The movie maker received two awards at the
Creative Industry Awards. Afolayan was
rewarded the 'Creative Entrepreneur in Filmmaking'
award and the biggest award of the night, 'Overall
Creative Entrepreneur'.
'God just did it again. I was presented the British
Council awards for the Creative Entrepreneur in
Filmmaking and Overall Creative Enterpreneur
award of the years! Thanks you to the organizers
and you guys for your supports and prayer. Ire', he
wrote as he posted this photo he took at the venue.
The awards was held at British Council Gardens,
Ikoyi on January 25, 2014, with guests including
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the deputy British High
commissioner in Nigeria.
