Story of the Film

It is dark time in New York as evil Shredder and his gang is taking over the politicians and the police of New York City. Things quickly turn out bad and then four brothers rise from the sewers of New York as Mutated turtles who swear to protect New York from evil. The four brothers want to discover their destiny as they are helped by fearless reporter April O'Neal and her camera-man Vern Fenwick in their quest. The film is produced by Michael Bay. There has been negative remarks about the film alright but the movie presents you with a modern take on TMNT franchise. It is unlike the previous TMNT movies and decides to go on a makeover. The action scenes of the film rock as they are well shot and the CGI is top notch. Megan Fox did a good job portraying her character although a little bit of depth surely could have done a world of good for the character.

The character of Shredder portrayed a great villain having Martial Arts skill, the cunningness he displayed and the resilience. Although a bit of attention could have been given to the character itself. The background story of the character should have been improved by the creators for better effect.

Many of us have specific mindset about TMNT and most of the viewers expected age-old storyline for the film. It seems the critics have a specific lens when watching this film and are frustrated when that expectation is not fulfilled by the movie. It is a modern take on TMNT and the story is fast paced. Although the storyline had room to be interesting but nevertheless it didn't hurt the film.
