approached by Vanguard on Wednesday over the letter that is
purportedly written by his daughter, Iyabo, to him as he
hurled invectives at the newspaper's man called him on the
phone. The exchange between Vanguard and Chief Obasanjo
ran thus:
Vanguard: Sir, we tried reaching you all through yesterday,
to no avail, over the letter written by your daughter, Iyabo, to
you.
Chief Obasanjo: You are a bloody idiot, you have published
the paper and you are now looking for me, you are an idiot,
don't call me again. When Iyabo finishes you in court….
(hangs up).
But why did Iyabo "wrote such a wicked letter" to her dad?
According to Vanguard, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo has confirmed to them that she indeed wrote the letter and she
said her father's associates and friends should take it as her
own way of getting back to him. Very sad!
She reacted against the background of mixed reactions from
elders and notable politicians on the import of the letter which
she said is her last communication with her father.
