Chicago police are searching for suspects in the murder of a teen who was shot and killed outside of a church on the South Side.
16-year-old Michael Flournoy was gunned down on East 93rd St in Chicago's Burnside neighborhood Saturday night.
Flournoy was walking down the sidewalk on his way to buy some potato chips when a gray or silver sedan pulled up. According to witnesses the people in the car exchanged words with Michael then one of them pulled out a gun and shot him in the head.
The sophomore from Simeon played high school played football, wrestling and liked school. Sources say Flournoy was not in a gang and was very much looking forward to college.
His Aunt Lolita says he was an old soul who loved to spend time with adults and was always asking questions.
Flournoy's cousin was shot and killed in the same area in 2009.
