About eight persons may have been killed and several others injured in heavy fighting between Fulani and Southern Kaduna indigenes in the area, a senior security operative has told SaharaReporters.
The security official said the fight occurred in a village close to Manchok area of Kaura local government.
Another source, Boman Peter, confirmed that the area is still tense with hundreds of children and women fleeing the affected community.
The cause of the attacks is still unsubstantiated but our two sources confirmed the attacks.
Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Olufemi Adenaike, could not be reached for comment.
