Waconzy says super-stardom is boring

Last November, when singer Waconzy labelled a couple of top acts (Davido, Olamide, Timaya et al) 'little kids making noisy music', only a genie could have predicted that he would eventually apologise, least of all make a song to the effect.

Well, just last week, he the released the track, 'Am sorry', saying: 'I want my industry mates and the world to know how I really felt about the unfortunate comments I made last year'.

The riot of a song, which relied heavily on auto- tune, has remorseful lyrics like, 'If I do you wrong, make you know say I'm truly sorry. Super-stardom is boring; I'm here for the money. See me as your best friend, take me as I am .'

Whether his apology will be accepted remains to be seen.
