After the raving success of the Mrs Carter World Tour, which lasted for close to a year, Beyonce is facing lawsuits from two angry Chicago fans.
Raquel Castellanos and Gabriella Davidson are suing the singer as a result of events that occurred during her show in Chicago on Friday, December 13, 2013, at the United Centre.
The fans, in their lawsuits, claim that they were knocked unconscious and also suffered broken bones by the stampede caused by fellow concert goers.
The defendants include the United Centre and the Concert Promoters Live Nation Entertainment. The United Centre was accused of not 'setting up any reasonable system to permit an orderly entrance'. They also claimed that after the stampede, they were helped by two female concert goers before being handed over to members of the Chicago police and the Chicago Fire Service who took them to the hospital.
The lawsuit hinted that the women are demanding for financial compensation although the specific amount has not been disclosed.
