Adele beams alongside her newly awarded MBE prize after
the Investiture ceremony held at Buckingham Palace on
Thursday (December 19) in London, England ( see Pic
Above).
The 25-year-old award winning entertainer was presented
the MBE (member of the Most Excellent Order of the
British Empire) by Prince Charles for services to music.
"It was an honour to be recognised and a very proud moment to be awarded alongside such wonderful and inspirational people. Very posh indeed," Adele said in a statement to CBS News after the ceremony.
Congratulations to Adele on the honor!
Others honored that day were Paralympians Josie Pearson
and Aled Davies, rocker P.J. Harvey and author Joan
Harris.
