Actress Genevieve Nnaji and some of her colleagues have expressed sadness over the bomb blast that occurred in Abuja on Monday, April 14, 2014.
Genevieve, Rita Dominic, Emem Isong, Omoni Oboli and few others took to different social media platforms to express their dissatisfaction at the loss of lives in such a gruesome manner.
In Nnaji's post on Instagram, she put up a picture of a burning candle with the caption, 'May the souls of our brothers and sisters..who had this mornings gift of life taken from them without mercy, rest with The Lord Almighty. Amen!'.
Oboli wrote on her Twitter, '…another sad day for the country. May God rest the souls of the departed. My heart goes out to their families and friends.'
The sad incident, which occurred at the Nyanya motor park in Abuja, has since become a trending topic on the internet.
According to Nigerian Tribune, a total of 71 have been recorded dead and 124 injured.
