Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are back together!

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose hated each other just weeks ago, but now they're celebrating together withthe Easter bunny.
Wiz, Amber and 2-year-old Sebastian arrived in the same ride for Tamar Braxton's big Easter party inCalabasas.
People at the party tell us … Wiz and Amber were affectionate with each other — at times hugging — and very playful. At times they walked away from the crowd to spend time with each other.
This is a big deal because on Thursday Amber posted on Instagram that she prays, dreams and hopes she gets back with Wiz.

Drop your crown & pursue politics - Afenifere reacts to Oba of Lagos anti-Igbo comments

Pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere has called on the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu to drop his crown and pursue politics following his recent anti-igbo remarks. Spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin spoke to Vanguard about the position of the group;

"We say with all sense of responsibility that if these were truly the words of Kabiyesi, he has clearly crossed the line of royal decency, desecrated the royal stool and violated the electoral laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and engaged in promotion of hate speech capable of fueling ethnic tension and clashes which are against the spirit of peaceful co-existence which we have achieved in recent years.
We respect the right of Oba Akiolu to drop the crown at Iga and become Director of Mobilisation for the leader of his party if he so desires, but we detest his hiding behind the throne to fan the embers of disunity which could put Yoruba people in harm's way wherever they are living as settlers. Yoruba people are too civilized to support the primitive intimidation of fellow Nigerians just as we will not accept such action being visited on our people in any part of Nigeria." he said

President Jonathan warns against negative triumphalism

Read the State House press statement below...

As the nation prepares for Saturday's governorship and State Assembly elections, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan calls on all Nigerians to remain peaceful, united and law-abiding. The President condemns the very unseemly attempt by some politicians, groups and individuals to intimidate others, heat up the polity and cause public disorder and disaffection in the aftermath of the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

President Jonathan is especially concerned about the negative triumphalism that has been put on display by certain elements since March 31 which flies in the face of his personal commitment to post-election peace, unity and national stability.

The President calls on all those, who through their actions and utterances, have been promoting divisiveness, sectionalism and ethnic hatred in the country following the outcome of the March 28 elections to cease and desist from actions that detract from the true spirit and culture of democracy envisioned by patriotic men and women of goodwill in Nigeria.

President Jonathan also condemns the undue harassment of public officials serving under his administration and urges all affected persons to continue to perform their lawful duties without fear. The President cautions that this should be a time for the healing of political wounds in the overriding interest of national unity, stability and progress, not a time for ethnic jingoism and the settling of scores. The Federal Government will not condone any attempt to instigate a crisis in any part of the country in furtherance of personal political ambitions.

President Jonathan assures all Nigerians that his administration remains fully committed to national progress and the entrenchment of the best values of democracy for the good of all Nigerians. He urges Nigerians to go out en-masse once again on April 11 to vote for candidates of their choice in the Governorship and State Assembly elections with the confidence that his administration will do all within its powers to ensure that they do so in peace, without threats, intimidation or violence from any quarters.

Photo: Kanye West Releases His Own Bible, Replaces God With "Yeezus" or "Kanye"

Kanye West has finally released his much talked about book "The book of Yeezus" which he described as the modern day bible. The book released Sunday March 5, has the name 'God' replaced with 'Yeezus.' I hear Kanye is not actually the author.

Read how the team described the book;

"Each generation champions a superstar, so consistently relevant that they come to accompany that generation through it's evolution, being a part of and ultimately shaping its identity. Such past icons have been the likes of Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, or Michael Jackson. For this generation, Generation Y, Kanye West is not only its greatest spectacle, but in some senses, a spiritual figure.

We are here to spread a doctrine. Well, a pseudo-doctrine. We ask you to use your pulpit for Good.
A few months ago, my brothers and I embarked on a creative journey that began with a "What If?"

What if the Bible, the most singularly significant publication in the ancient canon of Western tradition, were updated to reflect our modern society? What would it look like? What we came up with was an interventionist art, coffee-table novelty, that will appeal to both Kanye fans everywhere and those made curious by this enormous cultural phenomenon.

At it's simplest, it is the book of Genesis, modified to feature "Kanye" or "Yeezus" in the place of God or Y---A. "In the beginning Kanye created the heaven and the earth… And Kanye said, Let there be light: and there was light."

In a sense, Kanye's awesome and orchestrated spectacle is truly a religious experience. In a foreword, we explore our consumerist, quick-fix, and information-culture, and celebrate Kanye and the outsized significance he plays in our lives. All of this, bound in a black, hard-cover gold-leaf imprinted book.

We present to you the Book of Yeezus"

Shocking: Couple arrested for selling 'Golden Tickets to Heaven',,,Claim Jesus gave them

A couple ,Tito and Amanda Watts were arrested over the weekend for selling "golden tickets to heaven" to hundreds of people. The couple, who sold the tickets on the street for $99.99 per ticket, told buyers the tickets were made from solid gold and each ticket reserved the buyer a spot in heaven simply present the ticket at the pearly gates and you're in.

A Jacksonville police spokesman said

"People can sell tickets to heaven,"But the Watts misrepresented their product. The tickets were just wood spray painted gold with 'Ticket To Heaven – Admit One' written in marker. You can't sell something as gold when it's not. That's where the Watts crossed the line into doing something illegal."

Tito Watts said in his police statement:

I don't care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… it ain't cut up two by fours I spray painted gold. And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space.

I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he'd take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that's made entirely of crack cocaine. You can smoke all the crack cocaine there you want… totally free. So, try to send an innocent man to jail and see what happens. You should arrest Jesus because he's the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I'm willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up

Amanda Watts said in her police statement:

We just wanted to leave earth and go to space and smoke rock cocaine. I didn't do nothing. Tito sold the golden tickets to heaven. I just watched
Police said they confiscated over $10,000 in cash, five crack pipes and a baby alligator.

I Told Jonathan That He Will Lose Before Election: Tb Joshua

Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, on Sunday said he told President Goodluck Jonathan, that he would lose the presidential election.

Prophet Joshua said:

"I want to use this moment to congratulate Nigerians in our midst here. Look, Nigeria wanted change – everyone was yearning for change. An attempt to stop change leads to war, to a bloodbath… If Nigeria knows what we have overcome, we would dance, I really want to salute President Jonathan. The President has served; he has done his best. It was just the season of crisis – and unfortunately he found himself at the lead in the season of crisis ,

He said God told him -

"This message should be delivered to your president, that whatever the outcome of this election, his regime has come to an end. He should accept to save the lives of millions,"

Mr. Joshua claimed he called Mr. Jonathan by phone, adding that he had previously shared with him many revelations about Nigeria which eventually came to pass.

That is why I don't belong to any party. All the parties are my own. I love everyone. If I belong to this party and the message of God is now against that party, how will I present it – when no one knows the mind of God? It is better I am free to deliver God's message."
"I am a material to be used that will not cost you any money. I am afraid to collect money from you because if I collect it, it will affect the gift and grace of God in my life."

Fani-Kayode reacts to Oba of Lagos alleged threat to Igbos, says its ominious and unacceptable

He shared his thought on the alleged threat on his Facebook wall

The Oba of Lagos' threat against the Igbos in Lagos that if they do not vote for the APC in the governorship elections on Saturday they should be ready for the consequences and that if they don't vote for Ambode they should be ready to perish in the lagoon is ominous and unacceptable.
The truth is that we were threatened with ethnic cleansing and religious carnage in the north had Buhari not won the election on march 28th and had Jonathan not quickly conceded defeat and now our traditional supporters are being threatened in Lagos and in many other states.
Let two things be clearly understood. In as much as we all want peace in this country and in as much as Jonathan has graciously and quickly conceded defeat in the Presidential election, this does not mean that we are weak or powerless.

Let it be clearly understood by all and sundry that any attempt to kill or molest our supporters in the north, in the west or indeed in any other part of the country either before, during or after saturday's governorship elections or any attempt at ethnic or religious cleansing by the APC, their supporters or their friends and agents will be deemed unacceptable and will be met with defiance, contempt and resistance.

Enough of all these APC threats and all this rubbish. No-one is intimidated on our side and neither do we fear for the future because God is with us, He is faithful and He is in control. We want peace and we want harmony in this country but no-one or no group of people will be allowed to turn us or our supporters into slaves or give us sleepless nights.

The APC would do well to remember that they only won the presidential election by 2 million votes. The PDP got 12 million votes in that election which means that we have 12 million loyal foot soldiers and supporters in this country and that is no mean feat.

We are a strong party, we are confident for the future, we are ready for anything and most important of all we are ready for the polls on saturday. We take this opportunity to urge the PDP faithful in Lagos to go out and vote en masse for the PDP.

We urge them to vote for Jimi Agbaje and to free Lagos state from the shackles of darkness and oppression. We urge them to stand firm, to hold their heads up high and to do their very best. We urge our supporters in Rivers state, Oyo state, Imo state, Plateau state, Kaduna state and indeed in all the states where elections will take place on saturday to do the same, to take the destiny of their respective states into their hands and to vote for the PDP candidates in the various elections.

What happened during the presidential election on March 28th was sad and unfortunate but we have accepted defeat and we wholeheartedly accept the will of the people of Nigeria. That does not however mean that we should close shop and not put up a good fight for Saturdays governorship elections.

This is the time to call on the party faithful to rise up. This is the time to rally our troops and to call on our footsoldiers and loyalists to come out in their millions and wipe away the sadness of march 28th by winning massively in saturdays governorship elections.

This is the time to prove to our detractors that despite their provocative utterances, their empty and boastful threats, their mocking words and their gratutious insults that the PDP is far from dead and is still very much alive.

Our party shall go from strength to strength despite the monumental challenges that lie ahead. Whether we win or lose on saturday is not the issue. The issue is that whatever anyone may say and whatever they may feel, the PDP is not going anywhere and neither shall we crumble and fade away. We are here for the long haul: we are here to stay.

You will die if you fail to vote Ambode - Oba of Lagos threatens Igbos in Lagos

Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has threatened Igbos in Lagos, saying any Ibo man or woman who fails to vote Lagos state APC governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode as Governor in next Saturday's governorship election will die within 7 days. According to Oba Akiolu, he owns Lagos and his bidding must be done by everyone in the state.

Daily Independent reports that Oba Akiolu gave out the threat when he met with Igbo leaders resident in Lagos at his Palace yesterday April 5th.
"On Saturday, if any one of you goes against Ambode who I picked, that is your end. If it doesn't happen within seven days, just know that I am a bastard and its not my father who gave birth to me. By  the grace of God, I am the owner of Lagos for the time being. This is an undivided chair. The palace belongs to the dead and those coming in the future. On Saturday, if anyone of you, I swear in the name of God, goes against my wish that Ambode will be the next governor of Lagos state, the person is going to die inside this water.
For the Igbos and others in Lagos, they should go where the Oba of Lagos heads to. When they were coming to the state, they didn't come with all their houses. But now they have properties in the state. So they must do my bidding. And that is the bidding of the ancestors of Lagos and God. I am not ready to beg you. Nobody knew how I picked Ambode. Jimi is my blood relation and I told him that he can never be governor in Lagos for now. The future belongs to God. I am not begging anybody, but what you people cannot do in Onitsha, Aba or anywhere you can not do it here.
If you do what I want, Lagos will continue to be prosperous for you, if you go against my wish, you will perish in the water. I am for the progress, growth and development in Lagos, Ambode is highly cerebral, he's a symbol and he is going to deliver the message which I the Oba of Lagos have said. And he will govern the state for another eight years. He is going on a mission and God will give him the wisdom and knowledge to fulfill that mission. Almost a year ago, I declared that Ambode will be the next governor of Lagos and it will not change. From time immemorial, the previous occupiers  of this house will say what they wanted after consultation with other people. And this hasn't change and it will not change at this time." he allegedly said.

Pdp candidate Jimi Agbaje's response to calls for Lagos to be politically aligned with the Federal Government

From the office of the Lagos Gubernatorial candidate for the PDP, Jimi Agbaje. Read below...
Dear People of Lagos, you've probably heard the new rhetoric that the APCs spin-masters have been spewing out in the last couple of days stating that if Lagos is in the opposition, the Federal Government will deny Lagos a lot of benefits. Just yesterday, a few well meaning Lagosians had sent us Facebook and SMS messages asking for my take on this issue so I've decided to speak up.
First, I wonder about the soundness of this argument especially after listening to President-elect General Buhari's acceptance speech where he clearly stated " There shall no longer be a ruling party again... We shall never rule over the people as if they were subservient to government".

This basically spoke to our better-angels as a people and our sense of community as Nigerians. If so, then where's the logic in the argument? Is APC LAGOS by the nature of this "aligning Lagos to the center" statement, now inferring that General Buhari intends to run a vindictive, partial or insensitive government? Well, that's not for me to answer and it's clearly not the focus of this piece.

What I know, however, is that Lagos has always made progress in spite of being in the opposition and right now it will be to the benefit of democracy and the whole country to have a watchful police, as opposed to both power houses - Lagos & Abuja concentrated in one party. In fact, if my memory of history serves me well, Lagos and the FG have never been in the same party. Our development as a state is as a result of our ingenuity, tenacity and drive as a people. And it's clear that Lagosians can see through this total botch of logic.

During late Pa' Awo's time, the Action Group led Lagos while the NCNC led the FG. In 1979 up until 1983, LK Jakande's achievements were under UPN even though President Shagari was in NPN. In 1992 Governor Otedola was NRC and SDP led the FG before the JUNE 12 annulment. In 1999 Tinubu was AD, FG was PDP. In 2007-2011, his excellency, Governor Fashola was AC/ACN/APC while the FG led by Yar'Adua was PDP. Under Yar'Adua, the FG released withheld funds to Lagos that had been blocked by his predecessor despite being in opposing parties with Governor Fashola. You see, our edge as a state has always being about our collective ability to stay ahead of the curve with our without favour from the FG.

That said, it's important that we put in context what is really happening in Nigeria. The yearning for change that has clearly swept this nation is one that supersedes any one man, political party, tribe or religion. Put simply, it is a statement against the status-quo. A clarion call by the people for leaders who will put the peoples interests first before aggrandisement and petty bickering that seems to have become the norm in politics. To politicians, leaders and people in position of authority including myself, it is a call that we cannot stand against. It's one that we must all comply with to ensure that we build a better society and a greater Nigeria.

Now given that our message of transforming governance in Lagos to ensure that we cater not only to few elites but the generality of the greater good of the people of Lagos is resonating with Lagosians - both indigenes and non-indigenes alike, one can only expect the opposition to throw everything including the kitchen sink. It is clear that arguments of this sort are only the rumblings of a small group of people determined to hold on to power at all costs in Lagos. Even on the streets, one can clearly see the destruction of our adverstising material from the Third Mainland Bridge right down to Ikoyi; it's been fatal. But I dare say that the handwriting is on the wall. The people of Lagos, in this election are determined to CHANGE the status-quo and they will do everything in their power to protect and guard their votes.

As we approach the end of this tightly contested election race in Lagos, I'll encourage voters to be careful about what I call last-minute divisive tactics which, again is to be expected at a time such as this. My opponent will keep on making insinuations and attempt to pre-empt how I will govern rather than share with us his own unique take on how he intends govern. It is political silly season, I get it. But at the end of day, the result speaks for itself and the people are wiser now.

I pride myself on the fact that we've run a pretty robust, disciplined and inclusive campaign where people from all works of life have supported our efforts - technocrats, party members, non-party members, youth volunteers, indigenes and non-indigenes alike. We've led by example and remained honourable even in the face of intimidation.  We've highlighted bold plans that will enhance the contributions of our youth, artisans and civil service to society. We've laid out potentially path-breaking reform plans to curb corruption in government by leveraging web technology that will make not just help

PDP Expels Jigawa Deputy Governor

The deputy governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Ahmad Mahmud has been expelled from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for alleged anti-party activities. His expulsion comes ahead of his rumored defection to APC today. A statement signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Kafinta, PDP chairman of Galagamma ward in Gumel, Jigawa, revealed that the decision to expel Mahmud was taken during a stakeholders meeting held in his ward.

According to the statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Dutse, the chairman alleged that the deputy governor had sabotaged PDP during the recent National Assembly election. He said that the Gumel Local Government headquarters of the party had endorsed the expulsion. Efforts by NAN to get the comments of the deputy governor on the matter was futile as he neither picked calls nor replied a text message sent to him.

Our women are prostitutes — Bose Arowosegbe

It does appear that busty and beautiful Yoruba actress, Bose Arowosegbe, is fast becoming a controversial personage. No one can question her boldness. But not many of her colleagues thought it was boldness when she brazenly disclosed in an interview with Vanguard, sometime ago, that lesbianism also exists in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood just as it does in the English-speaking sector. Now, it seems some women may be calling for her head for asserting with strong conviction that all women are prostitutes.

So strong is Bose's conviction that she made a movie about it. In fact her fifth self-produced film titled 'Tani Asewo' literally meaning 'Who's a Prostitute' is to drive home her belief that all women, bankers, actresses, lawyers, businesswomen are all prostitutes.
Bose Arowosegbe

"It's because people think that actresses are prostitutes. To say the truth, I believe that all women are prostitutes. People who think it's only actresses should go to other fields and see what they do there" she told our reporter, explaining the inspiration behind the film.

When the reporter suggested she should have used another title for the film instead of calling all women prostitutes, she shot back, "Like which one? Maybe you should give me a title to use. To me, I still insist that every woman is a prostitute. People should go and watch my film, and they'll know how. They should go to other fields, and they'll see for themselves that those people are even worse than actors. God gave me the inspiration and I did it. It was God's saying. Besides, this is the fifth film I'm producing by myself. Besides, I noticed that everybody, both in the industry and outside, loved the title and the concept. The movie aims to dispel the notion people have that all actresses are prostitutes. Between a banker, actress and police, who is the prostitute? I worked with people like Faithia Williams, Biodun Okeowo, Aremu Afolayan, Ope Olusanya, among others in the film"

When she was told it seemed she believed that actresses are glorified prostitutes, she replied tersely again, " No! Every woman is a prostitute.

Didi flaunts bum again, with word of caution on ‘envy

Hot Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has said she wished people would notice her for her talent rather than for her bum and hips which continue to make headlines week in, week out.

She was particularly pained by this, or at least so it seemed when she told me but it looks like Didi herself has a thing for flaunting her asset. She is ever present on the social media, in different poses, laying the goods to the good.
Didi Ekanem

Last week she struck another pose on Instagram with various hashtags which may be discerned as her way of telling other girls not to envy her shape. Guess how many girls would want to have that ticking bomb shape? A lot I guess.

"If #envy had a shape, it would be a #boomerang. If #envy were a disease, most people would be #sick . Envy has no #holidays ,it has no #rest. The envy that compares us to others is #foolishness . They are only comparing #themselves with each other, and measuring #themselves with #themselves. What foolishness! Judge that ye may not be judged. And may we never let the things that we can't have or don't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. #behappyforabrotherorsister #prayandbelieveyouhaveaturn #whenthereislifethereishope #blessedweek #happymondayagain #didiekanem" she quips.

Read Full Easter Message By President Jonathan

Easter is here again!! Christ has risen, our beloved president has a message for us below…..

Fellow citizens,
I greet you all, especially our Christian brothers and sisters, as we celebrate Easter in commemoration of the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For Christians all over the world, the major lessons of Easter, which we celebrate this year in the midst of general elections in our nation, are to be found in the Messiah's Divine love and glorious self-sacrifice for the redemption of mankind.

This year's celebration of Easter is taking place at a period of very critical national choices and decisions, during which we must all be prepared and willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace, political stability and progress in our beloved country.

We must therefore seize the opportunity of the Easter holiday to reflect deeply on what more we need to do as a people, to ensure that the political process in which we are currently engaged is successfully concluded and that our beloved country, Nigeria continues to move towards a better future for all of its citizens.

Happily, we have already successfully scaled the hurdle of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections. I am quite hopeful that the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections will also be conducted peacefully.

To the glory and pride of our fatherland, our collective actions since March 28 have assured the world that the democratic spirit is alive and well in our nation.

By the grace of God, our beloved nation, Nigeria is moving forward despite all challenges.
Let us all pray this Easter, that God Almighty who has brought us this far, will continue to bless our nation as we march onward towards the fulfillment of our collective vision of a truly united, strong and prosperous nation.

I wish you all very happy Easter celebrations.

Wonder Shall Never End- Check Out A 19 Year Old Girl, Whose Uncle Has Been Sleeping With.. She Le@ked Photos Online

This is So Sad! She was naive and the man took advantage of her, now the result has come out , read below and see full picture of her.
Here is her story.........

I am a 19 year old lady. My parents have been separated since I was about 8, and I'm an only child. Since I was about 12 years old, I have been engaging in a $'exual affair with my mother's younger brother who lives with us. When it started initially, it scared me a lot, and when I told my mum..

she dismissed my report and accused me of making it up, I even got shouted at for trying to ' spoil his name'.Afterwards, I began to enjoy being with him, I was young, so the little treats he would give me made me feel like he genuinely loved me as he claimed. He was responsible for picking me up

from school and I would be home alone with him, whilst I did my homework, he would touch me and I was vulnerable so I responded, and even performed oral-$e'x on him, and I would promise not to tell anybody because nobody would believe me.

At 16, I moved away to boarding school and found that when I left, I missed him a lot, the way he made me feel, the things he said, the way he touched me, the excitement of the secret. I would come home on the holidays excited to see him, and through the holidays, it would continue, sometimes I even

initiated it…On one Christmas holiday, I lost my virg*nity to him. After that, I genuinely felt like I loved him. I convinced my parents to allow me move back home
to attend a day school, and when I did, it just continued. I have never had such strong feelings for any other guy, and whenever I have seen him with

women, I'm enraged. To get to the point, I am now in university, and I am still involved in this relationship, I am not dating and none of my friends know, but now, I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have never been pregnant before, and we usually use protection but I am and it could only be for him, because

I have never been with anybody else.I informed him, he accused me of sleeping around at university and insists that I get an abortion immediately, I can't talk to anybody else about this and I am desperate for advice. I have cried, and prayed for forgiveness, and the idea of an abortion scares me, but I still find myself wanting to

please my uncle, because a part of me really does love him. I also cannot bear the thought of tearing my family apart.Should I tell somebody about this, or just get an abortion? Please help.

Fayose, Ekiti APC lawmakers bicker over impeachment notice

The 19 All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in Ekiti State House of Assembly have served Governor Ayo Fayose and his deputy,Dr Olusola Olubunmi Eleka, notice of gross misconduct.

The lawmakers, who left the state last November after the purported impeachment of the Speaker, Hon Adewale Omirin, staged a come back on Wednesday after INEC pronounced General Muhammadu Buhari the president-elect, stormed the assembly and hurriedly held a prayer session.

The comeback came as the seven PDP lawmakers, led by factional Speaker, Hon Dele Olugbemi, held plenary in the House. When it was apparent that the face -off between the APC and PDP lawmakers could lead to the breaking down of law and order, the state Police Commissioner,Mr Taiwo Lakanu ordered his men to seal-off the House.

According to the letter, said to have been sent to the governor by the APC lawmakers, titled, Re: Notice of Allegations of Gross Misconduct , eight impeachable allegations were levelled against him.

FayoseSpeakerThese include invasion of the House of Assembly with thugs and micreants, instigating unconstitutional take over of the House by seven legislators to sit in contravention of Section 96(2) of the Constitution, prevention of 19 APC legislative members from performing legislative duties with the use of security agents and armed thugs and sponsoring an unlawful impeachment process in the House.

Responding, Fayose described the APC lawmakers as jesters.

The governor, who said he read the notice of the impeachment like any other person online, noted that Omirin has ceased being the Speaker of the House.

"The script being acted by the APC is a failed one because no one, no matter how highly placed will be allowed to test the will of Ekiti people," he stated.

He said the purported impeachment notice was the "joke of the century". "The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly is Hon Dele Olugbemi and not Dr Adewale Omirin", he said.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Fayose said: "Omirin is already in court, challenging his impeachment and common sense dictates that when you are challenging an action already taken in court, you have accepted the consequences of such action pending the determination of the suit you filed."

He explained that the APC lawmakers should stop advertising their ignorance and crudity in the market place by posting impeachment notice online.

"Since last year November, these so-called lawmakers abdicated their duties and ran to Lagos only for them to resurfaced on Wednesday, but they hurriedly ran away again.

"Now they are posting notice of impeachment signed on March 9, 2015 and Ekiti people are asking; was the motion for impeachment moved and adopted in Lagos or Osun State House of Assembly?

"Is impeachment of a governor done along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway inside a moving bus?

"Rather than going about advertising their ignorance and crudity, the APC lawmakers should wait for the court to adjudicate on the case they filed because even the President-Elect, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) will respect the rule of law when he assumes office."
