Audio: Emma Agu Exposes More Conversation Between Him & Nollywood Actor Jim Iyke

Emma is having so much fun, after leaking Jim's audio where he said he would never marry Keturah Hamilton, his ex-girlfriend, and even said would Emma advise him to do such if he was his younger brother?, Emma finally ended the long letter with JIM MUST SETTLE DOWN NOW! Very funny!!

Do you know that Emma  also leaked his interview with Keturah and how she was so in love with Jim and how she planned to manage Jim when he eventually relocates to New York to marry her coupled with taking care of her 17-year old son?  Well find all of that and more below…

When Jim told this writer in 2011, he was relocating to US to settle down with Keturah Hamilton, I asked Keturah some  hard questions:-

What  is he coming to do in US? Her reply was that Jim would attend an acting class in LA, after they get married. She was getting ready to become a US Citizen then.

Question 2- How would he survive in US? She said Jim may probably get some jobs here and there.
What is your Profession? How would you sustain him, pay your bills, take care of your 17-yr old son, while Jim is attending an acting school?

Answer:- "I have some investments here and there. My son's dad is actively involved in his life. Jim and I will get by"
keturah_hamilton Ok, as a friend, what is your profession, I have never seen any agency you modeled for? "Oh I did a couple of stuff with PDiddy, went out briefly with 50cent"

So, how did you become a super model?…"I did a commercial for Vitamin water".

Why not get a regular job, many people are accusing you of being an escort?

"I swear on my son's head that I am not a an escort or a stripper". I can't get a regular job because I was not able to finish my Secondary school . I dropped out of 9th grade when I became pregnant".

In view of these facts babes, like I used to call her, you best bet might be to follow James to Nigeria. "Oh well, if James wants me to do that, I will definitely follow him."

Sweet heart, how many years have you guys dated now? "Six years'. James never put a ring on your fingers? Did he ever tell you he will marry you? "Oh yes, he did say so several times''.

Did James introduce you to his parents? " Yes he did, I spent 5 months in Nigeria".

Did he do any traditional marriage rites with you while you were in Nigeria? " No he didn't".

At the this point let me tell you the gospel truth, James will never ever marry you.) (silence) "You know what, from now on, lets talk about ourselves. let's keep our affairs out of this"

Since I made all these remarks, Keturah Hamilton never liked my guts for telling her the truth.

Please, listen to Jim's audio, where he referred me as his senior brother and asked if I will ever support him marrying Keturah Hamilton. Keturah Hamilton started telling me Jim Iyke has been contacting her 5 months after they broke up. I never believed her.

I knew she was capable of anything. She likes publicity and gave my company every details of her day to day activities to publish in order to remain relevant. You all recall when we published a birthday party for her dog. She sent photos she took with 76 year Old Morgan Freeman and this writer asked her what in the world she was doing with the man, her reply shocked me. She never kept her relationship with him a secret and in one of my conversations with Jim, I mentioned it to him.

There are many things time will not permit me to say here, truth be known, I was a carnival backer for Jim iyke and Nadia Buari. I was thrown completely off when Keturah told me two weeks ago that Jim was coming to her place. She said Jim's sister who lives in London told her Jim was coming back to her.

I never believed her. She showed me proof which I cannot display to the public. I got in touch with Jim Iyke, he was in his own world. The last straw was when Keturah Hamilton said Jim has left Nadia Buari for her. Anyone in my shoes would pick up the phone to call since Jim Iyke made himself incommunicado. I was merely looking out for a man who said this writer is his senior brother.

When I wrote two lines about both Jim and Keturah coming back together, there was a question mark on it. Friends, fans and foes may not understand. Some might say as the bigger person, you would have let roll by.  Some people out there would say, what is my business in all this. Who made you a judge?  These twosome, got me deeply involved in this whole thing.

I have tapes where I begged to be left alone. Jim Iyke escalated the whole rift when he called me and my sons names. He kept sending emails to my P.R.O and was warned to stop, Jim sent over 7 insulting emails to me emma_aguand stopped when I instructed his emails be uploaded.

Igbos have a strong culture. We respect our elders no matter what. If your elder brother offends you, call him speak with respect, everything will be settled amicably. When you call a man you got involved into your affairs and started yelling and cursing at him, at that point, you have thrown decency into the wind.

Telling a guy you know so well started enjoying the limelight before you that he wants to get famous through you, I think it's the height of insults any artist can take from anybody.

Those who think this was a publicity stunt, are simply ignorant and out of touch with reality. I have quietly been in the news since the 80's. If you think a young man of my age is old, it shows how some Nigerians are dream killers. I am a musician with media power. In showbiz, anything goes. No age limit to fight dirty .

Showbiz is like politics, no permanent friends but permanent interest. Keturah Hamilton is mad right now because her game plans were shattered. Jim Iyke maybe licking his wounds because Keturah let the cat out of the box. I pray Nadia Buari comes back to Jim Iyke. There's no perfect relationship or union. What has happened is a teachable moment. We all live to learn.

All we are saying, Jim Iyke who is almost 39-years old, the only son of two wonderful parents, must settle down now. I hail from the heartland of Africa where we admonish the younger ones when they go astray. Life is too precious to waste. You may not know what lies ahead for you to make U -turn to spend time with a woman or a man you left in a very unceremonious manner. This is America, things happen.

18 Years After 2Pac Death Policeman Reveals His Last Words

Almost 18 years after the most renowned rapper of all times Tupac Shakur had left this world, new details of the last moments of his life surfaced online.

Former policeman Chris Carroll, who arrived at the scene where 2Pac had been shot several times, said that he pulled the bleeding rapper out of the car.

According to TMZ report, Carroll wanted to know who shot him, thus he kept asking "Who shot you?" over and over again. But the 25-year-old rap icon said only one and the last thing in response: "F*** YOU."

Already unconscious Shakur was rushed to the hospital and died 6 days later without coming to himself.

Tupac Amaru Shakur popularly referred to as 2Pac became one of the most best selling musicians and was already crowned a legend while alive. Interestingly he started as a dancer and soon became a successful solo artist.

Two pupils, three others burnt to death

Fivepersons including two pupils were yesterday roasted to death when two fuel tankers collided at Asejire area on Ibadan-Ife expressway which caught fire instantly.

Six other persons sustained varied degrees of injuries and are now receiving treatment in the hospital.

One of the dead pupils was said to be waiting for a bus along the road when the raging inferno consumed him.

Several buildings, shops, mechanic workshops and market stalls were completely razed by the fire, which emanated from the spilled content of the fallen trailer.

When our correspondent got to the scene, mangled body of the burnt public school pupil, whose identity could not be ascertained was spotted, just as men of the fire brigade service, Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC and policemen were busy managing the chaotic situation.

The accident according to eye witnesses caused traffic gridlock along the expressway as the section from Ibadan end was closed to traffic while the evacuation of the burnt vehicles was ongoing.

A victim, identified as Tajudeen Bakare, whose residence was completely burnt told newsmen at the scene of the accident that "the tankers while attempting to overtake each other on the hill hit themselves and one of them, carrying petrol spilled its contents into gutters and small stream and suddenly we heard a loud bang and there was fire everywhere".

The unit commander of the FRSC, Egbeda, Commander Abiodun Akinlade who confirmed the accident explained that "around 7.30am, we received a call that there was an accident and on coming down we discovered one of the articulated vehicles had skidded off the road and burst into flames".

According to him, "It is like they were doing competition on the highway, trying to overtake each other. I also understand that a school bus was also trying to pick a child and  the fallen tanker affected the bus and we lost two people there. We also lost two people from the articulated vehicle"

Murder in Dubai: Aisha Falode cries for justice

An unkind fate like a bull in a China shop recently attacked popular sports broadcaster and member of the Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, Aisha Folade, following the gruesome murder of her 19 year-old son , Oluwadamilola Oloruntoba, in far away Dubai, the United Arab Emirates,UAE three months ago.

The late Toba , as he was popularly called, was said to have left London where he was with his sister, for Dubai , after he gained admission to study Audio Production at the SAE Institute, sometime in October, 2013.

Aisha and late son

Aisha and late son

But four months into his studies, an incident that changed the course for the family occurred , following a telephone call received by his mother in Nigeria, at the wee hours of February 15, 2014, that her once bubbling son had fallen from the balcony of his apartment located on the 17th floor of Manchester Towers, Dubai Marina, where he lived!.

One death too many

Unfortunately, the tragic incident which no doubt, has dealt the mother of two a devastating blow, leaving her to wallow in grief, pain and sorrow, is not the first time the lives of   Nigerian students have been cut short in their prime.

In Ghana for instance, a   300 level student of Social Sciences at the University of Cape Coast , Godwin Ayogu, was murdered in cold blood on February 20, 2014, with his killers yet to be brought to book.

Record at Saturday Vanguard disposal showed that Godwin Awogbo was the fourth Nigerian student to lose his life in the space of four months in Ghana. The first death case was that of a 15 year-old Senior Secondary School Student of Ideal college, Community 5, in Tema, Master Austine Chukwuebuka Ogukwe, on October 2013.Barely one month later, two Nigerian students identified as Eddy and Charles of KNUSFORD University, Accra , died under mysterious circumstance when they went for an excursion at the Volta region.

Another Nigerian student in the northern city of Arkhangelsk , Russia, Akinola Olufemi, was reportedly stabbed to death in southern Moscow, with his ears cut off.

Again, one Kelvin Chibueze ,17, a student in London, was stabbed to death at a birthday party in East London in August 2011 by one Lerone Boye , 27.

Also in London, a 22-year-old Nigerian student, Baba femi Junaid was reportedly stabbed in the chest and in his bid to apparently rush to the nearest hospital, his car collided with a bus in Clapham Road, near Stockwell Tube station, south London, resulting in his death..

One of the most recent was that of 17-year-old Forester Samson, in far away Moscow, capital  of Russia, on March 4, 2014, by yet-to-be-identified Russian gangsters. The late Forester who   hailed from Igbekhue in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, only completed her secondary school education in 2013, before leaving for Moscow, with the hope of furthering her studies.

Unfortunately, she did not live to see her dream come true , as she was reportedly stabbed to death . As if that was not enough , the perpetrators reportedly locked her body in a room and set it ablaze.

It has almost become a routine to hear that Nigerians, particularly students, are gruesomely killed, often by citizens of their host countries. But more worrisome is the role played by the Nigeria government in ensuring that these cases are not only swept under the carpet by policemen in the countries the crime is committed but its seeming lackadaisical attitude towards ensuring that justice is done.

Twist

A case at hand is that of late Toba, whose death the Dubai Police reportedly claimed was an accident. But tell tale signs and evidence reportedly showed that it was a clear case of murder, which allegedly involved the son of a Dubai billionaire.

The Dubai Police said it had concluded its investigation and arrived at the conclusion   that on that fateful day, Toba was drunk. They told the bereaved family that information gathered from those who were with the late Toba showed that Toba was seen sitting on the railing of the balcony with his feet off the floor, and was swinging back and forward in this position, adding that he could have fallen down from the balcony railing.

But the deceased's family has described this claim as false and an attempt to shield perpetrators of the murder. These followed what were described as contradictory reports between what the police gave and those of the eye witnesses.

Senate president petitioned

In a petition to the Senate President, David Mark , Lawyer to the bereaved family, Festus Keyamo, said: " Because of the various inconsistencies in the Police report given to the family of our client, Mrs. Aisha Falode, our Head of Chambers, Mr. Festus Keyamo and another family member with Aisha Falode traveled to Dubai in the UAE on Friday, the 18th day of April, 2014 to see and hear things for themselves. Whilst in the country, the three of them met with the friends of lateToba Falode who were present in the apartment on that fateful day.

"The summary of the accounts of these friends were totally different from what the police report indicated and this has revealed a most shameful and disgraceful attempt by the authorities in Dubai to shield obvious murder suspects from the long arms of the law.

"The friends and witnesses in question volunteered written statements to us and we summarize their account as follows:

a. That sometime in December, 2013, the said Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser stormed the apartment of the deceased, Oluwadamilola Oloruntoba Falode and ordered Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans (his supposed girlfriend) out of Toba's apartment, accusing her of having an affair with Toba Falode.

b. That a fight was to have ensued from this confrontation, but for the intervention of other mutual friends. Since then, there was no love lost between Toba and Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser.

c.That in the evening of the 14th of February, 2014, Toba with his three friends went to a club in Dubai ,where they met the said Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans .

e.That again an argument started between Faisal and his supposed girlfriend and this quarrel continued till both of them left the club.

f. That the quarrel was to the effect that Faisal was still accusing her of dating Toba.

g. That shortly after the two left the club, Toba and his friends also left the club.

h. That on getting to his apartment, Toba again met Faisal and Miss Olivia who was crying in front of his door, waiting for him.

i .That Toba let them into his apartment.

j. That after they all got into the apartment, Toba, Faisal and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans entered his room "to sort things out".

k. That shortly after, the three of them exited the room and went on to the balcony of the apartment on the 17th floor (though the account of who first went to the balcony and who joined thereafter slightly varied).

l. That a serious argument with raised voices and raised hands went on at the balcony.

m. That about twenty seconds later, Faisal and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans came back into the room and announced that Toba had fallen off the railings. However, Faisal had blood spatter all over his shirt and bloody knuckles. There was also a noticeable cut on his finger.

At this point they all rushed downstairs to see Toba's dead body lying several meters away from the building (approximately twelve to fifteen meters).

n. That the position of Toba's body (which can still be verified today) was not consistent with someone dropping from the balcony but was consistent with someone that was violently pushed or thrown from the balcony.

o.That the police arrived thereafter and arrested all of them to the station.

p. That before and during the journey to the station, Faisal kept repeating to the hearing of everyone that the maximum punishment for him would be twenty-five (25) years in jail and that the other boys should not worry. Meanwhile, Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans was hysterical and did not say anything.

q.That at a point, one of them had to shut Faisal up when this repetition of "at least 25 years in jail" kept going on and on.

r..That at the station, Faisal and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans were kept away from the rest and were interviewed separately, whereas the other three were kept at a separate room and interviewed separately. Later that night, Faisal and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans were released to go home without taking the blood stained dress from Faisal. Meanwhile, the other three were charged with drinking and other sundry offences and are facing these charges in court at present"…, the petition stated in part

My son was a perfect person

Describing his son as an amiable fellow, devastated Aisha said in a tears: " Life cannot be the same again for me. May this not happen to any body, not even my enemy. I can't wipe away the sorrow. My son was a lovely boy. He was a gentle, humble, respectful, innocent and very generous boy. In fact he was a perfect boy.

All I want is not just for justice to prevail but to prevent a re-occurrence of such on another family.

This is is the best time for the Nigeria government to act by prevailing on the authorities in the UAE to re-open the investigation into the murder of my son and to bring to book Mr. Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser and Miss Olivia Melanie Richards Evans both of whom murdered him in cold blood", she stated .

Tambuwal charges UAE

In an apparent response to this call, Speaker of the House of Representatives , Alhaji Aminu  Tambuwal, Tuesday, urged authorities of the UAE to find the  killers of Toba Falode. He made the call when he received the outgoing UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, Rasheed Aldhaheri, in his office.

Unless urgent steps are taken by the Nigeria government to place a premium on the lives of Nigerians living abroad, cases of hostilities and murder of Nigerians elsewhere in the globe will no doubt continue unabated.

Boko Haram kills 43 in separate attacks

The Presidential Fact-finding Committee on the Abduction of over 200 Chibok schoolgirls is yet to visit Chibok, six days after arrival in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

The Committee led by Brig-Gen. Ibrahim Sabo, rtd, arrived the state last Sunday.

Sources told Saturday Vanguard that the committee postponed its visit to Chibok yesterday, following security reports that the road leading to the area was not safe. Chibok11
One of the major reasons why the government set up the panel was due to alleged reports that the Borno State government was not giving correct information on Boko Haram activities to the military in the area.

This is even as some suspected Boko Haram terrorists shot dead 30 farm workers as they tilled their fields in remote northeast Nigeria, a police source said on Thursday, amid a mounting insurgency increasingly targeting civilians.

Three people being treated in hospitals for wounds they sustained in earlier attacks were also shot dead in hospitals, bringing to 43, the number of those killed by Boko Haram in the last three days in the state.

The gunmen had ealier attacked Kuburvwi and Kimba villages in Damboa and Biu Local Government Areas yesterday morning, killing over 10 people and setting houses and shops ablaze.

Kuburvwi is about seven kilometres away from Chibok, while Kimba also south of Borno is about 140 kilometres drive from Maiduguri, the state capital.

Thursady's attack led to the destruction of the village of Chukku Nguddoa, said the police source in Borno state, the heart the revolt that is piling political pressure on the government.

The Committee's terms of reference are: to liaise with the Borno State Government and establish the circumstances leading to the Chibok school remaining open for boarding students when others were closed; to liaise with relevant authorities and parents of the missing girls to establish their actual number and identities; to interface with the security services and ascertain how many of the missing girls have returned; to mobilise the surrounding communities and the general public on citizens' support for a rescue strategy and operation; to articulate a framework for moving out of their houses for safety."

"Leave Maheeda Alone..She plays her role perfectly like Kim K" - Etcetera

For any social network groupie, a name like Maheeda doesn't need any form of introduction. All thanks to her for stripping down Nigeria's entertainment Walk Of Fame or Walk Of Shame, stirring up emotions on her wake. Maheeda would have probably been sitting on a long thing if she had decided to lull her way into our hearts. But instead, she chose to put everyone on a much longer thing with her strip tease. And in the process, she snatched the "Queen of the Nakéd" crown from Afro Candy with her head still attached to it.

Judging by her body language, anyone gunning for that "crown" should be ready to outstrip her and inspire more damning comments than hers, something like, 'Maheeda please put on your pants,' 'Tufiakwa, Maheeda you are a disgrace to womanhood,' 'Maheeda please go get a shave,' 'Maheeda you are a prostituté, you are crazy, you are rotten,' and so on.
These are comments that have helped in her star quest. But the clear consensus from supposed haters and secret admirers alike is that Maheeda is hot...

And in showbiz, that's the least crime anyone can be charged for. In other words, blaming Maheeda for exploiting the show part of the business whether to her advantage or not is a matter for another article.

Some of you reading this article know for certain that if Maheeda was getting paid for every of your clicks on her posts, she probably would be one of the richest celebs in Nigeria today. For God's sake, enough with the hates. Leave Maheeda alone. Everything she does is off a well-written script and she plays her role perfectly well just like Kim in keeping up with the Kardashians. And I guess everyone but Nollywood can see her potentials. Well, who can blame our poor dear Nolly? It is not her fault that she was born blind. Whether anyone sees it or not, it is without a doubt that she has made a powerful statement and used controversy to boost her career. Her stunts are no way different from what we have seen in the past from well known artistes in other climes.

The charges brought against her by some self-righteous critics are ironic considering that a lot of our musical videos today are about shaking of bum bum by semi-nude vixens.

Is she seeking for attention? Of course she is. But aren't we all here in entertainment for that sole purpose? Yes, she is pulling a stunt, but not a crass and irresponsible one like most people say. NBC can never be too quick to wield its hammer and lecture of why it should not be allowed for public viewing, because the kids can easily get traumatised. Some of today's teenagers will easily wave it off as nothing. Besides, Maheeda has never said she wanted to be a role model for kids. That is Ben 10's Job. All my life as a musician, I have never come across anything as the perfect formula for making a hit song. You can only decide a more convenient and cost effective way to publicise your works to your audiences. It is said that there is no bad publicity in entertainment, meaning the criticisms further point her in the right direction towards her desired aims. Nudity and music videos are two things that go great together. Artistes have been pushing envelopes for years and using their bodies as extras to woo audiences.

From Alanis Morissette's "Thank U" to Lady Gaga's "Telephone," artistes have been stripping down in their videos. In 1999, the American rock band, Blink 182 moved down the streets almost naked in their "What's My Age" video. D'Angelo revealed his well chiselled abs and almost revealed his penis in his year 2000 "Untitled" (How Does It feel). Robbie Williams also stripped off his clothes and even his skin to impress girls in the "Rock DJ" video that same year. More artistes have gone nude or semi-nude in their music videos, like Britney Spears and Madonna, while Erykah Badu's very popular"Window Seat" video shows her stripping off her clothes while walking through the famed Dealey plaza in her native Dallas.

Television in Nigeria is fast becoming a graveyard of dead and boring programmes due to the strict regulations of NBC. While videos like Maheeda's and Timaya's Ukwu are gaining more viewers for cable TV channels.

I recently stumbled on a TV interview with Maheeda angrily talking about the comments made by Charles Novia about her personality. It was an interview that revealed nothing we didn't already know about Maheeda anyway. But how monotonous can an interview get, asking Maheeda how many minutes she takes to put on her panty hose? How she pictures her as someone who loves getting dressed beats me. Hello, your question should be how many minutes it takes her to get undressed. I guess Maheeda only got dressed that day because the TV station must have insisted on it. And the fact that they are not a cable TV channel. I am sure Maheeda would have loved having NBC choke to death watching her naked tattoo-riddled body on TV. Who wouldn't! Not that the death of NBC would have bothered any entertainer anyway, least of all Maheeda. NBC's funeral might even call for street carnivals all over the Nigerian entertainment-dom.

Nobody requires NBC approval to take off their clothes. I remember seeing a video teaser of Maheeda for the first time on facebook and I thought it was indeed interesting. But I will quickly advise anyone who intends going on a naked pilgrimage like Maheeda's, to first and foremost develop a thick skin as a buffer for public backlash. But some entertainment stakeholders will argue that the only true contingency in entertainment is get criticised and get popular with it. I won't be wrong to assume that a lot of people actually await her next stunt. There's definitely no wahala in nudity as far as the world of art is concerned. In entertainment over the years, we have seen crazier things done with the intent of getting the message across. Erykah Badu for instance got a fair dosage of criticism and respect for her "Window Seat" video.

Maheeda seems prepared to deal with the consequences, good or bad. She has already made it clear to all and sundry that she believes in what she does. And I think it is great. What is so offensive about the human body anyway? Not like she is doing what none of us have seen or heard of before. People should try and lighten up and give her a break. What better way for her to drum up publicity in this already saturated industry of ours. If we all must go only by NBC's regulations and get all dressed up every time we stand before a camera, won't it all be too normal and normal they say is boring.

And while we sit awaiting the next stunt of the nudé high priestess, let me borrow a line from Russell Crow's the gladiator - 'are you not entertained'?

"I regret tweeting about Sinzu's theft"-Godwon

Last month US returnee and rapper ,Godwon opened up a can of worms when he posted a tweet about Sizu wanted for stealing 300 dollars in the USA..He tweeted ...
"At your age, you can't make peace but have time to be thief and make the news… I have been shady but I haven't been posting pix of two new Mercedes when I need 300 bucks so bad I had to steal."
Unknown to him his own candy theft case would be exposed. Now he told Punch he never meant to..He also acknowledged he was arrested for Candy theft but never convicted
"Somebody tweeted to me about Sinzu's case in the US and I only retweeted it. I called him but he didn't want to talk to me.I believe it was somebody close to him that sent that tweet to me. He doesn't realise that people in the US are your friends but once you outshine them, they burn your cable. People don't want to think reasonably. How could it be me? I am in Abuja; do I have surveillance in the US? The cat was already out of the bag. The US officials were already after him. I feel bad for him. If I had known, I wouldn't have retweeted it. By the time I realised it, it was too late. I had known all along about his case. I even felt for him to be involved in such crime, he needed money. But I suggested clean money to him, he wouldn't want it.At the moment, some blogs don't post my music, some radio people don't want to talk to me. It is only God that has been helping me"

Battle for AMAA’s trophies

The sleepy, but oil-rich city of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital   is bound to reverberate this evening as African film makers and stars gather there again for this year's edition of the prestigious Africa Movie and Academy Award, AMAA.

Already, the city is bubbling with life even as tension, anxiety and expectations are thick in the air.

This year's AMAA,which attracts a galaxy of celebrities and stars in the African movie industry, unlike the previous editions, promises to be exciting and superlative. The event is also packaged to mark the academy's 10th year of celebrating African cultural heritage and creativity in grand style.

As remarked by Mrs. Ebizi Ndiomu Brown, Director General, Bayelsa State Tourism Development Agency, this year's awards night will be unique and special in several ways because the agency intends to use the occasion to showcase the rich cultural heritage and promote the tourism and investment opportunities in the state.

"This is the tenth year Bayelsa State is hosting AMAA, and that means we will go the extra mile to ensure that we put together a grand ceremony which will remain a reference point in the entertainment industry in Nigeria," Brown said.

Brown also reiterated the fact that this year's event is being bankrolled by the public sector and some individuals who share in the vision of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson in transforming Bayelsa State into a tourism haven .

Interestingly, top contenders for this year's awards are two South African films, "Of Good Report" and "The Forgotten Kingdom",which showed strength of dominance, as evident in the academy's nomination list released last month. The two films would contend with Nigeria's "Accident", "Potomanto" (Ghana), and "Children of Troumaron" (Mauritius) for the Best Film diadem at a ceremony, which holds at the newly refurbished Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa.

But besides these top contenders, some important awards that would make the difference in this year's AMAA because of the quality of the nominees include the Best Actor and Actress in a leading role; Best Director, Best African film, Best Cinematography and Best achievement in Visual award.

In the Best Actress category, Nigeria has four nominees including Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha(Accident), Clarion Chukwura(Apaye), Uche Jombo, Rodriquez, Monalisa Chinda and Daniella Okeke(Lagos Cougar) and Uche Nnadili(B for Boy)who will be contesting for the award with their counterparts from Ghana, Joselyn Dumas(Northern Affair) and Linda Sokhulu (Felix) from South Africa.

Also, in the Best Actor category, Kanayo O. Kanayo(Apaye), Joseph Benjamin(Murder At Prime Suites), will have the star of South Africa's "Of Good Report" Mothusi Magano, Ghana's Majid Michel(Brothers Keeper), Adjatey Annan(Potomanto) and Zengo Ngqobe(Forgotten Kingdom) to beat. Interestingly, Emem Isong's three movies, 'Apaye', 'Lagos Cougars' and 'After The Proposal' are expected to do Nollywood proud at this year's AMAA. With six nominations, in the following categories; Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Achievement in Make Up and Best Nigerian film, "Apaye" will be the Nigerian film to watch at the awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, organisers yesterday released list of musical stars who are billed to perform at the continental event. They include, Fally Ipupa, Afro hip-hop superstar from the Democratic Republic of Congo,Nigerian contemporary higlife sensation, Flavour, Ghanaian 4×4 musical group and J-Martins.

Announcing the stars, Mr Tony Anih, Director of Administration of AMAA said, "'As an African brand, AMAA always parade the best of our musical stars and celebrities to perform and host the awards. We are continuing in that tradition again." The awards which is being sponsored by Glo, MRS oil, Sterling Bank, BUA Group and FCMB, according to Mr. Anih, will be hosted by former AGN President, Segun Arinze, Nigerian-born British actor, LIoyd Nathaniel and Ghana's Nana Asokor.

Indeed, Yenagoa is literally wearing a green look as major roads leading to the event venue have been heavily branded by the telecommunictaions giant,Globacom ahead of this evening's show.

See Top 10 Richest Nigerian comedians and their sources of wealth

Comedians are meant to be funny.Yes, the stand-up comedians dominating Nigeria's humour business landscape are funny quite alright on stage, but very serious in business.

With assets running into billions of naira, they are light years apart from the past crops of old comedians who wait on people for meager rations of life.

They may look funny and unserious, but they are cavorting to the bank and living their dreams. Ali Baba, the father of stand-up comedians in Nigeria, aptly captured in words, the profitability of comedy business when he said: "comedy is a funny business, a very big business."

After a careful study of the careers of these successful comedians, Showtime came to the conclusion that a number of them are outstanding. Here are the top 10 in this branch of entertainment in terms of their assets, the money they charge per show, the various products or corporate endorsements they did, and their established brands from which they make steady income.

Alibaba:

With over thirty years of performing on stage and hosting events for almost all Nigeria's former presidents and the present one, Ali Baba sits at the apex. Even President Olusegun Obasanjo once jokingly accused him of being overpaid for his performance. His Lekki mansion where he lives is said to be worth more than N300 million alone.

Alibaba makes his money through a chain of businesses in Lagos: as a reputed motivational speaker, a professional comedian patronised by almost all the big brands and political bigwigs in the country. His net worth is estimated to be over 3 billion naira. It is estimated that he performs in a minimum of two events weekly at an average rate of 4 to 4.5million naira per event. That would add up to about 400 million naira per annum!

Basketmouth:

He has been associated with many companies, signing different endorsement contracts in the last six years. He also has an impressive list of branding deals with Amstel Malta, Globacom Ltd. and a host of others. With his sold-out shows in South African, London, and even in far away America, and on his Basketmouth Uncensored platform, the comedian has been so consistent since he came to limelight.

His assets are estimated to be worth 2 billion naira. His annual income may be in excess of 192 million, while endorsement deals run into over 120 million annually. His international show, Basketmouth Uncensored, rakes in an estimated 100million naira. This artiste makes over 360 million annually.

I Go Dye:

United Nations Millennium Developmental Goal Ambassador, Amb. Francis Agoda, fondly called I Go Dye is the C.E.O of Revamp Construction Company, a property, real estate and road Construction Company. An estimate of his annual income stands between 350 and 500million naira, while his net worth is valued at over 2 billion naira. With properties in choice areas across Nigeria, and fleet of luxury cars, he is the man to beat. He also has a special performing relationship with almost all the governors in the country. His business empire is increasing every day. Presently, he is constructing a bottle water company, Franstel Natural Bottle Water.

Julius Agwu:

He made over 20 million naira alone from the launch of his book when he turned 40. He has properties scattered all over the country, a state-of-the-art audio and video studio, and more political affiliates than any other comedian.

For over a decade now, Julius Agwu has been organising two events: Crack Your Ribs and Laugh for Christ Sake. He is reputed to own properties in 3 states in Nigeria, and is also the C.E.O of Real Laff Entertainment Company which is an event management firm. His performance fee is between 2 to 3million naira per event, and his annual take-home is estimated at 180million while his personally organised events are estimated to be about 140 million annually. His net worth is valued to be 1.5 billion naira.

AY:

Since his foray into this money making business, he has risen faster than anticipated with a performance fee that is between 1 and 2 million naira per event, while his A.Y Live events organised annually rakes in 160 million annually. He is said to be earning 280 million naira annually. His net worth is put at 800 million naira. He is also working on his MVP club and also runs an event company. He also has fleets of cars and properties at Lekki area in Lagos.

Gbenga Adeyinka:

No comedian anchors more events than him presently. He is constantly busy and a top choice with politicians. He has properties and several business interests besides his Laffmattaz which is always a sold out show with more than 5000 people in attendance every year

Okey Bakaasi:

He anchors upscale events steadily and must have made huge money from politics too as Senior Special Assistant on entertainment in Imo State. He has a mansion in Imo State and Canada.

TEE-A:

A highly gifted wedding MC, he has equipment and an events company. He anchors mainly heightened events and also does private businesses

I know when to sing and when to shut up – Essence

Uwale Okoro needs no introduction in the Nigerian music scene. She is a graduate of Performing Arts from Delta State University, Abraka. Wale Adenuga soundtrack "This is Super Story" launched her into limelight. Essence as she is fondly known by her fans and colleagues has used her sonorous voice to dazzle her fans and put smiles on their faces as well. In this chat, she talks about her latest R n B single, her pasttime as events compere, her ushering outfit and perhaps her launch into standup comedy and many more.

Excerpts

How did you come into music?
My foray into music was borne out of passion and not for the fame and glory.

What is your advice to up and coming artistes who see your consistency as a source of inspiration?
My advice to them is to first ascertain what they really want and if they are convinced it is music, they must go after it with all their hearts. It is not about your being sexy or about your looks. The most important thing in this trade is the talent. This is not a career you can pursue without talent. You can dazzle for a while but if you don't have the real talent you can't last for very long.

How did you come about doing the theme song "This is Super Story" for the Wale Adenuga's sitcom 'Super Story'?

I was contracted to sing the song for the sitcom when it was about coming out. I had always been a fan of the comic book so when it was adapted for television I was thrilled to be part of it. The song becoming a hit was due to the popularity of the sitcom, more than anything, I think, and it was something that came at the time, as a breath of new life and thank God it is now a classic.

You have strong vocals. What do you do to manage your voice?
My voice is a gift and I treat it as such. I have over the years, by trial and error, come to know when to sing and when to shut up!

Has there ever been a time when your voice failed you when you needed it most?
Oh gosh, yes, my voice has failed me once or twice due to overwork but nowadays when my voice is not in good condition I simply don't sing.

You seem to be one of the oldest artistes in the Kennis Music label who has stayed put. What is the magic?
Having been part of the industry in the capacity of backup singer to Kenny Saint-Brown and a few others, I was priviledged to see first hand the follies of artistes before me. If your aim is to get money or fame at all cost then you will be a rolling stone that will gather no moss, so I advised myself when I finally got signed on, not to make the same mistake. Many who left, left because of greed and impatience.

Who is essence on stage and in the music terrain?
Essence in the Nigerian music terrain is an artiste that is gaining steady momentum and is getting better like fine wine.

What are your dreams and aspirations?
My dreams and aspiration are to, by God's grace, be relevant in my chosen profession in many years to come and of course make more money.

Let's talk about your new hit, 'Facebook Love'. How did you come about that song?

'Facebook Love' was a song gifted to me by God Himself. I prayed for a song that would impact on my environment positively and God gave it to me.
Having been in the music industry for a long time now, what do you wish could be changed in the industry to make it better?

What I wish changed is the lackadaisical attitude towards female artistes. We need level playing grounds. Women should be given same opportunities and accorded same rights as men because we work as hard as the menfolk, if not harder.

Are you cooking up anything for your fans soon?
What should they be expecting from the Essence collections?

I'm working on a reloaded album of my second album 'Essential'. It will feature new songs and remixes like 'Facebook Love' where I featured Neato C and also a reply to Goldie's 'You Know It'.
What is the next big thing for the Essence brand?

The next big thing for Essence is not what I can say. Only God knows the 'big thing' He has in store. I always say "You don't force what is not broken".

What is music to you as a person?
Music is much like breathing to me and even when the low times come, because they always do, passion and love for music sustain me.

Most artistes are coming up with new stage names; do you wish to change your stage name anytime soon?
I have worked very hard to build the brand name 'Essence' and I don't know of any Nigerian artiste laying claim to that name except myself. Anyone with knowledge of branding knows that it is foolhardy to change names, especially, when that name has become a brand. Of course, I have right to explore as an artiste, but I do not plan to change my name.

You were an outstanding R n B artiste; especially when you did the award-winning soundtrack for Wale Adenuga's Super Story; why are you doing more of Hip- hop these days?
If a person is afraid to try new things then that person would remain a failure or that person would be missing out on the growing processes that are expedient to holistic growth. Nevertheless, I am still going back to R n B. At the moment l have a new single 'See Love' , an R n B track; R n B is my true love so l haven't left it as most of my fans are thinking.

You are so down-to-earth. Tell us a little bit about your family and educational background.
I keep hearing I'm down-to-earth. Is there another way to behave? Well, I'm just being me. That's all. No fuss, no fight! I'm a graduate of Performing Arts from Delta State University, Abraka and the last of seven children from Delta State. Itsekiri by tribe and a true Niger Deltan!

Naturally, as an entertainer it is expected that you diversify into other areas of the trade, are we expecting anything like that soon from you?
Diversification is necessary in any industry and the entertainment industry is no exception. Watch out for different facets of the brand Essence.  I do have an ushering outfit, I compere events, I have a proposed television show in the works, aside the fashion show I was working on which is currently on hold. As for comedy, I think l infuse that into my MC thing, which is only pastime thing for me now, but there is no saying I might not take it up full time sometime soon.

Do you think you are using your strong vocal to the best effect?
I honestly think everybody has more to them than they are offering and my prayer is for God to grant me the grace to keep doing what I do and evolve as music evolves and thereby give more and more of myself as the years go by.

You have been long in this industry although you are very young; how would you score the Nigerian entertainment industry as against other music industries across the world?
As a stakeholder in the entertainment industry I hope for every branch to exhibit a high standard of professionalism and not as a 'molue' that everyone sees as a free vehicle to hang on to, without paying their fares to get to their destination. If we don't take ourselves seriously no one will.

What is your favourite food and drink?
My favourite food is fried rice and chicken plus salad and of course, a bottle of Coca-Cola!

Only America is helping Nigeria find kidnapped girls— Kerry

(AFP) – The United States is alone in helping Nigeria locate more than 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Islamists, Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday, despite help on the ground from Britain, France and Israel.

With 80 military personnel sent to neighboring Chad for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, the United States is the biggest foreign participant in the effort against the militant group Boko Haram.

Washington has also deployed surveillance drones, spy planes and about 30 civilian and military specialists to support Nigeria's security forces.

"Boko Haram, Nigeria, only the United States is there offering the assistance to help find those young women," Kerry said during a dinner at the State Department.

"Other countries, not only aren't they invited, but they did not even offer."

Kerry spoke during a dinner at the State Department on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the US diplomatic corps.

However the United States is joined in Nigeria by Britain, France and Israel, which have sent their own experts. China, which saw 10 citizens likely abducted by Boko Haram in a region bordering Cameroon, has also proposed to help.

The United Nations earlier Thursday imposed sanctions on Boko Haram, blacklisting it as an Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist organization.

In his speech, Kerry also lashed out at France, whose Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius has expressed regret that the United States did not attack Syria a year ago amid spiraling violence in the conflict there.

"People are angry because we did not strike Syria at one instance but guess what: Today, 92 percent of all the chemical weapons in Syria are out and being destroyed and the other eight percent will get out," a visibly angry Kerry said, without mentioning France specifically.

"That never would have occurred otherwise."

Kerry is said to have backed military action against President Bashar al-Assad's regime, only to have US President Barack Obama oppose the move at the last minute.

#BringBackOurGirls : I am not slow – GEJ

ABUJA – Thirty days after the abduction of the over 200 Chibok girls in Borno State, President Goodluck Jonathan, Thursday, condemned in strong terms the speculation of some Nigerians that he is slow in bringing back the abducted girls.

He stated this while addressing the protesters from #Bring Back Our Girls campaign group in Abuja.

He said he is not slow in acting because he is on constant discussions with security chiefs almost daily and is in constant consultations with regional and global partners on the terrorist threats.

President Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan

He also said that the federal government took action from the first day the girls were abducted, and directed the security services to go after the abductors, noting that the search for the girls had now assumed regional and global proportion and that Nigeria had received strong support from neighbouring countries and international communities, including the United States, China, the United Kingdom and the entire African continent.

''It is wrong and most unfair to suggest that there has been slow reaction to this kidnapping. From the very first day this occurred, the federal government took action directed our security services to go after the abductors.

The search for our daughters has now assumed regional and global proportion and our nation has received strong support from neighbouring countries and international communities, including the united states, china , Africa, the united kingdom and the entire African continent.''

''That is why I want to appeal to your group that it is important that your genuine patriotic zeal is matched with the realistic understanding of the situation in expressing concern and sentiment on this matter and other matters of terrorism. We are working hard with other nations in order to secure the release of the girls as soon as possible.''

The President was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT and State, Senator Bala Muhammed and Minister of State, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide, Minister of Environment, Mrs. Lawrencia Laraba-Mallam, Minister of Niger-Delta, Mr. Darius Ishaku,Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, Senior Assistant to the President on media, Dr. Rueben Abati and the Senior Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Dorun Okukpe among others.

The President also in the speech read by the Minister of State FCT, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide, further explained that federal government as part of efforts to rescue the abducted girls had mobilized all resources, military and diplomatic in the search for our girls.

Similarly, he stated that the security forces also had reached out to the Borno State government and community members for support and collaboration to bring back the girls, adding that the search for the girls is receiving support.

''So far, the search for our girls is on and is receiving global support. Nigeria in collaboration with Niger, Chad, Cameroon and Benin republic have all agreed to establish a single centre for sharing intelligence on the activities of terrorist across our national boundaries.

AApart from those efforts in the public space, the President said federal government had initiated consultations with so many stakeholders to explore alternative matters of resolving this crisis.

''As commander in chief, I meet with security chiefs almost daily and is in constant consultations with regional and global partners on this terrorist threats.  As early as January 23 2013, I asked the world help in tackling terrorism, I later met with President Obama during the United Nations Assembly meeting in September 2013, where also I requested for the support of the United States of America.

''Government belief we must all come together to fight terrorism and that protest should be directed to the terrorists who have abducted our girls. Our security men are among the best trained in Africa, they are making so much sacrifice in the fight against terror,'' he said.

In her response, one of the leaders of the group and former minister of education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, said the group felt disappointed for not meeting with the President stating that none of the issues raised in their letter was addressed in his speech and sought for another audience with him, describing the meeting as a colossal missed opportunity.

''Let Mr. President know that none of the issues raised have been addressed. We actually felt sad at the missed opportunity, there is a colossal missed opportunity but citizens that gathered here today are citizens who are saying, we do not want any fractious fight against the common enemy. That we want a united fight.

''We are not the type that you should be telling about the citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan. We will demand from President another opportunity of a meeting of addressing the issues that citizens have put before our commander in Chief. We seek the opportunity of a united nation inspired, mobilised and sincerely spoken to and we want to have that discussion and end to terrorism,'' she posited.

Too Bad: How Boko Haram killed my Father, Brother and asked me to lie between their corpses - 15 year old Chibok girl

Deborah Peter a 15 year old girl from Chibok survived the Boko Haram slaughter of her family in 2011 after witnessing her dad and brother killed and asked to lie between their corpses .She told her story to U.S. House lawmakers ,House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday
Read below....

"My name is Deborah Peter and I am the sole survivor of a Boko Haram attack on my household. On December 22, 2011 at 7 pm, my brother and I were at home when we started hearing some guns shooting. My brother called my dad and told him not to come home because some people were shooting guns. But my dad said he should not worry because it was not the first time he had come home when people were fighting. When my dad came home, he said that he was going to take a shower because he was hot. At 7:30 pm, three men knocked on the door. My brother answered the door because he recognized one of the men as a Muslim in our community.

The men asked where my dad was and I told them that he was in the shower. The men waited. After three minutes, they went into the bathroom and dragged my dad into the main room. They said that my dad was wasting their time and that they did not have time to wait on him. The men told my dad that he should deny his Christian faith. My dad told them that he would not deny his faith. They said that if he did not deny his faith they were going to kill him. My dad refused, saying that Jesus said whoever acknowledges Him in front of man, He will acknowledge in front of God; and whoever denies Him in front of man, He will deny in front of God in heaven.

My dad said that he would rather die than go to hell fire. After he told the men that, the men shot him three times in his chest. My brother was in shock. He started demanding, "What did my dad do to you?

Why did you shoot him?" The men told him to be quiet or else they were going to shoot him too. Then, the men discussed whether they should kill my brother. One of the Boko Harams said they should kill Caleb, my brother. The second man said that he was just a boy and that he was too young to kill. But the third man said that they should make an exception in this case because Caleb will only grow up to be a Christian pastor. Caleb asked me to plead with them for his life but they told me to shut up or they would kill me too. The leader agreed that they should kill him and shot my brother two times. My dad had still been breathing but when he saw them shoot Caleb, he died. My brother fell down but was still alive and gasping. The men shot him in his mouth. Then, my brother stopped moving and died. I was in shock. I did not know what was happening. The men put me in the middle of my dad and brother's corpses, told me to be quiet or be killed, and left me there. I stayed there until the next day when the army came. They removed my dad and brother's bodies to the mortuary and took me to the hospital.

I was traumatized. A nearby pastor paid for me to get out of town when he discovered that Boko Haram said they made a mistake by not also killing me. Boko Haram decided later that they should have killed me because I am the daughter of an apostate Muslim mother who converted to Christianity. So the pastor paid for me to get out of that region. I fled and Jubilee Campaign helped me come to a 9/11 child survivors of terrorism camp in America.

My family was targeted by Boko Haram because we are Christians. My dad was a pastor. We had to move from place to place because Boko Haram always attacked my father and told him that they would kill him. In November, they burned his church and threatened him. My dad refused to deny his faith and rebuilt his church. That is why they killed him—because he is a Christian.

I decided to tell the world my story when the Chibok girls were taken because everyone needs to know how horrible Boko Haram is. They kill innocent people who never hurt them. I want the world to understand what happened to me. I hope that the kidnapped Chibok girls will take courage from my story, and know more of what God says, and know what it means to stand strong in the face of bad people. I hope that they will be free and be able to go to school and worship freely. I hope that like me, some of them can come and continue their education in America. "

I Never called Patience Jonathan an illiterate-Prof.Wole Soyinka

After the infamous video where the first lady was weeping over the missing Chibok girls, a statement attributed to Wole Soyinka read

When you marry an illiterate woman as a wife, you will definitely make stupid decisions like jonathan'
In a new release by him, he says he never said anything like that ...

"While I have on occasion found myself compelled to publicly chastise Mrs. Jonathan over unacceptable conduct, I have NEVER referred to her as "illiterate" nor linked President Jonathan's governance with his wife's educational attributes or lack thereof.I therefore repudiate this statement that could only have stemmed from some ignorant clod, who is additionally devoid of the moral courage of his or her own untenable convictions.

To attribute to me the slightest interest in the choice of a spouse by man or woman is a complete travesty of my near obsessive belief in the sanctity of private relationships. I intend to take whatever legal steps are available once we have succeeded in tracing the source of this execrable material.Let me take this opportunity to announce yet again that I do not tweet, blog or whatever goes on in this increasingly promiscuous medium."

"I do not run a Facebook, even though I am aware that one or two serious-minded individuals/groups have instituted some such forum on their own, for the purpose of disseminating factual information on my activities. I neither contribute to, nor comment on the contents of their "calendar".

"I shall appreciate your immediate help in this matter. To speak generally, Internet abuse is getting to be a universal plague, one that goes beyond personal embarrassment and umbrage.

"I strongly recommend collective, professional action to protect the integrity of the medium, and save it from becoming a mere vomitorium for unprincipled scallywags with, or even with no particular axe to grind. Such a trend is fraught with outright danger, and should not be underestimated.

Ini Edo’s Husband’s Ex Wife Ruth Okoro Blast Jim Iyke For Destroying Her Marriage

After Emma called Jim Iyke out for accusing him of breaking his relationship with actress Nadia Buari, Ini Edo's husband's former wife, Ruth Okoro has also called him out. Ruth who accused Jim Iyke of trying every possible means of dating her, says Jim only dates American women because of their green card. He is so desperate to have one, Ruth said. Read her mail which just came in now after the cut.

In 2005 Jim Iyke started heating on me since when I refused his advances and reported him to my husband Philips Ehiagwina, now Ini Edo's husband. Jim Iyke tried to talk me out of telling my husband and when I insisted he got upset and decided to set Emeka Ike up because Emeka Ike is the only person I confided in and when I was invited to Maryland to feature in a movie, alongside Keturah Hamilton, Emeka Ike was there and I always confided in him and asked questions. Emeka Ike and his wife Emma have been my friends for over 11 years now, I visited them when I visit Nigeria...

Jim Iyke made lofty promises to me trying to win my heart and he never expected me to say no so when I did he tried to convince me telling me that the man I claim to love so much and brought to the United States has been cheating on me with everything in skirt.  (Philips Ehiagwina) an Edo man I met in Nigeria in 1998 and sacrificed all to ensure he has a good life. Jim Iyke told me all that my husband was and is still doing to me in my absence, even got Ini Edo the actress pregnant..at d moment, I have confirmed all Jim Iyke told me about my husband. One of my husband's mistresses Nkiru who lives in Houston,Texas set him up after she found out that my husband betrayed his wife (me) and lied to me. She decided to set him up with an audio coverage and got every prove, he confessed about playing me for a green card on tape.

At the moment he has a case with the United States Immigration and the FBI is also on this case. It is a very long story. I have decided to speak to the press and bring d truth to d table at this moment.

It was very unfair that Jim Iyke who knows the truth but afraid to face it could be so callous to accuse an innocent person like Emeka Ike who has been nothing but a big brother to me since I've known him.

I was very upset about it and and fought for the truth. My husband met me as a virgin and took my virginity on a night of our honeymoon. For him to paint a bad picture of me simply because I reported his green card fraud to d FBI since he has refused to confide in me is something I never saw coming but I will fight to d end.

Jim Iyke has tried dating several girls just to obtain a green card, one of d girls he dated confessed that he tried to get her pregnant and when she said no Jim Iyke decided to spend her money with promises of everlasting love and then left her for another person. Now he is dating a Jamaican girl ( Keturah Hamilton) who just got her green card few months ago after marrying for a green card. She is also a male magazine model who strips naked for male magazines.

Those supporting Jim Iyke right now should know he destroyed my marriage. Jim Iyke is evil, very vicious. It was a good thing that he got exposed. Keturah Hamilton is a loser. She has no means of livelihood. She strips for clubs and that is, Good riddance to bad rubbish.   Jim Iyke framed Emka Ike and me  up. Keturah Hamilton was there. Nigeria’s music industry making global impact, says Olu Maintain

Lagos -  Musician Olumide Adegbolu, popularly known as Olu Maintain, said on Tuesday that the country's music industry was making global impact in spite of the challenges facing it.

"The quality of material is very encouraging. There's been a lot of growth, and there's been considerable, measurable development as well.

"We're very far from where we started from and we still have a lot to do. It has been a steady growth process. It looks promising and it can only get better.
"If you had looked at it five years back and compared it to the present, you would see some undeniable improvement.

"Nigeria music has instantly become a factor worldwide, not just because of the support given, but most especially the population and purchasing power of Nigerians, "he said.

He said that the sky was the limit of music production in the country adding that there was massive music culture evolving across the nation.

"The revolution is so big that in the next five years people worldwide will be heard singing songs with Nigerian lyrics," he said.
