does one measure 'feelings?' International media gathered that'Nearly 690,000 subscribers to the English-language version of the social network were selected randomly as guinea pigs without their knowledge, and divided into two groups. One group had some negative posts omitted from their News Feeds, while the other had some positive posts cut out.'
The experiments were conducted between January 11 and 18 in 2012.
Led by Adam Kramer of Facebook's Core Data Science team, which was heavily involved in the research, the study was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, or PNAS.
The researchers, in response to the outcry, which in turn have been criticized as being dismissive of the issues raised. The experiment "manipulated the extent to which people were exposed to emotional expressions in their News Feed," the published paper statescontended that no text was seen by the researchers and that the project therefore was compliant with Facebook's Data Use Policy, to which all users must agree as a prerequisite to creating a Facebook account. Agreement to the policy constitutes informed consent for the research, they argued.
Acadamy Awards sue family for selling Oscar statuette
The Hollywood Reporter says the suit was filed on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in a Los Angeles Superior Court.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, organizers of the awards, allege that the Wrights gave Briarbrook Auctions the permission to sell the statue for N13m. This, they say violates the academy's bylaws which prohibits its winners from selling the statues without first offering the Academy a right of first refusal.
Wright won the Oscar in 1942 for his work on color and art direction for the musical My Gal Sal which starred Rita Hayworth.

What my fans don’t know about me — Tamara Eteimo
The actress who cannot understand why most actresses expose their body all in the name of interpreting roles, said there are certain things about her which are not known to the public.
"I can never act nude for anything. There are several ways of seducing a man in a movie without completely going nude. There are certain things people do not know about me. I am not sure that they know I used to be a very good dancer. I find solace in acting than singing, that was the reason I stopped singing. For me, once I get a script, I feel God has answered my prayers," she said.

Censors Board finally approves ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’, rates movie ’18′
Channels TV presenter Mayowa Ogundele was the first to announce the news via her Twitter page, revealing that the National Film & Video Censors Board (NFVCB) released a statement today (July 4, 2014) approving the movie for cinema release last month, June 2014.
I JUST GOT A PRESS RELEASE BY THE CENSORS BOARD SAYING @HOAYSMovie HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR JUNE 2014!!!!
— Wonder Woman (@OhluwaMayowa) July 4, 2014
According to the board's corporate Affairs representative, Caesar Kagho, the film has been approved for viewership in Nigeria and rated '18′. The movie was approved along with 76 other movies.
'All approved movies fulfilled the regulatory conditions stipulated by the NFVCB', Kagho said.
The movie which stars Hollywood stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton as well as Onyeka Onwenu, O.C Ukeje is based on the novel of the same name by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The film is a love story that follows two sisters who are caught up in the outbreak of the Nigerian Civil War.
The film's late approval is allegedly attributed to the NFVCB's worry over the storyline of the movie, believing it could incite unrest in some parts of the country.

My son inspired me into acting – Bamidele Adunke
Known for her roles in movies like "Itiju and "Mopelola," the single mother who is fondly called G-money in the movie terrain opens up on how her son inspired her decision to go into acting. She also talks about what she thinks about sex for roles that is thriving in the movie industry, amongst other issues.
My son's featuring in a movie gave me my first role in a movie. A producer wanted to feature him in a particular scene in his movie but he couldn't do it anymore. So, he saw me with him and suggested that I should try out a scene .
After I did, they were impressed that I gave acting a chance. Since then, I have not looked back as God has continued to bless me. I simply do it for the passion. Passion drives me, not fame, not money. If it's for the money I would have left the industry a long time ago.
My most challenging movie role was when I had to act like an imbecile .It was very challenging for me because before then, I never really saw myself bringing that character to life. I had to do it because I am a professional and I get paid for bringing characters to life. I am currently working on a new movie titled Aworan Ife, which will be released soon.
I can never star in a soft-porn movie .I cannot expose my body .I won't do it. I am a mother and I want to be perceived in a good way .I don't want a situation whereby my son and his friends will be watching a movie years from now, and they will see his mother playing a ridiculous role. I will not do that for whatever reason, for whatever amount. I am not going to do that.
What I desire!
I desire a man who is God fearing, open-minded and one who can hear me out, love and cherish me and my children. Whenever I am playing a romantic role, I always separate my emotions from the role I am playing at that point in time .I don't have feelings for the person in question, it's just a role I have to play at that moment. I do it according to what is in the script, no emotional feeling whatsoever.
Stardom has cost me my privacy. I can no longer do those things I usually do in the past, like buying roasted plantain .If I do that now, it will become news.
If I am not in the public eye, I won't even be noticed.
Being heartbroken!
Yes, I have been heartbroken and It's not something I like to remember. But I have a cute son from the shattered relationship which consoled me from all the pain I went through. My greatest fear? that would be losing someone very dear to me.I don't have a celebrity crush here in Nigeria, but there is an Indian actor I have a huge crush on. He is Shahrukh Khan. He is really cute and good at what he does. The only person I am still looking forward to being paired with in a movie is Odunlade Adekola. What I love about him is his line delivery and the way he interprets roles.
The last time I cried!
The last time I cried was when my son was being circumicised. I think that was the last time I cried because I felt the pain. I felt like bearing the pain on his behalf. Though he was a baby then, I was really moved by his tears. Getting married is not a function of doing it early or late, it's about doing it right. It's about doing it at the time you and your partner will be happy with each other.
Sexiest part of my body
My sexiest asset is my lips .A lot of people compliement my lips, saying I have sexy lips. I have heard about the demand for sex before one gets a role, but I have not experienced it. Having sex with someone is a thing of choice. So, if a producer wants to sleep with you in order to give you a movie role, it's up to you. At the end of the day, you might not even star in the movie. I have not been a victim of that.
Sexy woman
My definition of a sexy woman is how a woman carries herself in the public eye. Sexiness is not about showing off your laps or boobs, It's more about showing off your brilliance and your inner beauty. Marriage is still in my plans, I haven't ruled it out. For me, it's about looking out for the right qualities.

Ijaw rejects confab recommendation on creation of additional 18 states
Spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, Comrade Eric Omare, in a statement issued in Yenagoa said the Ijaw being the fourth largest ethnic nationality was deliberately left out in the proposed state creation exercise in furtherance of its marginalization by the Nigerian state.
The IYC said though the Ijaw ethnic nationality made a request for the creation of two additional states to wit: Toru-Ebe State from the present Delta, Edo and Ondo States and Oil Rivers State from the present Rivers and Akwa Ibom States, the conference committee on Political Restructuring and Forms of Government recommended creation of additional 18 states across the country without considering the Ijaw requests.
Omare said, "It is totally unacceptable for the Conference to recommend the creation of additional 18 states without considering the requests of the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality which is Nigeria's 4th largest tribe.
"The conference recommendations are geared towards empowering some ethnic nationalities to have more political control to the detriment of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and in total disregard to the political marginalisation and oppression of the Ijaws of Delta, Edo and Ondo states who requested for the creation of Toru-Ebe State and the Ijaw of Rivers and Akwa Ibom states who requested for the creation of Oil Rivers State.
"It is on record that the Ijaw were the first to demand for a region of their own even before the Nigerian independence in 1960.
"At that time there were only three regions in Nigeria which today has increased to 36 states and if Confab recommendations are implemented, they would now be 54 to 55 states out of which the North would have 28 states; Yoruba: 9 states; Ibos: 9 states, with additional two to three in south-south, but Ijaw that is the fourth largest tribe that requested for a region of their own even before independence and their leader Major Isaac Boro declared a 12 Day Republic partly because of state creation would have only one state: Bayelsa State.
The IYC would not and will never allow Ijaw resources to be exploited to fund and develop other states to the detriment of the Ijaws. And without creation of Toru-Ebe and Oil Rivers States to liberate the politically oppressed Ijaw, the Ijaw people would have no other option than to reconsider their position in Nigeria.
"In the coming days, Ijaw Youth leaders would meet to take a position especially to consider the role of Ijaw delegates at the ongoing National Confab, who have been docile without an agenda."

UK Rapper Tinie Tempah says his 3rd album will be his last
According to The Sun newspaper, he said: 'This is a Spotify/iTunes/shuffle generation.'
'I don't think people really listen to albums completely from track one to 12.'
'People now curate their own playlists so I think it's clever to beat them to it and say, 'Here it is, done for you.'
'A third album will emerge some time but I think another after that is uncertain.'
Tinie Tempah who last released 'Demonstration' in 2013, wants to release a series of EPs for fans and claims the rise of celebrity producers and DJs is killing the careers of singers.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Producers are the new rock stars but they aren't the artists. It's killing the opportunity for any real solid artists to have well-rounded careers.'
'The charts are so producer-driven these days. Even though there's a vocal on the song, it's all about the beat and who made it.'
The 26-year-old star, who is performing at Wireless Festival in London and Birmingham this weekend, thinks there isn't many 'album level artists emerging' because it's all about tracks.
He said: 'For example, Jess Glynne is an amazing new singer and I hope people don't ignore her solo stuff just because it's not with Clean Bandit.'

Mother Stabs Teacher To Death In Front Of Pupils
After what Education Minister Benoit Hamon described as an "appalling" crime, the 47-year-old assailant fled to her home but was quickly detained by police.
The attack on the 34-year-old teacher took place around 9 am (0700 GMT) as classes began on the last day of term at Albi's Edouard Herriot primary school, which is attended by 284 students aged from three to 11.
Officials said the mother showed up in the classroom with a knife and stabbed the teacher, Fabienne Terral-Calmes, a mother of two young girls, in front of her horrified pupils.
The teacher died at the scene while being treated by emergency services.
The assailant's young daughter had been enrolled at the school for about a month-and-a-half, officials said, but it was unclear if the girl was in the classroom at the time of the stabbing.
"This is an appalling act, a murder, a murder of a teacher in her classroom in front of her students, by a woman who… seems to suffer from significant psychiatric problems," Hamon said after arriving in Albi.
"I want to pay hommage to the memory of Fabienne Terral-Calmes. She was 34 years old, a school teacher and mother to two little girls, Romane and Adele," Hamon said.
"They have lost their mother and the national education system has lost a wonderful teacher."
The head of the local parents' association, Sandrine Soliman, said she had spoken to the school and been told "there was no particular problem between the teacher and this woman."
- Better protection for schools -
Touring the school, Hamon said more needed to be done to protect institutions and teachers.
"This was an isolated act of course but… we must work to ensure that in the future schools are better protected," he said.
President Francois Hollande offered the government's full support to those involved.
"All state services will be mobilised to take care of these children and the staff who witnessed this awful tragedy," he said in a statement.
The incident comes amid concerns in France over assaults on teachers, with a study released on Thursday saying that education workers were twice as likely to be threatened and insulted than people in other professions.
The study by the INSEE state statistics agency found that 12 percent of education workers suffered threats and verbal abuse.
Only 0.6 percent of education workers reported suffering physical attacks however.
Another study released in April said nearly half of primary school principals reported being verbally or physically abused.
Of 4,000 principals questioned in the study, 49 percent said they had suffered from harassment, threats or insults in the 2012-13 school year.
It is still extremely rare for teachers in France to be killed in connection with their work, with only four known cases in the last 30 years.
The last was in 1995, when 51-year-old English teacher Michel Antoine was beaten to death in the southwestern town of Dax by two students, one of whom had just flunked his exams.
The two were later both sentenced to 10 years in prison.
There have been more cases of simple assaults on teachers, in several cases involving parents.
In October 2012 a father was sentenced to three years in prison, with 18 months suspended, for having struck a Lyon gym teacher several times with a truncheon after entering the school gymnasium to complain of his daughter being excluded from a basketball game.

Nigerian Troops arrest 3 female undercover operatives of Boko Haram
In the aftermath of the failed suicide bombing attempt on a military facility by a female terrorist who blew herself up in Gombe recently, troops have arrested three suspected female terrorists who have been secretly recruiting ladies into the female wing of the terrorists group. The suspects, Hafsat Usman Bako, Zainab Idris and Aisha Abubakar were intercepted while travelling to Madagali from where they were to transit to the forest to reunite with their cohorts. Continue...
Investigations revealed that the suspects, led by Hafsat Bako, have the mission to recruit members into the female wing as well as conduct espionage for the group. Hafsat's link with the terrorists group had earlier been a subject of investigation in 2012, when security agents on a manhunt for one Usman Bako, her husband who was identified as a terrorist, stormed their residence in Jimeta. This resulted in the discovery of an AK 47 rifle and 2 loaded magazines. Though Usman Bako later died in an encounter with troops in Sokoto where he had relocated to continue his terrorist activities, Hafsat continued with the terror group specializing in surreptitious recruitment of members into their fold.
The arrested trio suspects were luring ladies especially widows and young girls by enticing them with male suitors who are mainly members of their terror group for marriage. Before their arrest, they were on a mission to take additional briefing from the leadership of the terror group. The trio has been operating together as members of the intelligence team of the group. Their arrest has yielded information still being verified by security agencies.Colonel ONYEMA NWACHUKWU

"We'll Be Happy To Get Our Daughters' Corpses" - Chibok Parents Ready To Storm Sambisa
The distraught parents and residents who are still mourning the loss of their children, who have been missing for close to 3 months, after they were abducted in a night raid by Boko Haram, said they are left with no other option but to storm the forest and get their girls back.
The parents who disclosed this to Leadership in Maiduguri yesterday said, they would be happy to receive the corpses of their daughters for decent burial than for them to remain in Boko Haram's captivity without any knowledge of what they are passing through.
However, the Borno State chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend Titus Pona, explained that the people have already started mobilising themselves to go in search of the girls inside Sambisa Forest as they feel the government is not doing enough to rescue the girls, but that stakeholders in the area have been pleading with them not to embark on such a deadly mission.
He added that they don't for how long they would be able to prevent them from doing so.
Pona said, "We went round to see some of the parents and their families; it was a very pathetic sight; some of them were crying and asking that they would be happy to receive the corpses of their daughters so that they can bury them and mourn them decently, than having them out there in the bush, without knowing what is happening to them."
The Presidential fact-finding committee on the abduction of the school girls in Chibok, Borno State had in June, submitted their report to President Goodluck Jonathan. Their report confirmed that the actual number of girls abducted was 276, out of which 219 are still missing as about 57 of them had escaped and had since been reunited with their family.

Eniola Badmus denies feud with Funke Akindele
Shortly after winning the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Actress recently, Badmus acknowledged Akindele's role in the success of her career and stressed that their relationship is a cordial one.
'Let me say here that the rumour that I and Funke Akindele are in a serious cold war is not true. I can never engage in a fight with her because she is a strong pillar behind me in the industry. She brought me into the industry, and I have featured in so many movies through her before my name got registered in people's minds'.
Badmus is popularly referred to as Gbogbo Bigs Girls, an alias she got for her role in the Funke Akindele produced movie, Jenifa.
Gospel rapper sues Katy Perry for jacking his song
Flame – real name Marcus T. Gray – and three other musicians have filed a lawsuit in St. Louis, Missouri against Katy Perry, accusing her of ripping off their award-winning Christian gospel track 'Joyful noise' for her hit song 'Dark horse.'
The 32-year-old rapper claims in court documents that Katy, whose parents are extremely religious, hijacked their music, tarnished it with black magic, witchcraft and paganism, and ruined their reputation in the Christian music world because of the imagery that appears in her music video, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper.
The group, who released their track five years ago, are seeking unspecified damages and want the 'Roar' singer, who is currently on her 'Prismatic World Tour' to be banned from using any form of their music immediately.
Following the success of 'Dark horse,' Katy Perry was crowned the new RIAA Gold & Platinum Program's top digital artist of all time last week, with 72 million digital singles sold.
The star co-wrote the track with singer-songwriter Sarah Hudson in her native Santa Barbara, California, and previously claimed it was inspired by the 1996 film 'The Craft' for the song, which is 'about warning a guy that if you're going to fall in love with me, make sure you're sure because if not, it's gonna be your last.'

I am dating but I will never marry - Singer Mzbel
"I am not looking forward to marriage because I do not want to feel dedicated to anyone. I want to be my own woman and infact, I am enjoying being a single parent," she told Showing in an interview last Monday.
"I have no problem being in a relationship; infact, I am currently dating but marriage is a no go area for me. I am a hard working woman with three kids and all this while, I have been doing everything on my own so I don't see the reason why I would allow myself to be pinned down all in the name of love and marriage. I want to be a free bird," she said.
In an answer to why she had reached that decision she said, "it is simple, I do not want any one to disturb mv peace. You know as soon as you get married, it's like there are some rules that you need to follow and I am not ready to abide by those rules.
"I nearly got married this year but I declined after thinking through and realising that marriage was not meant for me. I don't want to feel obliged to cook or do certain things for any man. With my current single mother status, as and when I feel like doing something, I do it and so far I love it"
Mzbel, real name, Belinda Ekua Amoah, has in the past churned out hit songs such as Run Away, Saucy Girl, Yopoo, Bonnet, Awoso Me, Ljjgoligi, San Bra, E Dey Be, Twe Ma Me Sweet, and San Bra,
Jesse Jagz missing from baby mama’s tribute video to good men
The video according to Gyang is a moving tribute to the good men in her life – a number of men were featured in the video including M.I Abaga, Ice Prince Zamani, Audu Maikori, Jason Abaga (M.I's youngest brother) but the singer's baby daddy Jesse Jagz is conspicuously missing.
Ruby has an eight-year-old daughter, Jade, for Jesse Jagz. The two met way back in Jos and the rest as they say, is history.
So why wasn't Jesse included in the video? Those in the know will tell you the Jagz Nation boss has alienated himself from his former Loopy Music-Chocolate City family ever since parting ways with the Audu Maikori-led record label in February 2013.

Genevieve Nnaji Denies calling Nollywood bland & mediocre
I never called my industry bland and mediocre. Truth or not, they were NOT MY WORDS. As a person/writer, you can "assume" what you like about my thought process but DO not project those thoughts as "quotes" by me. It's distasteful, insensitive and quite unprofessional. It's insulting to those limited few working hard to make a difference in the industry. I am a product of Nollywood and my loyalty remains unshaken.

Top 10 Richest, Biggest Musicians in 2014
The biggest year of Queen B's career comes courtesy of a massive tour. The superstar singer played 95 shows, bringing in an average $2.4 million per city, according to Pollstar. She also dropped her most innovative album. Titled simply "Beyoncé," the record hit iTunes in December with barely any publicity; the single "Drunk in Love" has already sold more than 1 million copies.
2. Dr. Dre
It was a year of superlatives for the legendary producer, thanks to Apple's $3 billion purchase of Beats, announced in May. His spoils boosted his annual income to an astronomical $620 million — not only the best year of his career and tops among the names on this year's Celeb 100, but the highest yearly earnings total of any entertainer ever evaluated by FORBES.
3. Jay Z
The mogul's $60 million total is his highest since 2010, bolstered by a diverse list of sources. There's his growing Roc Nation empire; 68 concerts in our scoring period; business ventures ranging from his 40/40 clubs to his D'Ussé cognac; and his latest album, which was certified platinum before it was released due to an agreement with Samsung to buy 1 million copies. For more on Jay Z's rise, check out Empire State of Mind.
4. Rihanna
Rihanna may be the perfect embodiment of the modern pop star. The 26-year-old Barbados native churns out radio hits like "We Found Love" and "Diamonds" and collaborates with some of the biggest names in the business like Jay Z and Eminem. But she also uses social media better than almost anyone. Her Twitter and Instagram feeds allow her to connect with her fans in a way that feels honest and unfiltered and they love her for it. Rihanna is the second most-powerful social media user on our list after Justin Bieber.
5. Katy Perry
Even with a fairly modest touring schedule this year (Perry only played 20 public gigs during our time frame), the pop star is still one of the biggest earners in her field. Perry is unafraid of the shill. She gets paid to endorse brands like CoverGirl and Pop Chips and she has her own fragrance with Coty brands called Killer Queen. Perry also earns big playing private events. What rich kid wouldn't love Perry to play her Sweet 16?
6. Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi's massive touring schedule lands the New Jersey band on our list for the 7th time. With "What About Now," the band is still selling out arenas all over the word en route to $82 million in earnings. But age may be taking a toll. Drummer Tico Torres was sidelined for part of the tour due to gallbladder surgery and Richie Sambora skipped the tour to take care of personal issues. Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi shows no signs of slowing down. His Soul Foundation branched out into housing this year with a four-story mixed-use development in Philadelphia for formerly homeless people.
7. Bruno Mars
Mars debuts on our list thanks to a busy touring schedule: the 28-year-old crooner played 118 dates during our time frame. He also managed to squeeze in a performance at the Super Bowl halftime (along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers) that earned him the title of the youngest halftime headliner ever. The performance helped propel sales of his latest album, "Unorthodox Jukebox" to double platinum. For more, check out "The Evolution of Bruno Mars."
8. Miley Cyrus
Cyrus returns to the FORBES Celebrity 100 after a four-year absence. The last time she made our list was when she was still rolling in Hannah Montana money. Now the pop singer is all grown up and courting controversy at every turn. Her twerking at the MTV Video Music Awards shocked many people who still see Cyrus as a little girl but the attention helped record sales. Her latest album "Bangerz" has been certified platinum.
9. Taylor Swift
Only 24 years old, Swift is making her fifth appearance on the FORBES Celebrity 100 with her highest earnings to date: $64 million. Swift's latest, "Red," was shut out at the Grammy Awards but the cross-over star was honored with the Pinnacle Award at the latest Country Music Association Awards for her success. The award has only been given to one other person, singer Garth Brooks. Swift also earns with endorsements for Diet Coke, Keds and CoverGirl.
10. Lady Gaga
Gaga's earnings continue to fall from her 2011 peak of $90 million Her third studio album, "Artpop," has failed to produce the same success as her prior efforts and a hip injury side lined part of her world tour. Despite those setbacks, Gaga is still one of the most influential pop stars out there and she ranks 19th on our list. Only 28, she has plenty of time to return to the top 10.
Samsung has announced it will scrap plasma TVs
It said falling demand meant it would instead focus on producing curved and ultra-high-definition (UHD) TVs.
"We remain committed to providing consumers with products that meet their need," Samsung told the CNET website.
Panasonic, Sony, Hitachi and Pioneer have also pulled out of the sector in recent years. And, according to the Tech Radar website, LG is expected to follow suit soon.
Plasma screens, which use electrically charged ionised gases, are often applauded for their brightness, deep blacks, and high frame rates, considered ideal for watching sport and films. But they tend to use more electricity and are considerably bulkier than the now more popular liquid-crystal display (LCD) and light-emitting diode (LED) TVs.
TrustedReviews website editor Evan Kypreos said: "It's not at all surprising that Samsung has dumped plasma.
"The main issue is that it's very tricky to make [UHD] plasmas, and [UHD] is the future of big TVs.
While plasma is a lot better than LED/LCD TVs in terms of image quality, such as contrast ratio, and motion handling, it has a few drawbacks.
"Plasma TVs can't be made a thin as LEDs, for example. People like stylish tellies."
With the introduction of increasingly advanced organic LED TVs, which arguably have better black levels, brightness and colour gamut than plasmas, there was little reason to continue manufacturing plasma screens, Mr Kypreos said.
"Home-cinema connoisseurs will always have a soft spot for plasmas, but they have simply been technologically superseded," he said.
Panasonic, the Japanese electronics company, has already stopped production of plasma TV screens in 2014, according to reports.

"A woman I brushed up & sent to school dumped me after 8 years"- Yemi Sax
"Of course I have had a long relationship of like eight years that didn't even work out. You know after eight years I was heartbroken. A woman I gave my all to decided to mess the privilege and brought my heart to great sorrow. It is not about being a star really, my wife that I married right now had sworn with her life that she world never marry an entertainer but man proposes and God disposes, even she knew that it is by the grace of God that it all happened. Our ways at times are not His ways. It is what God wants because she is a Corporate person, she is in the corporate world. So, she doesn't even have the time to go out and start dating an entertainer but God called me her husband and she my wife. I give all thanks to God for His benevolence."
On if she left because she was more educated than him...He said
I think at first, everything was rosy but you know you can't pretend for long. She was just there pretending I think it was because of the things she was gaining from me and you know you can't pretend for long because character is like a flame it will always come out eventually. So, it got to a time that her real personality manifested and that was when the relationship came to an end.
So, you didn't think it was as a result of personality and educational difference?
Nooo, not at all; she is even somebody I brought up. She is somebody I brushed up, I sent her to school. So, it is not about being more educated than me or not, you understand what I mean. I did everything to make her a success but she chose otherwise.
So, what did that episode teach you about life?
I think it is a great lesson; I will advise people not to expect too much from a fellow human. That is the way you can live long, that is the way you can enjoy life; expect the worst from others. So, that is my advice to people. It is my guiding philosophy as well.
I don't think it is a good thing to put your trust in people. Instead, put your trust in God who never disappoints.

Shocking: Abducted Chibok girls are being raped and shot on camera - Senator Zanna
Sahara TV: A lot of people are worried, after 70 days, how are they feeding the girls, how is the health of the girls. Do we know anything about that?
Senator Zanna:
Actually the information I'm getting, some of them are very disturbing. Although I don't want to mention but they are just raping the girls on camera and even showing them on video, releasing it to the public.
Somebody told me that they were shown being raped, and in turn, it is the girl who was raped that came out kneeling down and begging the man to be patient. Do you know the reason why? They said when they rape them they shoot them.
Therefore the girl after being raped, she curled down to the man, kneeling down and begging him to please be patient. So disturbing. And although I didn't see the video, the person narrated to me, he said he had the video, and he was narrating to me, and look at the situation.
And then the other scenario is that the Boko Haram are now out of funds, they are not getting enough food. So they are going from one village to another, taking the little the villagers had,
and going away. In fact most of the villages are almost moved out of their villages and moved to cities or gone into the neighbouring countries. So more or less they don't have any chance of getting food. So I don't know what they're going to do, if food is not available are they going to sacrifice to give it to the girls.
And then, the other information I have, because you know the kidnap is a continuous process which they have been doing before the 200 and after the 200. So in their position, there are up to 500 or over 500 women who are being taken from the streets, on the main roads where they are traveling, or they go to the villages and collect them; all kinds of abductions.
Prophet Ajanaku’s Wife Finally Believes Her Husband Is Dead, Says He Is Set For Burial
How do you intend to move this ministry forward?
It won't be by my power or might but by the grace of God of Elijah Ajanaku, I will surely move forward. My husband is in me and both of us are in God. He made me to be close to God. Though I was a Christian by birth but I was not born-again, I didn't know whom Jesus Christ is until I came across him. He showed and took me to God. He made me love serving God and do the Will of God. I believe he is not dead like I said. I will continue to say that. Continue below...
No matter who you are if you call him a late Prophet, I will correct you immediately. No matter your position on earth, I will correct you immediately. What you call man of God is not the body but spirit. God said those that will worship me must do that in the spirit. God has nothing to do with the body. If spirit can walk without the body and the body can not do anything, my husband is alive.
Don't you think his shoes are too big for you?
I believe that since I am in my husband and he is in me and both of us are in God, everything is possible. Even after his body slept, lots of miracles have taken place. I used to say he is not around bodily. If he is dead, no miracles would have been taking place and many calamities would have befell us. The legacy that he left behind, God in his mercy will let me sustain it. If he is dead, his ministry would have been shut down.
What will you miss about him?
A lot. In terms of spiritual aspect, I believe I still enjoy his grace. I will miss him a lot. Is it the way he calls me… Nobody can use his tone, I find solace in the fact that he is a man of God. I am not mourning. There is no mourning in the Kingdom of God. That is why we are not crying.
How supportive are your husband's family?
I don't have any grudges against them.
It took you 11 months to bury him, why is it so?
Well, Ajanaku himself picked this day July 17. It is part of what I discovered in me. Its is part of his misery that made me say that he has what other men of God don't have. 7 is a perfect number. Everything about his life had something in common with 7. I know it is not a coincidence. It is divine ordination from God Almighty. Like his date of birth, his house address where we were was number 17. All the tenants in the house were 17. The land where we have the house was given to him. That was the only land that we have on the street and why is it 17. The church address is 17 too. That is how God has been handling his life.
Beyonce & Jay Z cheating rumours - Mya reacts to reports she's Jay's mistress
"Never did, never was, never will. Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that's the 'media' for you-especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage too much for nonsense."
Aregbesola’ll win by wide margin – Senator Adeyeye
He insisted that the defeat of the sitting governor as it happened in Ekiti State cannot repeat itself in Osun State "because the people of the state have already demonstrated their love for Governor Rauf Aregbesola".
Speaking at a personality programme tagged 'News point', organised by the Osun Correspondent Chapel of NUJ, in Osogbo, Senator Adeyeye said the massive turnout of people at the mega rallies held at Iwo, Ikire, Ikirun and Ibokun were clear demonstration of the support of the people to Aregbesola's second term bid. He described the INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega as a man with moral integrity who will not compromise the coming election in Osun State.
He said "I am confident that what happened in Ekiti State cannot play out in Osun State because just as people demonstrated their support for Aregbesola in 2007, they are even now more committed to him following his outstanding performance in his first term tenure of office".
Besides, he said the mega rallies held so far and subsequent ones, are designed to demonstrate the strength of the party.
On the decision to send the REC on leave following pressures from the PDP, Adeyeye said the PDP has failed to document anything Ambassador Rufus Akeju did wrong.
Adeyeye, who described the INEC Chairman, Professor Atahiru Jega as a moralist that would not like his reputation tarnished, noted that Jega should ensure a hitch free and credible election in Osun State as he promised.
The lawmaker said the commission has been improving with elections conducted in the country so far, except in some states where bad eggs in the commission had capitulated.
On the transfer of Akeju, he said that APC entertained no fear, stressing that the party will win the coming election without any stress.
He said further that the opposition parties, especially the PDP was crying wolf where there was none "because of the defeat the party will suffer in the election".
Adeyeye also stated that : '" PDP has not documented what Akeju did wrong, rather than alledging that he is a card carrying member of APC,but since he has been transferred to another state,it will not change APC's resolve to win the August 9 election in Osun State".

Jonathan’s re-election campaign amid worsening insecurity callous, insensitive – APC
In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said the message being conveyed to all Nigerians is that the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan takes priority over anything else, including the security and welfare of the citizens.
"Were this not to be so, no responsible group will choose this time, when over 200 school girls have been missing for over 80 days and the terror group Boko Haram is daily killing and maiming Nigerians, to launch a misguided re-election campaign for the President. If their daughters were among the missing school girls, will they be launching a political campaign for re-election rather than pushing for the girls' release?
"To show their contempt for decency and as if they were intent on inflicting more pain on the parents and guardians of the missing girls, they decided to position their campaign instrument, wheel-mounted electronic billboards, right at the Unity Fountain in Abuja where committed and patriotic Nigerians have been holding their own daily campaign for the safe return of the girls," it said.
APC said much as it may deny, it is clear that the Jonathan Administration, that has surpassed itself in sheer cluelessness in providing purposeful leadership to stop the daily carnage in the country and ensuring the return of the missing girls, has apparently been secretly funding different groups to campaign for it.
"First there is the Protectors of Nigerian Posterity, then the Goodluck Initiative for Transformation 2015 and now the GEJites. With the expensive newspaper, television and Social Media adverts that these nebulous groups are running, it is clear they are being financed from a bottomless war chest, to which taxpayers have been unwilling contributors.
"It is sad that a government that apparently cannot adequately fund the war on terror, a government that has lost the initiative to terrorists, a government that cannot provide jobs for its teeming army of unemployed, a government that is running Nigeria aground has suddenly found huge funds to engage in a re-election campaign that is going nowhere, touting tokenism as achievements," the party said.
It said if the Administration does not endorse the callousness and insensitivity of the groups, it should publicly dissociate itself from them and then call them to order.
Meanwhile, APC has raised the alarm that the Federal Government is losing the war on terror, which has progressively gotten worse since the abduction of the Chibok girls over 80 days ago.
"Almost on a daily basis now, these terrorists have been striking at places and times of their own choosing, even as they are becoming more emboldened to carry their terror campaign right into the heart of the nation's capital, Abuja. Innocent Nigerians are being killed and maimed in high numbers across several states
"Instead of cashing in on the global outcry that followed the abduction of the over 200 Chibok girls to galvanize national and international action, not just support, the Jonathan Administration has been chasing shadows, pointing accusing fingers at innocent groups and people; harassing the media and curtailing individual freedoms
"One misguided pro-Jonathan commentator even said the attacks are occurring in states under the control of the APC, as if Bauchi and Kaduna are APC states. We have said it before and we will repeat it here: Boko Haram is a clear and present danger to all Nigerians: Christians and Muslims; Men, women and children; The rich and the poor as well as People of all political leanings and of all ethnic groups.
"When they want to throw their bombs, they do not ask if supporters or opponents of Jonathan are there. They do not ask if supporters of PDP or APC are there. They just kill, maim and destroy indiscriminately," the party said.
It therefore reiterated its earlier call for a non-partisan approach to solving the Boko Haram crisis, an approach that will not factor in the 2015 political calculations, an approach that will not demonize a people of certain religion or ethnicity, an approach that will not divide Nigerians along primordial lines.
"This is why we have offered our hand of cooperation that has yet to be accepted by the Federal Government. This is why we have called for a National Security Summit of all stakeholders to proffer solutions to the Boko Haram crisis. This is why we have reminded the FG that Boko Haram is not just a security issue, but also a social, economic and political crisis that must be tackled holistically," APC said.
The party said the Jonathan Administration should have the humility to admit that whatever tactics it has been using against Boko Haram are not working and then reach out to all stakeholders to find a way out of the national quagmire.
"The state of emergency, which has been renewed twice, has not stemmed the tide of attacks. Chibok, where school girls were abducted, is not any more secured now as more attacks and abductions have taken place there. The terrorists, who used to strike on the outskirts of Abuja, have now taken their battle into the city. It is time for new thinking, new direction and new purpose in the fight against terror," it said.
