Story of the Film

The film centers Mia Hall. She suffers terrible accident and now is lying in Coma. Now she is going through a life changing experience. Mia must decide whether to continue life as a musician or to move in with the person she loves for a better life. A full day of coma reveals unknown facts of her life. The film tells the story of a girl in distress and on the verge of life and death decision. The central character, Mia, has the perfect family. Her boyfriend loves her. The Musical career she's in, blossoms perfectly. But soon everthing distorts as her family suffers a terrible road accident. After the accident, Mia gets into coma and all her past memories, pains and triumphs come back to her. She even peaks into the future. Now she has to decide whether she'll cling on to life and fight or simply leave the world.

The film is a complete entertainer. It will make you cry and sometimes laugh too. The attractive part of the film is the cinematography. A huge chunk of the movie will take you down to the memory lane of Mia. The portrayal of the memories is done beautifully. The film focuses on Mia's dream of becoming a successful musician. The composers for the film showed class as the background score is lovely throughout.

Cloé Mortez did wonderful job portraying Mia. As it is an emotional flick, Mia's life is shown on the silverscreen aptly. You will easily relate hers with your own life. Mortez plays cello seemlessly well. She presents Mia as a dutifull girl towards her family, her music and her Boyfriend too. Now she must pick and choose different things that are important to her.

You will have to feel about your family life while watching If I Stay. All the precious moments that you pass with your family, the sweet moments you spend with your kids and loved ones, will pass through your eyes. Sometimes we all have to make important choices. This film will only remind you of those.
