Weeks ago, we found that Tiwa Savage's Eminado video
concept, shot and directed by Clarence Peters, wasn't original,
read it (HERE)....well, Tiwa Savage's team has responded to
the alleged copyright infringement, telling NET they were
surprised when they found out!
Speaking with Tiwa Savage's manager, Tunji 'Tee-Billz'
Balogun, he said, 'We were just as surprised as everyone else.
We never knew the concept was adopted from another video.
It's quite embarrassing for him.'
South African rapper Tumi Molekane had accused Clarence
Peters of stealing the concept of his music video 'Asinamali'
to shoot the 'Eminado' music video.
Tunji says he totally understands why the South African is
mad at the situation. 'I mean, he released his own video three
years ago and has only 80,000 views but Tiwa, under three
months, has over a million.'
