Adams Oshiomole apologizes to ‘go and die’ widow, dashes her N2m!

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has donated two million naira (N2,000,000) to a widow he chastised while on an inspection tour of the State.

The widow, Mrs Joy Ifije, was invited to the Edo Government House by the Governor today December 2, 2013. The widow was accompanied by her son.

Ifije was also offered automatic employment by Oshiomhole.

Punch Newspaper reports that Oshiomhole had invited the widow to 'personally apologise to her over his uncomplimentary remark that generated a backlash from Nigerians on social media in the last few days'.

'I have also realised that even in anger, one could still achieve the same result that he set out to without provocative outburst. I apologise from the bottom of my heart, but sometimes you get angry when people compromise your efforts' the number one citizen of Edo State citizen is reported to have said
