7 Steps On How to Be Happy in a Relationship

Learn the secret behind knowing how to be happy in a
relationship. It takes just seven simple steps to bring love
and happiness into a relationship.
Bringing happiness into arelationship is one of the simplest
things couples can do.
But yet, several couples have a hard time keeping love and
happiness alive, even if they did experience a lot ofit in the
first few months or years of the relationship.
Find out how to be happy in a relationship with these seven simple
tips that can definitely change your life for the better.

How to be happy in a relationship
You don't need a lot of money or extravagant gifts and lavish
dinners to experience true love and happiness.
All you need to do is understand what really matters in love
and how you can bring little changes in your daily interactions
with your partner and change your lives.
Follow these seven steps, and you'll see a happy and
successful change in your relationship almost instantly.

•Step 1 Communicate and understand each other
Remember those first few weeks when both of you were
dating each other?
Can you remember all those incessant rounds of questions
both of you asked each other to find out about your likes and
dislikes?
Don't stop asking those questions.
You may be in love with each other for several years, but as
individuals, both of you are constantly changing all the time.
Learn to communicate and ask each other all those first date
questions now and then, and try to have an active interest in
each other's lives and pursuits. It'll help both of you
understand each other better and bring both of you closer.
Always remember this. Misunderstandings in love don't
happen when you mishear each other, it happens most when
you stop communicating with each other.

•Step 2 End every argument as soon as possible
If you want to use these steps to change your life, both of you
have to be aware of what it takes to be happy in a relationship
and both of you have to work towards it. It just can't be a one
sided effort.
Confusions and petty arguments are at times inevitable even
in the most happiest of relationships. And it's alright to have a
strong opinion once in a while. But no matter what the little
disagreement is about or however angry or upset either of you
are, make up as soon as you can.
And that means no wasting time on huffing, puffing or
whining. You may be really angry, but learn to hold your
partner's hand and say "hey, I'm sorry we had a fight. Can we
forget about it/talk about it some other time?"
What would work even better is a warm hug after a
disagreement. Always understand that no matter what the
differences are, both of you are in love each other. So
whatever the issue, end it soon or talk about it when the
tension isn't so thick.

•Step 3 Be willing to apologize
At times, you may just not want to apologize. You may be
convinced that it's not your fault and you don't see any reason
in humiliating yourself by offering an apology.
But that's where you're wrong.
What are you trying to prove after a fight? That you're right
and your partner is wrong? Why? Why do you have to show
off that you're right? Does it even matter who's wrong or
right when your lover is sad and upset?
In a relationship, there are no winners or losers. There are just
happy couples or unhappy ones. If you want to know how to
be happy in a relationship, learn to swallow your pride and
apologize even if it's not your fault. It's for the sake of your
relationship. Egos destroy relationships and both partners have
to learn to apologize to each other even if it's not their own
fault.
Get rid of the ego and you'll see how successful and happy
your relationship can be.

•Step 4 Learn to forgive
To err is human… and you know the rest of that quote. All of
us make mistakes. In a happy relationship, both partners must
learn to forgive each other.
It may be a petty mistake or even a huge one, but if you are
willing to give your relationship a chance, learn to forgive,
forget and move on. Unless, of course, your partner repeats
the same act again, which would only mean your partner
doesn't love you or respect you enough to care about your
feelings.
Unless it's adultery or something just as heartbreaking, voice
your opinion and forgive your partner. Holding grudges has
never helped any relationship, and it never will.

•Step 5 Respect each other as individuals
Your partner and you may truly love each other, but that
doesn't complete the recipe for a happy relationship. Do you
respect your partner and trust them in your time of need?
Respecting each other is important for the success and
happiness in any relationship. You may think your girlfriend
is a hottie or you may know that your man's a brawny hunk.
But unless you respect them for their intellectuality and their
personality, they're nothing but your arm candy.
When you respect your lover, it shows that you trust them and
can look to them for advice and help when it comes to making
important decisions in the relationship. And the mutual
respect that both of you share will bring more confidence into
each other and happiness into your relationship.

•Step 6 Look good in each other's arms
The secret to knowing how to be happy in a relationship isn't
just about each other's intellectual strength and the ability to
compromise for the good of the relationship. Sometimes,
happiness and fun in love comes from the desire to want each
other.
Does your partner sexually excite you? Do you still excite
your partner? Or have either of you put on a lot of weight or
started dressing down and forgotten to clean yourselves up
because it just doesn't matter anymore?
For a relationship to be full of excitement and happiness, learn
to never take each other for granted. Always try to impress
your lover like you would if it was the first few weeks of the
relationship.
Work out, dress well and look good. Win the admiration of
your lover and the people around you and your partner will be
attracted to you and will desire you more, even if you've been
together for several years.

•Step 7 Have an exciting sex life
Sex is pretty important in a happy relationship. In almost all
relationships, it always starts off with sex every night and
starts dwindling down to a few times a week after a few years
and eventually, having sex once in a few weeks becomes a
luxury.
But does that seem right?
If you met a crush you sexually desire or end up having an
affair with someone else, wouldn't you be banging the bed
every night like a horse on heat? You do know that the sexual
desire and the fire is within you, so do something about it!
You may be bored of seeing the same body parts all the time
for years on end. But there are always ways to bring the
excitement back into bed. Having an exciting and satisfying
sex life is pretty important in understanding how to be happy
in a relationship. Discuss about your sexual interests with
each other and learn to innovate as both of you grow together.
And if you do have a few sexually deviant ideas, talk about it.
At the end of the day, love and sex are as unique as the couple
in love itself. So stop worrying about what's taboo and what's
not. As long as both of you love it and it doesn't bother the
people around you, who cares!

Use these seven simple steps on how to be happy in a
relationship and you'll see how simple it can be to
experience happiness in your love life for the rest of your
lives.

JOKE: A LITTLE VOICE

A man was mowing his lawn when he
heard his neighbor, who happened to
be a blonde, come out of her house.
She opened her mailbox, looked inside
and slammed it shut. She stomped her
foot and went back inside. The man
thought ''how weird.''
A few minutes passed and sure
enough, the blonde came out of her
house again, checked her mail box,
stamped her foot and went back inside.
The man stopped mowing and checked
her mailbox to see what was so wrong
with it. After seeing nothing, he went
back to mowing just shrugging his
shoulders.
As soon as he heard her coming out
again, he shut off his mowing machine
and went up to her. ''What in the world
are you doing, coming out here every
five minutes?''
The blonde looked up at the man and
said, ''Well, you see, there's this little
voice in my house that keeps on
saying, 'You've got mail,' but when I
come out here to check, I don't have
any.''

JOKE: MISGUIDED

A group of hikers were being led
through the wilderness by a guide. On
the third day, the hikers noticed that
they had been traveling in circles.
''We're lost!'' One of the hikers
complained.
''And you said you were the best guide
in the United States.''
''I am,'' the guide answered, '' but I
think we may have wandered into
Canada.''

JOKE: GASSY GRANNY

An old lady goes to the doctor and
says, "I have this problem with
frequent gas. Fortunately, the farts
never smell and are always silent. As a
matter of fact, I've farted at least 10
times since I've been here, and I bet
you didn't even notice!"
The doctor says, "I see. Take these
pills and come back next week."
The next week the old lady returns.
"Doctor," she says, "I don't know what
the hell you gave me, but now my
silent farts stink like the dickens."
The doctor says, "Good! Now that
we've cleared up your sinuses, let's
work on your hearing."

phone was talking me through everything, what to do and to get towels
and things.
'She was saying "are you sure it's a head?". I said yes I'm sure, it's
got hair on it.

I was never beaten up – Jide Kosoko

Jide Kosoko

Earlier in the week, the news about town was that veteran actor, Jide Kosoko was assaulted and beaten by video club owners. But the actor, in a telephone chat with Saturday Beats, said he was never beaten.

Kosoko, who was reluctant to talk about the incident as it was against his principle to grant t elephone interview however said it was impossible for anybody to beat him up.

"I was never beaten up. I am a member of the board of trustees of the Video Rental Operators of Nigeria and there was a crisis in the association. I was there to mediate and find way to resolve the crisis. While that was happening, there was a fracas with the video club owners as they began fighting one another. Someone threw a plastic bottled water and it hit me in the eye. That was it," he said.

Confirming what her father said, Sola Kosoko said it was impossible for anybody to beat her father up.

‘Skelewu’ saga: Davido, director blast critics

After dropping two music videos and one instructional dance video, Davido's "Skelewu" is still the talk of the town. This is not because it's one of Nigeria's biggest pop songs of the year but simply because of it's multiple videos.

*Davido

Davido

During the week, Davido tried to dispel the criticisms trailing the video on his  Twitter account. He wasn't the only person who has reacted to the criticisms. The director of the final video, Moe Musa has also reacted. Overwhelmed by critique on Twitter when the video dropped last Monday, Musa  tweeted, " Love  it or hate it, it's your issue not mine… All you haters out there are full of s**t, lol. "

Before now, reports said, Davido was not pleased with what Moe Musa shot in the UK for his hit single and planned to shoot another video with Clarence Peters".

He was said to have already paid Clarence Peters the sum of N7million to shoot a perfect video for him.

US Moves to Free Citizens Abducted off Nigeria's Coast

020813N.Marie-Harf.jpg - 020813N.Marie-Harf.jpg

Marie Harf, US State Department spokeswoman

The United States Chief of Mission Security at its mission in Nigeria has commenced investigation into the abduction of two of its nationals aboard an oil supply vessel on Wednesday by pirates off Nigerian coast, near Brass, Bayelsa State.

The US State Department spokeswoman, Marie Harf, disclosed this yesterday during a daily press briefing in Washington DC.
Harf expressed deep concern over the abduction of the two Americans and said that the United States government was closely monitoring the situation.

Said Harf: "Obviously, our concern at this point is for the safe return of the two US citizens. The Chief of Mission Security at our mission in Nigeria is investigating the kidnapping report. We do believe that this was an act of piracy. Again, we are continuing to seek additional information and for privacy reasons can't provide any additional information about the two U.S. citizens."

Pirates had on Wednesday snatched the two American nationals off an oil-supply vessel in the latest incident of high-seas terror that has plagued the Gulf of Guinea region.

Reports indicate that vessels carrying cargo and petroleum in the oil-rich region have recently come become prime targets of the pirates. The vessel, C-Retriever was said to be carrying supplies to offshore oil rigs when pirates boarded and took the two Americans.

The United States has also refused to designate the kidnap as an "act of terrorism. The U.S. State Department spokeswoman said that it was closely monitoring the situation with the hope of resolving it soon but that it did not believe it was an act of terrorism.

While responding to questions on the department's knowledge of the incident, Harf said: "Yeah, a little bit on this. Thanks for the question. We're obviously closely monitoring reports that two U.S. citizens have been kidnapped from a U.S.-flagged vessel.

"It's a motor vessel, the C-Retriever, in the Gulf of Guinea. We are seeking additional information about the incident so that we may contribute to safely resolving the situation.

"They (U.S. sailors) were certainly on board the U.S.-flagged vessel called the C-Retriever. I don't have any additional information about that...correct. Yes, that at this point, we do not have information that would indicate this was an act of terrorism. More broadly, we have been concerned by a disturbing increase of maritime crime, including piracy, in this area. So, I think at this point, that's certainly what we're operating under."

Asked about the options the U.S. might adopt, either specifically for its two nationals or more on the long-term basis to address piracy in the region, Harf said: "At this point, we're still looking into it.
Obviously, our concern is their safe return. We are concerned by this increase.

"We've worked and will continue to work with states on the Gulf of Guinea to help them respond effectively to maritime crime in these waters. We coordinate with our international partners on this. I know U.S. Africa Command has been working through partner nations to help increase their capacity to meet the piracy threat through a number of different programmes. I think two of them are the Africa Maritime Law Enforcement Programme and the Africa Partnership Station."

She however failed to indicate if the department or any of US officials have established contacts with the kidnapped nationals.
The 220-foot-long vessel is reported to be owned by Edison Chouest Offshore which is based in Louisiana.

The abduction of the American sailors is coming on the heels of report that pirate attacks off Nigeria's coast have jumped by a third this year with ships passing through West Africa's Gulf of Guinea, a major commodities hub, increasingly under threat from gangs aiming to snatch cargoes and crews.
Data from the International Maritime Bureau (IMB) which co-ordinates the fight against maritime crime and malpractice world wide, showed that Nigeria remained the main source of piracy in the region with 29 attacks on vessels recorded in the first nine months of 2013, up from 21 in the same period last year.

"Pirates, often heavily armed and violent, are targeting vessels and their crews along the Nigerian coast, rivers, anchorages, ports and surrounding waters. In many cases, they ransack the vessels and steal the cargo, usually gas oil," Reuters quoted the IMB as reporting.

Analysts say while Somali gangs have focused on capturing vessels to extract ransom money, criminality in West Africa, including oil theft, poses more complex problems.

The IMB said in the first nine months of 2013, the Gulf of Guinea accounted for all crew kidnappings worldwide, 32 of them off Nigeria, and two off Togo. "In such incidents, sailors are taken ashore and usually held for ransom."
Despite the jump in West Africa, overall global pirate attacks fell in the period to the lowest level since 2006, helped by a slowdown in attacks by Somali groups.

EFCC quizzes NCAA directors, staff

EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde

EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde

A team of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has commenced investigation into the N255m bullet-proof  cars scandal rocking the Ministry of Aviation.

A top operative of the anti-graft agency, who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity in Abuja on Thursday, said that the EFCC commenced investigation into the scandal on Wednesday.

This is happening as the Federal Government is intensifying efforts to unmask those that leaked the documents on the purchase of two BMW armoured cars at an allegedly inflated price of N255m for the Aviation Minister, Ms Stella Oduah.

Saturday PUNCH learnt that the Federal Government had summoned all the heads of the agencies in the Ministry of Aviation to Abuja on Monday.

The source said a team of EFCC investigators from the Abuja office of the commission was under instruction to ensure  a discreet investigation into the scandal.

It was learnt that some of the directors in strategic positions in the commission had been quizzed by the EFCC.

It was learnt that the hunt for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority official who leaked the story of the purchase to the public had also heightened tension in other agencies and parastatals under the ministry as workers were being quizzed by the management of these agencies.  Investigations by Saturday PUNCH showed that the Aviation Ministry had been mounting pressure on the NCAA to fish out the whistleblower.

Our correspondent, who visited the Lagos office of the NCAA, also learnt that the staff members had been infiltrated by members of the State Security Service, prompting suspicion among the workers.  The workers said they had been warned not to talk to journalists or any stranger on the issue.

It was also learnt that that members of staff from various cadres were randomly quizzed by senior management officials over the leaked documents.

Our correspondent gathered that the Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria,  Mr. George Uriesi, the Director General, Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, Mr. Nnamdi Udoh,  and the Director-General, NCAA, Capt. Fola Akinkuotu, were summoned to Abuja on Monday and  were still in Abuja as at the time of filing this report.

Employees at the ministry hardly speak on issues touching the car scandal for fear of not being victimised or fingered as the possible sources of the leak.

Akinkuotu had stated that the agency would investigate the source of the leak, stressing that the information was released to the public illegally.

Akinkuotu's comment came after an online medium, SaharaReporters, revealed that the agency spent a whopping N255m on two BMW cars for the aviation minister.

The development had since sparked criticisms and protests in the country.

A senior personnel at the NCAA, who pleaded anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the issue, told our correspondent that the investigation might start with the directors, who were still in Abuja. "They were invited as part of the investigation into unravelling the source of the leak of the information on the cars,'' the official said.

The official added, "The investigation has already commenced and it has intensified because our directors, especially those whose offices were affected, have been invited to Abuja. They will be there till the conclusion of the public hearing on this issue by the National Assembly."

Another official at the agency said the investigation had started in earnest although no worker had been threatened by the management.

The source said, "The investigation is on. They (management) don't need to let the workers know. But the DG said it and I don't think he was kidding. There is fear that innocent persons might fall victim and that is why we want the investigators to do a thorough job on this issue."

On Thursday, our correspondent contacted the Head of Media and Communications of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujanren, whose response confirmed the ongoing EFCC investigations into what has been termed 'Oduahgate'.

Uwujanren said that he would not say anything about the EFCC investigation into the issue as it would be premature to do so.

"I cannot make any comment on the ongoing investigation because it would be premature to do so," he said.

Also when contacted, the spokesperson for the aviation agencies in the ministry, Mr. Yakubu Dati, said what the NCAA boss said as regards plans to investigate the source of the leak was binding.

Dati, however, stated that threats of mass sack in the NCAA or the ministry were rumours.

He said, "I cannot respond to rumours and I don't react to speculations. If there is anything that needs to be said, it has been said by the DG NCAA."

The DG, while explaining why the agency bought the vehicles at a press briefing in Abuja, had said, "I am not saying that this particular information should not be put in the public domain. But how it was obtained is the concern. If somebody breaks into an office and makes copies of official documents, then the break-in has become criminal.

"So we are in the process of trying to find the source of this leak and I am very concerned about it. Because this information may look trivial but there are other information that we have that are confidential and it is only fair for us to respect the confidentiality of information. I am not saying that they broke into our office, but they obtained the information illegally."

Akinkuotu said he was stunned to see the documents in the open, stressing that the information were leaked illegally.

He said he was "shell shocked that government information and particularly information from the civil aviation authority has gotten into public purview in an illegal manner. It is criminal! However, what has been done has been done, but I think when such information is gotten, you should have come to the agency to ask. We are not shy to take your questions."

In Lagos, there was palpable tension within the premises of NCAA. Members of staff of the agency looked uncomfortable when our correspondent went there on Thursday.  Some of them wondered why so many Nigerians were interested in the issue.

Saturday PUNCH learnt that although there were no fixed rules guiding the current probe, workers in the audit and accounts departments had especially been jittery over the development.

One of the staff members who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity expressed fears that some people not connected to the issue might lose their jobs.

The worker said, "There is general unease in the system, people are working in fear because we hear all those found guilty will be sacked and in matters like this, some innocent people could suffer for what they know nothing about.

"I think the issue is being blown out of proportion, and we guess that other similar issues in the past would be dug-up and more people may be in trouble."

Another worker said, "Well, we have been verbally warned about saying things anyhow to people, because we do not know the tactics they might employ in trying to trap anyone, so, I don't want to say anything that might land me in trouble.

"We hear that those quizzed are being asked not to tell others and that SSS officials are all over the place here, but I can't say."

When our correspondent tried to gain entry into the NCAA office on different occasions, she was denied entrance by some security operatives at the gate.

"You are from the press? We have not been informed of any press meeting here, and there are no cars here for inspection, you can go to Abuja for more information," one of them told our correspondent. However, there was no name tag attached to the operative's uniform.

The spokesperson of the NCAA, Mr. Fan Ndubuike, told our correspondent over the phone that he could not answer any questions on the issue.

"Listen to me, my boss cannot be facing enquiries in Abuja in the House while you people would also be quizzing me here on the same issue. You should watch the television, it is ongoing or you tell your guys in Abuja to monitor the issue," he said.

Meanwhile, workers of the ministry of aviation have called on the government to do a thorough investigation of the scandal. They expressed worry that the development had increased suspicion in the agencies affected.

According to them, people were becoming apprehensive to speak to colleagues on the issue.

A worker at the ministry said, "You can't comfortably speak with your colleague not to talk of speaking with a press man on the scandal, there is tension everywhere please."

Massive Onslaught against Boko Haram in Borno, Yobe

Nigerian-soldiers-patrol-25.jpg - Nigerian-soldiers-patrol-25.jpg        The Nigerian Army on Thursday launched a massive air and ground onslaught against Boko Haram in Borno killing 74 insurgents and destroying the deadly sect's camp in Galangi and Kawanti villages

But in neighbouring Yobe State, members of the sect launched surprise attacks on Damaturu, the state capital, and engaged the military in gun duels for several hours, forcing the imposition of 24 hour curfew on the state by the Army.
The military confirmed that 21 members of the sect were killed in Yobe, bringing the total number of casualties suffered by the sect in both states to 95.

The spokesman of 3 Division, Special Operation Battalion, Capt. Eli Lazarus, in a statement said: "At about 5.30pm Wednesday 24, October 2013, gunmen in large number suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists attacked a military checkpoint close to NNPC Mega Station along Maiduguri-Damaturu Road. Troops of 3 Division Special Operation Battalion had fierce encounter with the terrorist in various parts of Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, for several hours.

"Twenty one of the terrorist were killed during the encounter while three of their vehicles were recovered."

He said items recovered include four AK47 rifles, one FN rifle, one rocket propel grenade, and one rocket grenade bomb (RPG).
Spokesman for the division, who said this in a statement, added that the 24-hour curfew took immediate effect.

"The 3 Division Special Operations Battalion, Damaturu, hereby imposes a 24-hour curfew across Yobe State, with immediate effect. Law-abiding citizens are enjoined to remain calm as the battalion steps up its operation to rid the state of insurgents", he said.

Lazarus did however not give civilian casualties in the attack on the town, but residents said about 50 persons might have lost their lives in the attacks.

Though the spokesman of the Army in Damaturu was also silent on the extent of damage, sources said that the mobile police base, the police Area Command, the state CID, all along Gujba road, were burnt down and some detainees freed.
Reports also indicate that the 234 Army Battalion along Maiduguri road was equally attacked by the insurgents.

There were reports that the insurgents went to Gen. Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital and carted away two brand new ambulances and huge quantity of drugs at the hospital.
There were also speculation that the Army and other security agencies recorded high casualties including a captain.

On the onslaught against the sect in Borno, a statement by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations of the 7 Division Maiduguri, Lt. Col. Muhammad Dole, said: "In continuation of the ongoing offensive operation against terrorists, the troops of 7 Division Nigerian Army destroyed another Boko Haram terrorists camp in Galangi and Kawanti villages within Mainok general area of Borno State on Thursday October 24, 2013."

Dole said several sect members fled the destroyed camp with serious injuries, while two Isuzu Tiger Pick Up vehicles and five Hilux Toyota vans belonging to the insurgents were also destroyed.

While noting that two soldiers were injured in the operation, Dole, expressed appreciation of the General Officer Commanding 7 Division Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. Obidah Ethan, to the general public for their resilience and cooperation by providing timely and credible information to security agencies.

He also reiterated the commitment of the Division to ensuring safety of lives and properties of all citizens within its area of operation.

Also last night, unknown gunmen suspected be members of Boko Haram attacked a police checkpoint in Kaduna and shot three policemen. Details of the attack were still sketchy at the time of going to press.

Kim and Kanye will have a pre-nup

Kim and Kanye will have a prenuptial agreement before they marry.

From TMZ
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have already agreed ... they will keep their assets separate by drawing up a prenup before they tie the knot ... TMZ has learned.
Multiple sources connected with the couple tell us ... both Kanye and Kim are committed to the marriage and they are not signing a prenup because they're worried the relationship might fall apart. But they're both business people and know given their vast wealth it's just the smart thing to do to have a prenup.
Kim especially understands the importance of a prenup because her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, told her over and over about the necessity of having clear contracts when it came to money.
We're also told ... even though they will keep their assets separate, they will have a fat joint account for living expenses that will probably approach the gross national product of a small country.
As for how much they have ... some reports place Kim's wealth at $40 mil and Kanye's at $90 mil. But we're told Kim's actually worth more than Kanye.

Hater and Losers' - Written by Charly Boy

Another interesting piece by Charly Boy. Enjoy...
The other day I was at the departure hall at Nnamdi
Azikewe airport waiting for my flight. I was tucked away
at a corner, from people's preying eyes, at least so I
thought. My flight was delayed so I had about 2hrs to kill.
As I reached into my backpack to get my iPad and keep
myself busy till boarding time, a man with two teen girls
approached me; they were all beaming with the most
enchanting smiles I have ever seen. "Charly these are my
daughters, they've been worrying me that they want to
take pictures with you" I obliged, as their father took
position to capture a golden moment for his two teen
daughters.
Before anyone could say Charly, the boy in me jumped
out. There I was clowning around, making funny faces, as
the girls caught the monkeying around bug. And to
everyone's entertainment and amusement, we turned the
whole departure hall into a photo studio and a runway,
hummm! Oh boy come and see. All of a sudden most of
the waiting passengers, teens, youths, mums and dads
started to lineup for their own Kodak moments. Na who
find trouble now?
It is always at times like this that I feel special and loved, and
all I want to do is give back that love to all the people
showing me warmth. Not too far from where I was displaying
and forming model tins, from the corner of my eye, I caught a
young man probably in his late 30s giving me some very dirty
look. I don't think it was his frustration that got his face
twisted with those hating eyes that kept piercing my smooth
baby skin. Kai!!! If looks could kill, I would have been dead
ten times over, no be small tin. You don't need to be psychic
to know that the man is not a CharlyBoy lover, but a hater.
Yesoooooooo! I may not be James Bond 007, but I
assassinated that hater with my smile.
A hater is someone that just can't stand you, usually your
success. They hate you for who you are. They are merchants
of gossip and all malicious stories about you. They even like
to recruit members into their haters club; on the Internet they
hold sway. Haters hate you for your accomplishments,
youthfulness, attractiveness, popularity, but guess what? Most
of the time they don't even know why they hate on you. Some
haters come from the lowest social ladder, they are as green
and as ignorant as they come, I swear. These "winche" people
are everywhere. For haters, hate is the only way they can cope
and go on with their lives. They usually suffer some insecurity
or inadequacies.
If you are on top your game, you must have haters, no
escaping. I rather have real haters than fake fans. It is
important to be mature in dealing with these prematures'.
Being able to sift through people's envy and bad intention
towards you for the valuable truth in their criticism is often a
key to being great and surviving people's bad belle and
nonsensical jargon. As my head kept playing back some very
famous haters in my life and how they chopped all the bull
shit and the shenanigans I dished out. A beautiful middle aged
woman came to sit by my side. I have been watching you, she
said. "How do you manage with people swooping all over you
like that" referring to the short drama that just took place. "I
read your articles on Linda's blog all the time, most of all I
admire your courage in being your authentic self, how did you
build such a thick skin."
If I walk tall, how is that my fault? I live my life the way I
please, how is that supposed to affect anybody's peace.
Shame if they think I care, shame if they think I would flair. I
no send dem atall atall. Free Me!!!
Haters are usually people with little social consequence to
you. See dem, yahoo boys with no laptop. They are
validation that you are a big deal. The more successful you
are, the stronger, the more opinionated, I tell you, and the less
you will be generally liked. But Hey! Cut yourself a slack and
ignore haters.
Instead, focus on turning people who like your dream to
people who love your dream. I have noticed that the average
or the ordinary don't get bothered by haters, only outstanding
people, "weird" people, crazy people, unusual people, in
short, people who don't stand up never get stoned at.
Haters hate either because they don't understand or they can't
imitate. Little do they know that their hating is their sincerest
form of flattery. Haters only hate things they can't get or
people they can't be. For me sha! I don't have time for haters,
I have ignored
Haters, all my life I just keep doing what I do best, treating
others with love and respect always. So! Don't waste your
time with this silly hating game! Because dem no see you
dem no send you.

#DumbDumber: Mum almost ‘pulls off son’s genitals’ in rage before trying to repair the damage with SUPERGLUE

A mum has been arrested for nearly pulling off her six-
year-old son's genitals in a fit of rage, before trying to
repair the injury with superglue.
The Houston Chronicle reports the FBI have charged
Jennifer Marie Vargas with assault resulting in serious
bodily injury following the alleged assault on the Joint
Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, where his father is
based with the army.
If convicted Vargas, 34, faces up to 10 years in jail.
Court documents say the little boy's father came home
from work on September 27 to find his son crying, and
saw a bloody tissue in his underwear and a "severe injury"
to his scrotum.
He took his son to the San Antonio Medical Centre, where
doctors found a 4cm-long cut to the youngster's scrotum
as well as bruising to his genitals, and he was given pain
medication before being taken into surgery to repair the
damage.
Vargas is reported to have admitted to authorities that she
grabbed her son by the scrotum because she was angry,
before pulling him towards her with force.
She is said to have told the FBI she used alcohol to clean
the wound before trying to fix it with superglue, stuffing
his underwear with paper towels and sending him to bed.
A magistrate ordered Vargas to be remanded in custody
ahead of a bail hearing on Monday.
The child is recovering from surgery and is being looked
after by his father.

It’s my first time’: Sex attacker says after failing to rape woman due to drunken impotence (PICTURED)

Monster: Jealous Khalid Abdullah, 35, grabbed his victim
as she walked to work at 5:30 am. He apologised after he
couldn't carry out the rape
A sex attacker who failed in the knifepoint rape of a
woman because of his drunken impotence apologised to
her and said 'it's my first time'.
Sudan-born Khalid Abdullah cornered a stranger in an
alley and held a blade to her neck in a jealousy fuelled
assault, sparked by seeing his own girlfriend with another
man.
The victim had been walking to work at 5:30am when
Abdullah launched the terrifying attack in April this year.
He told the woman, in her 30s, that he 'needed sex' before
putting his hand over her mouth and telling her to keep
quiet.
But Abdullah, 35, was unable to carry out the rape and
told her: 'It's my first time, I'm sorry.'
He offered the terrified woman his phone and said: 'Call
the police, you can call the police, call the police now.'
The woman fled but Abdullah caught her and told her he
'wanted to kill all women' after catching his girlfriend
being unfaithful.
She managed to reach her home in Peterborough, and
raised the alarm. Abdullah was later identified through
CCTV.
He was convicted of attempted rape after a week-long trial
at Peterborough Crown Court.
Judge Nic Madge jailed him for eight years and described
the attack as 'every woman's worst nightmare'.
He told him: 'Whether due to the amount you had drunk
or for some other reason, you were not successful in
having sexual intercourse, clearly that was your intention.
'You did not succeed in penetrating her and she did not
suffer any physical injuries, but this was an absolutely
terrifying experience.
'It was every woman's worst nightmare. The victim was
terrified because of your anger and unpredictability.'
Detective Constable Louise Spinks said: 'Abdullah is
clearly a dangerous individual and we are pleased he is
now behind bars for a significant period of time.'
Sentence: Judge Nic Madge jailed Abdullah for eight
years describing the attack as 'every woman¿s worst

Maheeda (finally) posts picture of her nipple on Instagram

Posting nude photos on social networks is just like getting
high (and I'm not talking alcohol).
You always have to do more than your last attempt to get
the right kind of reaction…
For weeks now, Pop singer (not sure if she sings anymore)
Maheeda has been posting semi-nude photos and video of
her simulating sex on Instagram, we written about it,
bloggers have blogged, she's even got a Saturday celebrity
interview on Bella Naija.
But just like doing drugs, Maheeda doesn't seem to be
satisfied, she needs more 'reaction'.
So, we're not entirely surprised she's posted a photo of her
right bare breast on Instagram. Thanks Maheeda, like we
advised before it's better to get your boobs monogrammed
than Instagrammed.

There was an old couple who hadn't

so they decided to dress up and go out.
The old woman went in her bedroom,
stripped naked, and tied a string

end of the string. When she walked out
of the room her husband yelled, "You

"I can go out as whatever I want and
so can you!"
The man agreed and went into his
room. Soon he came out naked with a
string tied to his penis and a potato at
the end of the string.
The woman said, "You're going out as
that?"

Robin Thicke Talks About Father Alan, Nudity And His Wife Playing A 'Groupie'

Robin Thicke is a man who needs no
introduction, especially not in 2013. His catchy
song "Blurred Lines," as well as its X-rated
music video, were the talk of the town all
summer. Elle sat down with Thicke for the
magazine's November issue to talk about
himself, his tunes, his gorgeous wife Paula
Patton and the man who made it all possible --
his famous father, Alan Thicke.

"My dad was single my whole pubescent period.
[Laughs] He had Ms. Alabama, Ms. Dominican
Republic -- every week," Thicke tells Elle. "I
was like, 'Dang, Pops.' He had an indoor
Jacuzzi, and he frequented it. The first time I
saw a naked woman was when I went to take a
shower one morning before school. I was like,

'Who is this girl in my shower?'"
So how did Thicke Sr.'s womanizing ways shape
the man Robin has become? "We were on
vacation and some pretty girl walked by. I
started ogling her like a 12-year-old boy, and he
said, 'I know she's pretty, but you stared at her
and followed her across the room. What if
there's a prettier girl sitting two tables away?

Now she's not going to feel special. She'll say,
"You look at all the girls like that." You've gotta
play it cool so you don't look like you're
desperate.'"
But desperate Thicke was not, since he managed
to land smokin' hot actress Paula Patton and
make her his wife (the two have been together
since they were 14!). Thicke says they are still
madly in love. "I like to take her out to a fancy,
six-course meal that lasts three hours and stare
into her eyes. Of course it's a little schmaltzy.
There's nothing women love more than an effort.
You can even mess it up. The shoes that you
bought don't have to be right. You might have
gotten the wrong chocolates. But she'll know if
you made an effort."

When asked if the two of them listen to his
music in the bedroom, Thicke admits: "Yes. In
fact, she likes to do it more than ever now.
Sometimes she'll even play groupie for me."

Umm, TMI?

Katy Perry Kept Taylor Swift's And Miley Cyrus' Hair In Her Purse

Katy Perry shared a very odd secret involving Taylor Swift and Miley
Cyrus Tuesday night: She kept locks of their hair in her handbag.

On Oct. 22, the pop star sat down with Mario Lopez at the iHeartRadio
Theater in Burbank, Calif., for a release party for her new album,
"Prism." During a Q&A portion, a fan asked her what she keeps in her
purse, Us Weekly noted.

"One of the first times I went to the Grammys, I got to share a
dressing room with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift," she said. "And I
asked for a lock of their hair from each one of them, which is totally
creepy, but awesome."

Via: Aol

"I put little bows on them individually and put them in my purse. And
that was my little secret and I'm a freak!" Perry added, via E! News.

It's likely this all went down at the 2009 Grammys, the year Perry
scored her first nomination for "I Kissed A Girl." It might not have
been totally crazy for her to ask for something so personal from Swift
and Cyrus. After all, the three did look pretty chummy at the "Salute
To Industry Icons" dinner (just look at the photo above).

It's been a while since then, but earlier this year, Cyrus tweeted at
the 28-year-old to let her know she's thinking about her.

Man caught with human leg in Bauchi, escapes lynching by mob

A man found with a human leg in Bauchi State was rescued by the
whiskers from being killed by an angry mob after police officers came
to his aid.
The middle aged man was discovered to be in possession of the
amputated body part, which belonged to his father, in Gudun village,
Bauchi Local Government Area of the state.
The mob not knowing the circumstances surrounding the man being in
possession of the leg attacked him with the intention of lynching him
until police officers swooped in.

Vanguard reports:

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, said
that Police initially arrested a man (names withheld) with a human leg
in Bauchi.

He added that after investigation, it was discovered that the leg
belonged to his father, which was amputated in the hospital because of
an illness.

Mohammed said: "The hospital gave him the amputated leg to go and
bury. As a stranger, he pleaded with an Okada rider to take him to the
outskirt of the town where he will dispose of it.

"Unfortunately for him, the motorcycle rider took him to Gudun village
and alerted the public. The enraged mob took laws in their hands and
started beating him before he was rescued by the police."

He added that after he was rescued, the Police took his statement and
paid a visit to the hospital, where they met his father whose leg was
amputated.

He said: "The father of the man gave us the same story and we feel
there is nothing incriminating against the suspect.

"We released him and he was admitted in the hospital because of the
beating the villagers gave him."

999 call handler sacked 'after making light-hearted joke with man who made heart-wrenching decision to report family member for drink-driving'

A 999 operator who 'laughed and
sniggered' throughout a call from a man
reporting that a suspected drink-driver
may have been involved in a hit-and-run
has been sacked for gross misconduct.
Sue Heeney failed to 'grasp the
seriousness of the situation' after joking
with the caller when he made a mistake
while giving her the registration of the
car.
As a result, she graded the call with the
incorrect heading 'suspicious
circumstances' rather than 'non-stop road
traffic collision'.
A disciplinary hearing was told that she
'got the giggles' and from then on 'failed
to deal with the conversation in a sober
and professional manner'.
Miss Heeney, 38, who worked for Essex
Police, had been told by the caller that the suspected drink-
driver may have been involved in a hit-and-run accident.
But she did not take immediate steps to start an investigation
or gather evidence that could have helped with the search for
the suspect or victims.
It was only when a dispatcher realised the seriousness of the
incident that more immediate action was taken.
The adjudicator said: 'It is extremely fortunate that the
dispatcher who picked up this incident, reviewed and
reassessed its nature and urgency and took effective action.'
The driver in question was later found to have been involved
in two collisions that evening and failed to stop at both of
them.
One of the victims was a cyclist who was lucky to escape
serious injury, it was heard.

Birth Place : East Harlem, New York, USA
Type: Signed Artist
Genre: HipHop

Now" (1991)

Brief Profile
Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971-September 13, 1996),
also known by his stage names, Makaveli and 2Pac, was an
American hip-hop artist, poet and actor. He is listed in the
Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling rap/hip-
hop artist ever, having sold over 75 million albums
worldwide, including 44.5 million sales in the United States
alone. He has had 17 top ten singles in the United States.

Historical Background
A highly celebrated actor and rapper, the late
Tupac Amaru Shakur was born Lesane Parish
Crooks in Brooklyn, New York City, on June
16, 1971, to Afeni Shakur, a member of the
Black Panthers. Serving jail time on bombing
charges while pregnant with Tupac, she faced a
possible sentence of up to three hundred years
in prison, but was released one month before
Tupac was born as she acted as her own
attorney. About his biological father Tupac
said, "I never knew where my father was or
who my father was for sure." His step father
Metulu, to his knowing, was a drug dealer and
was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List, whom
he said was not always around to give him the
discipline he needed. Impoverished during
most of his childhood, Afeni took him and his
half-sister Sekyiwa moving around to homeless
shelters and various places around New York
City. Such condition caused Tupac retained
few friends and relied on writing poetry and
diary entries to keep himself busy. At the age
of 12 he joined a Harlem theatre group and
acted as Travis in Lorraine Hansberry's "A
Raisin in the Sun." One year later, in 1984
Tupac's ...
mother brought him and his sister to live in
Baltimore, Maryland, and lived in the infamous
neighborhood, Roland Park, in East Baltimore
where Tupac was intensely despised because of
his looks, name, and lack of trendy
fashionwear of the 80s. Even so he made a few
friends while staying there and attended Roland
Park Middle School. The following years he
spent his time studied at Paul Lawrence Dunbar
High, where for his sophomore year he was
accepted to the Baltimore School for the Arts.
It was there where Tupac for the very first time
in his life "loved his classes" and had the
opportunity to study theater, ballet, and other
arts.
Nurturing his love to literature from his peers,
Tupac gained the respect of Baltimore kids by
acting like a tough guy and tried to write his
first rap there under the name "MC New York."
The song was about gun control and was
inspired by the killing of one of his close
friends. Two years later, his mother Afeni
found it difficult to get a job, which he
personally assumed as a result of her active
involvement in Black Panthers, that she once
again moved the family to live with a family
friend in Marin City, California.
There Tupac soon moved in with a neighbor
and started selling drugs and hustling on the
street, but also made friends who helped spark
his interest in rap music. He made friends with
Ray Luv, and with a mutual friend named DJ
Dize, with both he started a rap group called
Strictly Dope. Their recordings under the name
"Tupac Shakur: The Lost Tapes" were released
in 2001 and was immediately followed by
neighborhood performances that obviously
brought Tupac the more than enough applaud
to land an audition with Shock G of Digital
Underground. Supported by the group'
members, in 1990 he began his career as a back
up dancer for Digital Underground, a Northern
California rap group best known for their P-
Funk inspired sex songs. In the near future,
Tupac began rapping with the group before he
at the end left it to pursue a solo career and
released his EP "Digital Undreground" debut,
after which he signed to Interscope Records
and released his first solo album entitled
"2Pacalypse Now" in 1991. This album quickly
made Tupac the most controversial rapper in
hip-hop as he got a public admonishment by
Vice President ...
Dan Quayle for his music had clearly
encouraged and or caused the shooting of a
Texas police officer. Moreover, the album also
set the tone for the singer's soon-to-be platinum
formula: a mix of hardcore, gun toting,
misogynist, Thug Life anthems, and a tender,
caring, troubled side that exposed the light side
of Tupac's darker image.
Even so, "2Pacalypse Now" album had quickly
went gold thanks to the hit singles "Trapped"
and "Brenda's Got a Baby," as well as a high-
profile, seemingly self-portraying appearance
Tupac did in "Juice," a hit movie that opened to
gunfire in theaters and censorship of the movie
poster. To support his fame, in 1993 Tupac
outed his follow up album to the previous one
titled "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.," which was
a hardcore masterpiece that responded to the
controversies surrounding him and featured
appearances by the other two most
controversial West Coast rappers, Ice-T and Ice
Cube. Just like the first, this album was also
very success and became a platinum, peaking
at number four on the R&B charts and
launching the Top Ten R&B hit singles "I Get
Around" and "Keep Ya Head Up," which
peaked at number 11 and 12, respectively, on
the pop charts. That same year, the singer also co-
stared with Janet Jackson in John Singleton's
"Poetic Justice," which further increasing his
celebrity, and performed in "Above The Rim,"
a basketball movie with a soundtrack produced
by former N.W.A. rapper, and current A-list
rap producer Dr. Dre. Far off the success,
fame, and popularity, throughout much of 1993
and 1994 Tuapc was in and out of jail on
various charges. He was arrested in a variety of
incidents including an assault and a rape
charge, and was shot and wounded while
recording tracks in the studio. In the midst of
all this, he did able to record and release his
third album "Me Against The World" (1995),
which debuted at No. 1, went platinum, and
established Tupac as one of the most popular
and commercially successful rappers to emerge
in the '90s. Thus, he was listed as the most
successful gangsta rapper in 'The Guinness
Book Of World Records'.
Released from the prison, he signed to Death
Row Records and spent months in the studio
recording his double album opus, the first of its
kind in rap, "All Eyez On Me" (1996). This
was Tupac's fourth solo album, in which
contained his duet with Dr. Dre titled "California Love"
and guest turns by Snoop Doggy Dogg, George
Clinton, Roger Troutman and Method Man.
This album, too, became a hit and sold for
more than six million copies. Out of his spotted
life, Tupac had ever dated Jada Pinkett Smith,
engaged to Kidada Jones, and married with
Keisha Morris on April 29, 1995, but annuled
it in 1996. Back to his music career, Tupac
began devoting more time to his acting career,
starring in the films Bullet, Gridlock'd, and
Gang Related. Besides, he also made numerous
guest appearances on other rappers' records and
recorded a pseudo-follow up entitled "The Don
Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" before he was
gunned down in Las Vegas in 1996. It was on
September 7, 1996, at the peak of his career,
Tupac was shot by unknown muggers while
riding in a car in Las Vegas and died six days
later (Friday September 13th) in a hospital
without ever regaining consciousness. Tupac's
death certainly became a jolt to the rap
community and heated up the already steaming
East vs. West rivalry. Commenting his death,
many people believed it was arranged by rival
label Bad Boy and their main players Sean "Puffy" Combs and rapper
Notorious B.I.G., who was later gunned down
himself in Los Angeles. Those theories
remained rumors in the already legendary,
iconoclastic story of Tupac Shakur.
Before the time he died, Tupac had recorded so
much materials that more of his albums have
been released since his death than were while
he was alive. His rest posthumous albums
include R U Still Down? (Remember Me?),
Lost Tapes 1989, One Million Strong, Still I
Rise, Rose That Grew From Concrete, Until
The End Of Time, and 2002's Better Dayz,
along with his one disc, were all released under
the Makave, thanks to his mother who wants to
keep his memory and music alive. However, in
2007 his mother faced the lawsuit from singer
Esther Williams who claimed that Tupac had
stolen her lyrics. Tupac's "Late Night' was
spotted by Williams to have similar lyrics to
her 1976 single "Last Night Changed It All".
Standing against this charge were Tupac's
mother and Universal Music Group as the
label.
