"The Devil did it,please forgive me" - Herbalist who buried Customs officer and daughter alive

She and Her daughter got missing on May 10 after which the family spent three weeks searching for them before eventually reporting to the po­lice on June 13.

For five days, despite all kinds of rigorous interrogations he was subjected to, Olatunji maintained that he was innocent. Not deterred by his tears and call on the almighty God to de­liver him from what he described as injustice, Head of the SARS team, Abba Kyari insisted that the suspect's confession was not coherent, hence the need for further interrogation.

On the sixth day, he cracked. Olatunji ad­mitted that he knew where the missing Angela and her daughter were and was ready to take the police to them in Ijebu Ode.

I encouraged her to continue for another two years since she has faith in me."

I thought she was joking. We have never quarrelled. I was alarmed because I suspected that other trado medical doctors that she has been visiting could have bewitched her. She came again with her daughter to collect her money and threatened me. I was frightened by the way she was talking. I knew that as a Custom officer, she has a gun. I came back to the living room and pleaded again that I will surely give her the money the next day. God heard my prayer and she calmed down. I told her to join me and pray at the backyard. She loves praying, so it was very easy to persuade her.

"I asked her to kneel down on the white cloth… She drew the child, I asked her to leave the child behind. I moved the child back. Before I could stop her she had al­ready moved the girl with her and they knelt on the mat. Then I heard her shout 'yeeee'as she fell into the deep well. She was scream­ing, and I had to move quickly and started packing sand into the well. It was getting late as at that time. I was able to pour in 50 buckets and was tired and terrified. I rushed to the mosque to pray and ask God for for­giveness. When I returned, I discovered that the girl was already on the surface of the sand. There was no way she could climb out because the well was still very deep. I had to silence her or she will tell the world what I did. I threw in heavy blocks till she became silent. I kept pouring sand till the well was filled up. The following day I called some labourers to seal off the place. I had to go to Jankara to see if I can sell the car," 

 In the cell, I met all kinds of hardened criminals who were already re­pentant. They shared their testimonies with me, and advised that the only way God can ensure that I will live again is if I confess to the crime. I realised that my days will be longer here if they were not found. I would have been released at Oko Oba police sta­tion, if not that the family insisted that the case should be transferred to SARS. I felt that since there was no witness to the crime, I will be treated as an innocent man."

He blamed evil spirits sent by his ene­mies as the ones responsible for his ordeal. "I want the family to forgive me. If you see my heart, you will understand. I couldn't even sleep in the house. This kind of thing has never happened to me before. If you ask anybody around there who I am, they will tell you. My job is to heal. It's the devil. I didn't do it with my normal mind.

She later bought a house at Agege at the price of N8million and also spent about N9 million. However, I gathered that Alhaji Olatunji, one Lizzy and one other Babatunde were involved in an oil block deal that did not turn out well. Part of the deal was that they will build a house for her at Banana Island. It was all fraud, they ended up killing her. The Angela that I knew was not desperate about having children. The only thing that happened was that the herbal doctors that she had faith in hypnotized her and she for­got her family."
She is my younger sister and was born in 1948. She is currently 66 years. We are from Abonina in Rivers State. We grew up in the North, then my mother was working at the Local Authority Hospital, Gusau. This was where they were born. After the war, we came down to Enugu till we finally returned to Rivers State.
"It was after the war that she enrolled into Customs and rose to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs. She retired in 2004, having served the nation for 35 years. She had several relationships that almost re­sulted in a marriage but never did. She had several miscarriages till I was told that she adopted a child
"As soon as we buried our mother 13 years ago, she started staying away from her siblings. I was not comfortable with her lifestyle and that caused a friction between us. In fact, I have not seen her in person again till I was called that she was missing. She started visiting different herbalists in the name of getting protection and eleva­tion while at Customs. It appears that those who are in uniformed organisations result in fetish acts in search of protection and elevation. She was even struck with an ill­ness and was brought home to Rivers State where she was finally cured," 

On the allegation that her family wanted her dead to inherit her wealth, Dr Kerry said:

 "If the family wanted her dead, why did they not kill her soon after she left the Customs in 2004. They knew that if she was close to her family, it will not be easy to ex­tort money from her. She is my blood sister and was close to me. When I heard that she was missing, I thought she had travelled out without anyone's knowledge, I never knew she was buried alive all this while.
"If he was sincere, why did he buy a property for her in his name? The so-called house is a wretched place located by the canal. It will be sold and the money shared among her niece and nephews. I do not know why Alhaji Olatunji has decided to accept the blame alone. I guess that they took an oath not to disclose one another be­cause I am very sure that there was a con­spiracy.
"I am a lecturer; I got my Ph.D in 1986. I taught in the same college of education with President Goodluck Jonathan. I do not need her property because I have a far better life than she did. I am an associate professor at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
"Our main concern is how to bury her in the shortest possible time as the cost of keeping her in a morgue has doubled. They liquidated her resources before killing her and the little girl."

Sincerely, I really don't care what all the love songs say and what the romantic movies and novels would have you believe. Falling in love is a waste of time and does no one any good. It wears off sooner than later and leaves you staring at your palms like an idiot.

I see a lot of romantically challenged people asking Cupid to shoot an arrow straight into their lover's heart. How does anyone survive an arrow in the heart and love you right back? And again, can you be sure how good a shooter Mr. Cupid is? What if he misses and shoots her straight in the eye instead? I guess that won't bother you too, isn't love supposed to be blind after all?

One of the best things about being sane is knowing never to fall in love. I wonder how "falling head over heels" can be attempted by anyone other than a mad man. Well, go ahead Mr. Lover-man and fall head over heels if you must. Break your neck in the process if you think it is a great idea. But don't just recommend it to me.

I have seen otherwise smart and self-respecting people felt and acted, ridiculously stupid and call it love. For those who have dated quite a few, is it possible to look back on your dating years without asking yourself "what was I thinking?. You are always finding pathetic excuses to call her again and again even when she doesn't call back. You are always caught in between thoughts of how to bump into her outside her house by accident. I don't know anyone who hasn't, at least once, gone crazy over love when you can't stop those compulsive phone and e-mail-checking, the constant texting, and the Facebook and twitter stalking. Or you can't stop yourself from calling her name every minute. Or shut out all those premature thoughts of what your wedding will be like, and what you'll name your children. You can't stop wondering if she has fallen in love with you on your first date. What more conviction do you need to know you are going crazy?

And ladies, don't you ever feel awkward telling yourselves, 'that the guy currently asking you out is really going to have to woo you each time, and drown you in the attention you so deserved? And that he just has to do the chasing, because you are too much to condescend to chasing after him, only for you to sneak off to the bathroom to check your phone for his messages for the umpteenth time. Yes my dear, love is a stupid thing. And more stupid is the fact that you can't stop yourself wanting to do more stupid things when you are caught in the grip of it. Too many times you must have been taken by the desire to construct the perfect Facebook status update riddled with subliminal messages and expectations, or to leave the "not sure if you got my last message" in her voicemail. What crazier behaviour can you occupy yourself with?

Today, you see a 70-year-old man and his 24-year-old wife claiming they are in "true love." So many books about "love" but if at the end of the day, so many men are going mainly for looks and so many women are going mainly for wealth, let's ask ourselves how much of that "true love" story is so true after all. They use words like first-love as an evolutionary trick to force you to think irrationally and choose the first available suitable partner. Do you know any woman who can consistently look beyond a man's wealth or a man that can consistently look beyond a woman's physical appearance? Women now only think about the wedding and not about the actual marriage. When a piece of paper is all that is binding a man and a woman together, something is terribly wrong with the whole ideology of love. So if you think you are obsessively in love, go to a therapist and fix it. And be rid of those crazy moments of wondering if she likes you, if she'll call, if calling too soon will look desperate, worrying whether or not she thought you were good in bed and if the argument you just had means it's over, or if the relationship is going nowhere and you're just wasting your time.


For the lover of love who would want to accuse me of being a psychopath, look back on your 'dating life' and see all the wasted efforts; the acts of devotion and love directed at liars and cheats, fickle women or men selling you tales of how they'll love you forever, and only mean it up till the moment you actually start to believe it. And for Mr. Love doctor who attributes love to gut feelings, if you have learned anything from dating, it's that "going with your gut" exactly that gets you in trouble. Your gut is not capable of learning. Love and romance only exist in the overactive imaginations of singers and screenwriters, so why bother?

Founder and General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Temitope Balogun Joshua has issued a condolence message to the people of South Africa who lost some nationals in the disaster that occurred in the church last week Friday.

The statement which was published on the Church's Facebook site sympathized with the families, friends and loved ones of the departed souls who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
T.B Joshua said when believers die, they are delivered out of trouble, sin and temptation of this world.

He said: "Because of Christ's death and resurrection, death to believers is not a period, it is only a comma. They do not cease to be but are only removed from one world to another. Death to a believer, therefore, is his release from the imprisonment of this world and his departure to the enjoyment of another world."

According to the prophet, those who died in the incident did not lose their lives in vain but died as martyrs of the Kingdom of God.

Joshua described as sorrowful that that people from South Africa were among the victims, saying they have been true friends the Synagogue church and partner in faith and prayer.

"This tragedy will not and must not be allowed to waiver or affect our mutual relationship and the trust that has been established over many years. We continue to pray for the Government of South Africa and its citizens, especially the relations of the affected – for nothing makes us love a person as much as praying for them. There is no doubt that the rescue operation, medical treatment for survivors and other incidental matters came at a huge expense but this is immaterial compared to the lives affected by this tragic incident," he said.

He thanked the South African president, Jacob Zuma for his compassionate leadership on the issue and also the people of South Africa for their earnest concern and prayers.

Controversial and outspoken journalist and daughter of former Oyo State Governor was allegedly beaten black and blue by her younger sister and son, alongside her mother.In a press statement released by her spokesperson  Zoie Roberts,her sister ,Ms Funke Olunloyo, the Oyo state Special Adviser to the Governor on Education accused her of trying to bring the Oyo APC government down.According to the statement

"Her mother, former Oyo state First Lady Mrs Funlayo Olunloyo was also seen kicking Kemi in the head along with her grandson and daughter Funke.
"Mrs Funlayo Olunloyo was heard cheering them on and was saying 'Good, she's dead, let her die', as Kemi lay motionless with internal head injuries.
"Kemi suffered head injuries, knee bruises, a huge cut on her toe. She is slowly recovering from the Wednesday attack with internal head injuries and thanks to her fans, colleagues and partners for all the kind wishes".

According to tweets by the publicist ,Kemi has suffered a concussion, temporary hearing loss and several body injuries and the police has not responded due to domestic nature

"My experience at the Mr. World contest was great. I felt honoured to fly the flag of my country for the whole world to see. When were in camp, they don't call me Emmanuel, they call me 'Nigeria'.

It can be painful’ – D1 speaks on artistes leaving record labels once famous

A handful of artistes became stars through Kennis Music managed by Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye but some of them have opted out of the signed agreement when they became famous.

In an interview with Yes International Magazine, Dayo D1 expressed his disappointment over this issue, he said:

'Well, it can be a bit painful at times. Sometimes, it's discouraging, I can't lie to you. It is like watching a child you've raised. He goes through college, university; then gets married, somebody takes them off you. It can be saddening at times. But you have to let them go, if you love them. Most of them show appreciation. It can be annoying when they don't appreciate and don't remember where they were coming from. But we try to play it down.

'But sometimes it can be a big deal. Fame and fortune are very difficult to manage. Somebody that didn't see N20,000 yesterday starts seeing N4 million per show, he's going to quickly forget Kenny and D-One. But we thank God we still remain relevant in what we do. And we will continue to do what we do as long as we love it,' he said.

Iggy Azalea sues former boyfriend over sex tape

Iggy Azalea has made good her threat of suing former boyfriend, Hefe Wine over the raging sex tape recording the man is threatening to release.

Iggy Azalea has filed a lawsuit against Hefe Wine, accusing him of illegally downloading the entire contents of her personal computer while they were living together in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.

The 'Fancy' hitmaker made no mention of the alleged sex tape in court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, but says the data included unreleased master recordings and she believes Wine is trying to take advantage of her success.

She is also accusing him of directly using or converting the data to create a new EP, which he announced in July will 'shock the world' upon it's release.

The blonde beauty – who is currently dating NBA star Nick Young – insists that Wine forged her signature on a legal document, giving him exclusive rights to her music and music videos.

She claims the contract was pasted together from a legit document she once signed.

Wine recently claimed Iggy indirectly gave him permission to release and market their alleged sex tape, by signing the contract and giving him the exclusive rights to 'manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise 'any' recording embodying visual images.' 

But the 'Black Widow' hitmaker – real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly – previously insisted on Twitter that the tape doesn't even exist.

Last Thursday, September 11, 2014, she tweeted: 'Obviously I've seen the news feed today and I just want to say I don't have a sex tape.' 

Iggy added: 'We should want to protect our women and I really hope that America will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights [sic].

'And on that note, I'm off to get a manicure peaaaaaaceeeeeee outttttt *drops the mic* (sic).'
