Toolz, Toke Makinwa, 2 others become first Nigerians nominated for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Toolz, Toke Makinwa, Freeze and Wana Wana have
become the first Nigerians to be nominated at the Nickelodeon
Kids' Choice Awards.

The Nigerian On-Air-Personalities who work for Beat FM,
Rhythm FM, Cool FM and Inspiration FM respectively
have been nominated for 27th edition of the annual awards
which will be holding on Sunday, 2 April 2014.

The OAPs were nominated in the 'Nigerian On Air
Personality' category.

Also South Africa's disc jockey Anele Mdoda from
Highveld Stereo, 5FM's DJ Fresh and Gareth Cliff, and
Unathi Msengana from Metro FM make history as they
have also been nominated for the awards in the 'Favourite
South African Radio DJ' category.

This year's awards will be hosted by Hollywood superstar,
Mark Wahlberg and will feature top celebrities nominees
like Jennifer Lawrence, Sandra Bullock, Pharrell Williams,
Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Jackman, Dwayne Johnson, Mila
Kunis, Steve Carell, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, One Direction,
Miley Cyrus, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Justin
Timberlake, Pitbull, Bruno Mars, Johnny Depp, Robert
Downey Jr., Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Jennette McCurdy,
Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and many more.
