Photos: Psquare Makes First Public Appearance After Split Reports

After weeks of speculations that the pop duo P Square were on the verge of splitting, Peter and Paul Okoye made their first public appearance together at the Ibiza House Party at Piccolo Mondo hosted by top model Sarah Ofili.

The appearance of the Okoye brothers comes a day after they posted tweets, which has been widely regarded as reconciliation. "Forever P Square" tweeted Peter Okoye, while Paul posted "P Square.!Stronger Than Ever!!!"

At the party, Peter Okoye and his manager/brother Jude Okoye arrived first. A few minutes later Paul Okoye and his wife strolled into the V.I.P section. P Square's entourage included Don Flex- their choreographer, Tony Okoye- their brother and rising dancehall act Cynthia Morgan. Man of the moment Phyno also came to the party with P Square. P Square partied for a couple of hours before leaving.

It must be said that while at the party, the Okoye brothers appeared distant as they were opposite each other. Obviously, the ice between the two is still defrosting. However, it was good to see Peter and Paul back again.

Top Obasanjo Loyalists Dump PDP For APC

Top Stakeholders associated with former President Olusegun Obasanjo have left the Peoples Democratic Party ship and defected to the All Progressives Congress.

According to PUNCH, these loyalists of OBJ decided to switch parties because they felt they where not being supported enough by the ruling party.

These loyalists had wanted to defect with OBJ but the Ex-president urged them to stay on with the ruling party, after PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu paid him a visit this January.

These supporters who mostly hail from the South-West feel ignored by the PDP and want nothing more to do with the party.

They also said that most of the points raised in OBJ's letter to former Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur have not been looked at by the party.

A source close to the the group said:v"We continue to behave as if we do not want the old man and his supporters in the party. Mu'azu promised to address those points when he visited Baba (Obasanjo) in January, but nothing has been done."

The history of the crisis in the South-west PDP worsened in the start of 2013, when Tukur took down the party executive in Ogun State led by Senator Dipo Odujirin also an OBJ loyal.

Tukur also took out Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and National Auditor, Chief Bode Mustapha who are also strong loyalists of Obasanjo.

When Chief Bode Mustapha was called, he immediately told journalists that he has defected with his supporters to the APC.

He said: "I cannot continue to remain in a party where injustice is the order of the day; where the leader of the party does not deem it right to address the injustice that was meted out to me; where a person, who did not contest an office, is today occupying the office. They think it is the norm.

"It only smacks of one thing: that I am not wanted in the party; that I am seen as somebody who has no value in the party. Whether I have value or not, we shall see at the polls.

"I left the party on my own free will. Baba Obasanjo is my Baba (father). At the same time, at 64, if I don't know where I am going, I should know where I am coming from. I should know when to appreciate that I am not wanted in an environment.

"Let neophytes continue to tell lies to Mr. President. I wish all of them well, but if they are planning to rig, I want to tell them that they can only rig where they are popular."

The PDP Chairman in Ogun State, Chief Bayo Dayo has however laughed off his threats, saying Mustapha is worthless and has absolutely no political value.

He said, "Bode Mustapha has no value. If he has any value, tell him to go and give it to the APC. I can tell you that he cannot even win his ward."

The PDP has made it clear that they will only worry when Obasanjo himself comes out and questions them.

#TIME100: Read what Bill Gates wrote about Dangote

Africa's richest man who does good in addition to doing well

A year ago, I gave a speech in London about the fight to eradicate polio. It included a section on Nigeria, one of just three countries where the virus still circulates. The organizers told me Aliko Dangote had been invited. I thought, I'd like to see him, but he'd end polio faster by staying in Nigeria and doing the work he does every day. Fortunately, Aliko thought the same thing. He skipped my speech, and the children of Nigeria are better off for it.

Aliko is Africa's richest man, and his business activities drive economic growth across the continent. That's impressive, but I know him best as a leader constantly in search of ways to bridge the gap between private business and public health. It's for that reason he helped create the Nigeria Private Sector Health Alliance. And it's for that reason he is an advocate for agricultural research and malaria control.

All of this is in addition to Aliko's leadership on polio and other diseases. The last time I was in Nigeria, we met with dozens of people, from government leaders to front-line health workers. After I left, Aliko followed up with them to make sure they were doing the work they said they would do. This year, Nigeria is on pace for its lowest number of polio cases ever. Aliko is a big reason why.

Shocking: 40-Year-Old Woman Delivers Conjoined Twins In Abia State ( Photo )

It was a bizarre sight at Ebem in Ohafia, Abia State, when a 40-year-old woman gave birth to strange conjoined twins at Mben Cottage Hospital, Asaga road, Ebem Ohafia. The mother is said to be in a stable condition.

Speaking with reporters, the Medical Director, Dr Bernard Orji described the delivery as strange. Dr Orji said the woman did not register with the hospital and that she underwent a two-hour caesarean operation.

The doctor said the woman might have had the conjoined twins because of her inability to attend prenatal clinic.

The former Governor of Anambra state recently granted an interview to reporters from Vanguard.

When he was asked how he would rate his administration, he said: I have never rated myself because I believe it will be self-indulgence. Nobody marks his papers after examination. Even in Universities, they invite external examiners now and then. For the sake of objectivity, it is better for others to do the rating.

I recall when some people came from the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic studies on study tour to Anambra State. They asked me to convey people from the State to a particular place for interactive session with them as to know firsthand the peoples' feeling about our government. I insisted they should rather go to the markets with me and we did so, without security. I think they marvelled at what the saw.

The responses from people about activities in the State were most cheering. This is how people are assessed. If I had conveyed people to them, the chances were that it would be party supporters without respect for objectivity.

Some people published in the newspapers that you did not leave the money and investment of about $86 Billion as you claimed. How would you react to this?

When asked about the rumours making the rounds that he did not leave $86 Billion as he claimed by some Newspapers.

He said: I often say that there must be the lunatic fringe in all reform movements. People told me about the publication, but the only thing is that I refused to read it because they are minor distractions intended to snare the lowly minded. As far as I am concerned, I should not comment on such inanities. Pardon our disagreeing with you. It is not about the publishers of the advert, but about clarifying issues to Nigerians. On the 8th of March, I called Nigerians from all walks of life and presented what I called my "End of Tenure Report".

I explained where I met Anambra State and where we are leaving her. I made it clear that we did not borrow a dime neither did we issue bond. I mentioned our investments and savings in banks. For example, I mentioned that we saved $156 Million Dollars through buying local and foreign denominated bonds.

The Managing Directors of the banks where these money are- Fidelity, Access and Diamond Banks- were present. It baffles me that some people would come up to cast doubts on people's mind just to pull Peter Obi down. All I can say is that what we said we did, the money we said we left and all that were properly documented and certified. With the Freedom of Information Law, one can actually apply to those institutions to know if the money are there.

Let me take this opportunity to clear one misconception, I did not say I left all cash in the banks. I made it clear that some were by way of investment. For example, Anambra State invested money in some of the companies we attracted to the State. It is important to let you know that we were able to save money in the State because we made a law that Anambra must save a minimum of N100 Million Naira monthly and I obeyed it religiously.

As a governor, I supported savings by the country. Look, no matter the situation, one must save even if a kobo every month for the rainy day. Unfortunately, when one says so, one is reminded by some people that it is already raining here. The irony is that the same people saying this have private savings? When one witnesses the mindset of some of us, one shudders. Many of us are only interested in the next post and not what the future holds for us as a country.

He also denied reports that he wants to be a Senator, saying he doesn't have such ambition.

‘Why we should care’ – Read Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s speech at #NECLive 2014

What is social responsibility: Social responsibility means making sure that the people's quality of life and their human rights are not compromised to accomplish expectations and demands. For instance, purchasing goods and food that have been traded fairly, and manufactured in good conditions.

Social responsibility is an ethical theory that an entity, be it an organization or individual, has an obligation to act to benefit society at large. Social responsibility is a duty every individual or organization has to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the ecosystem.

What then is Obligation: An act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment?

Good afternoon again everyone, I would love to address social responsibility on many levels but will for this conference, limit it to as it concerns entertainment.

Social Responsibility: In a rapidly changing world, one that sees many typhoons, earthquakes, wars and different presidents and tenures, one thing has not changed. Celeb worship! Many leaders have been in power and left power in the space of time that many entertainers have still remained in the limelight. What does this mean theoretically then, the people know you more, perhaps love you more, and perhaps … TRUST you more…

How then have we reciprocated their love and trust, and how really can we help ourselves, the world we live in today and the one we hope to leave for our children with this privileged rare gift and opportunity that we possess.

1. The unstoppable: I have often referred to Nigerians as the 'Black Jews 'friends have often laughed at this description of mine but… Think about it for a moment. Is there anywhere you will not find NIGERIANS? Is there anywhere NIGERIANS cannot succeed in? Are NIGERIANS not one of the most intelligent, industrious and' just get on with it 'creative and happy minds you know? We seem to be unstoppable when we choose… So surely, these must be God's own people too.

But…we all know we do not live right now like God's own people… So what's our obligation to our immediate community, what do we need…

2. Form bigger bonds and societies: every serious group or persons have societies, clubs, and associations whatever you want to name it why?

Because all intelligent people know their power lies in Numbers and unity of purpose! This is why every person that wants to take away your rights and power causes division (divide and rule) they target the selfish, greedy ones and approach them with gifts, money enticements that make them speak out from/against the group. It starts with deceit then a decision and division and finally disgrace. (The act of falling from grace)… Or loss of reputation or respect, esp. as the result of a dishonourable action.

You have all seen this in Nollywood movies you have an idea of what I'm talking about? It's THE SAME deception from the time of Adam and Eve, to how slavery started till today…

However, when we do have unified bodies and common goals and less greed and selfishness then we can begin to tap into our full potentials. This is one if the mist effective forms of so ail responsibility, the ability to gather and have a common purpose and voice.

3. Sticking together on basic minimums: Now this affects our immediate community. The entertainment industry! Where there is no law there is no order. As entertainers, we should not only be organized we should be disciplined! We all have the days when we are not the richest… (You know what I mean, when everyone thinks you can give them something and in truth you could do with some hand-outs yourself) everyone goes through those situations every now and then, but even in poverty, there is dignity!

Therefore, I think as entertainers we should have basic minimum standards that we 'must' adhere to …  And where penalties are taken seriously for offenders.( in receiving payments and conditions for services rendered ).After-all, if we in entertainment do not even know the basic minimum way or manner a person should and must be treated, the worth of a human… Nigerian life , how then can we begin to phantom the level of inhumanity that is unacceptable that we might need to agitate By.

4. Respect: Yes this is Entertainment and so it's mostly about who the reigning ones are, who's trending, who's hot! Who's Boss! But as Africans I think it's important we don't forget whose Bros! We were all brought up to respect 'elders', 'seniors', 'older ones' e.t.c so why do we it is okay to be disrespectful as Entertainers? Let's not kid ourselves in the industry we individually know who our contemporaries are and who our ' seniors' are even if our seniors haven't or may never 'Blow', 'trend' or 'make it'. We can look and act 'Hot' when we are with the fans but when we are in the family we ought to know our boundaries. This is one of the bedrocks of a strong society, group or association. It is the foundation. It is a test of the content of your character.

5. Education: So Lupita Nyongo won an Oscar for best supporting actress and now we all must go to school to be successful entertainers? Actually No! So what's all the fuss about, there are many actors and musicians who have won Oscars and Grammys who never went to school. Yes, but they might never boast of THE SAME amount of opportunities and in-dept knowledge as those who went to school.

Is it compulsory for success in entertainment to be educated? No… Is it Advisable, absolutely yes? There are many layers to being famous or being a celebrity and Education prepares us for these layers so we can reach our full potential and be trusted with more responsibilities. Social responsibility as you can guess is a lot of responsibility and expression. You might as some point be required to speak to different types of group of people as I am doing right now … Simply put, Talent will Never be Enough.

6. Election campaigning and political whoring: A few days ago, an angry colleague sent me a write-up on blogs about how it was insinuated that entertainers have aided politicians in perpetuating some evils… A totally purposeful write-up but poorly executed. Before I go any further let me point out that Omotola has never campaigned, hobnobbed nor partied with any Government! So people should please research before they mention names in public speaking.

Haven said this, I agree with the message the writer was hoping to pass. Do I think that Governments should not be supported? No I do not think this. I have volunteered with no reward to help in the campaign of a candidate I believed strongly in some time ago. However, I believe as intelligent people and we are, we know even before campaigns who are not likely to be a good leader.

I've often heard musicians say: 'I'm just there to entertain, Just doing my job. I don't necessarily support'. Note that this is THE SAME as you retweeting a message. You'll have a hard time convincing everyone that you don't agree with that message!

We know most times the pulse of the people and our conscience bear witness that these person(s) as the case may be are only out for themselves. They break rules, are not dynamic nor intend to be, do not have good moral or outstanding values / pasts. Why then as Entertainers and young people that the public wants so desperately to love and trust, do we 'sell 'ourselves and identify/ ALLIGN with such individuals? This is our SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY as entertainers, it is our ethical obligation that we re -invest goodwill that we have so wonderfully garnered for the good of the society we trade in.

Although we all have our prerogative as to who or what we want to associate ourselves with, it is expedient to remember that 'celebrity ' would be more effective as non-partisan except you are a member of a political party, which should then be clear. You can be friends if you choose with corrupt and un-trusted elements without aligning your Brand with what they stand for. Remember your brand will outlive theirs be careful what you plant with it.

Destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice…posterity will remember to judge you… Choose wisely.

7. Leadership by example /using our influence right: finally, who is the Real leader. Who? WE ARE! We ARE THE TRUE LEADERS. We have been sleeping giants for too long. Let's wake up and lead by example Entertainers! In a continent with some of the strongest, most recognizable and loved entertainers, we can change things. Let's use our influence right. With this generation of Entertainers, if we choose, we will change history.

So the when Question arises Again… Why should we care? Because we can…because we do.

This speech was delivered at the second edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference held on Wednesday, April 23, 2013 at the Grand Ball Room of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, Nigeria.

The nationwide cinema release of the much-awaited Half of a Yellow Sun movie has been postponed.

According to iROKOtv.com, the new target date is May 2, 2014, Friday. The Nigerian distributors of Half of a Yellow Sun, FilmOne Distribution, and the Nigeria producers, Shareman Media, have released the joint statement in this regard, explaining the reason of the delay.

Subject to obtaining the certification of the Board, the film is now rescheduled for release on 2nd May 2014."

It would be recalled that the initial date of the release was April 25, 2014.

The movie, based on the novel by a prominent Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, is expected to become a record-breaking film. A London-born star actor of Nigerian origin, Chiwetel Ejiofor, visited Lagos for its premiere in April 12, 2014.

Terry G And Hotel Manager Exchange Blows In public

Terry G, has again been involved in a messy fight at a hangout in his Iju neighbourhood.

The fight, which later resulted in a free-for-all, took place at the Treasures Exclusive Garden, off Bola Tinubu Road, Iju, Lagos at about 6p.m. Wednesday.

A source told P.M.NEWS that Terry G and his boys stormed the hotel to relax but things later turned awry between some staff of the hangout and the music star with his crew.

According to the source, when Terry G arrived the club, one of his boys forcefully jumped into the swimming pool without paying.

One of the hangout's attendants asked the boy to come out of the pool but he refused. When he was dragged out, his colleagues reportedly reacted with violence. The ensuing free for all, the source said, saw Terry G raining blows on the hotel manager.

"When Terry G and his crew arrived the hotel around 6p.m., one of his boys just jumped into the pool without paying. The security guard called him to come out but he refused. Even the owner of the hotel, Mr. George Obot, shouted at him but he refused. Terry G further messed up the whole issue when he started abusing Mr. Obot, telling the man what did he think he has and all sort of things," the source narrated.

He continued: "His boys started beating the  security guards, while Terry G himself slapped the hotel manager who was trying to calm him down."

Mr. Obot, the owner of Treasures Exclusive Garden, in a phone chat with our correspondent, confirmed the incident. He said that he was disappointed in Terry G who came and messed up his place.

Obot said he wouldn't want to comment further since he was still assessing the matter and would get back to P.M.NEWS.

A patron of Treasures, who claimed he witnessed the incident, however had a slightly different story to tell.

The patron, who did not want his name mentioned for fear of reprisal from the relaxation centre's management, said when Terry G and two others arrived the club, they hurriedly undressed and were about to jump into the swimming pool when the club manager told them that they couldn't.

Aregbesola: Working for the future

President John F. Kennedy did not live to witness the final fulfilment of the most ambitious of his goals: the landing of man on the moon by the United States as he predicted.

The Soviet Union had had a head start many times over, starting with the Sputnik in 1957, and the United States saw it as a competition between "tyranny" (Moscow) and "freedom" (Washington).

Since the Soviets had not landed man on the moon, Kennedy saw such a feat as being the achievement to settle the matter once and for all. So, on May 25, 1961, the American leader went to the Congress and threw the challenge that had since changed the face of space exploration.

He told the lawmakers: "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal before the decade (the '60s) is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind or more important for the long range exploration of space and none could be so difficult or expensive to accomplish… I believe we should go to the moon."

That historic goal was fulfilled on July 20, 1969 before the decade was out. But alas, Kennedy who broached the vision had been assassinated on November 22, 1963. He was gone: but he had worked for history. He had seen beyond his day and prepared for the future and history he had peeped into.

That is how most observers view the pace of developments in the state of Osun under Governor Rauf Aregbesola. His policies suggest that he has one foot in today and the other in tomorrow. The criticism levelled against him has to do not only with a gross misunderstanding and ignorance of his long sightedness and mission; but more importantly also with the critics' refusal to look past the present. We are too burdened with anxieties of the day; we do not want to brace for an encounter with history and the future. That is not the way of Aregbesola.

We seem to be thinking that the future generation would take care of their own headache when the time comes. Really? No! Not so! The leader is only a good leader if while addressing today's challenges, he is able also to do today what the future would benefit from, without compromising today and the future. That is the stuff of great men.

Ghana is a stable polity today on account of the institutional philosophy of governance and probity its founding leader Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah worked out in the '50s and '60s while he was at the helm. The South West is still a leader in a number of spheres in Nigeria today because of the developments pioneered by its first premier, Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Ditto for the role played by the United States' founding presidents, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson among others together with the civil war hero President Abraham Lincoln.

None of these rooted themselves in the present. They all spent precious time looking into history. They asked what they could do to make a difference in leadership, in governance and in the lives of the people. And history and society have always honoured them.

In my candid opinion, that is exactly what Governor Rauf Aregbesola is doing in the state of Osun. His deep thrust of intervention in education will have irreversible impact on the citizen who will emerge as the leader of tomorrow by virtue of the fact that he is getting exposed to the technology and skills that would make him fit into the future.

His uncanny policy of employing 20,000 youths at a go in his first 100 days in office in 2010 has succored a depressed economy to push the young ones for a say in the affairs of history. The figure has gone up to 40,000 now. How about agriculture? Aregbesola has introduced a strategy to capture part of the thriving multi billion naira market in Lagos for the farmers of Osun.

Not only that, the Osun farmers have already been empowered. Many were given loans for poultry and fish farming. And they are doing very well. He has established a meeting point at Dagbolu on the outskirts of Osogbo where the farmers can get their crops transported by rail to the old federal capital for sale, for prosperous business.

In tourism, the Aregbesola administration is targeting N15 billion as revenue in 2015. He met an Internally Generated Revenue of about N300m and today, the government is raking in N1.6 billion monthly without subjecting anyone to extra taxation. In the strategic health sector, the government is undertaking radical changes in the primary, secondary and tertiary stages of health delivery.

Like John Kennedy, it is obvious that Rauf Aregbesola is thinking beyond today. That is the key to solving society's fundamental problems. The serious problem with leadership in Nigeria is that our helmsmen are too stuck in today. Let us have an eye on history. Let us do what the present and tomorrow will hail us for.

Ex-Army Chief Proffers Solution To Boko Haram

Former Chief of Army Staff, General Salihu Ibrahim has proffered a solution to the unabated destruction of lives and property being perpetrated by the Boko Haram insurgency in the country.

According to the one time Nigerian army boss, community policing is the best way to curb the problem of insurgency in the north eastern part of the country.

The chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Shippers Council, NSC told Vanguard reporter in Lagos that all communities must cooperate with the security agencies to stop the destruction of lives and property in the country.

Ibrahim also implored residents in the north-eastern part of the country to ensure that they give useful information about strangers and unusual activities around their communities to the security agencies.

He said: "There is need to re-emphasise and educate the public more to pass on information about any unforeseen or unjust activities going on around them and if there are people, strangers in their midst, they should report such people to the police and the security agencies for clarification. Those in the villages must help in identifying who the bad guys are.

"The government is doing very well in trying to tackle the unfortunate security situation in our country.

"I think it seems to be diverting attention and eroding efforts of government and the people themselves, particularly in areas where these things are happening. Government must mobilise the public."

Chris Brown breaks down in tears as he is thrown back in Jail till June....

Chris Brown has been thrown back in jail until June after his bail application was denied by the judge.
The trial was to start today but was postponed till June .He has been locked up since March 14  and faces a 4 year jail sentence..CNN reports..

Chris Brown must return to California the same way he got to Washington, D.C. -- in chains on the grueling "Con Air" inmate transport system.

A Los Angeles judge refused a request to free the singer from custody on Wednesday so he could make his own way back from Washington.

His lawyer , Mark Geragos,said

"I think it's a little over the top to have him in custody on this misdemeanor when everybody saw the bodyguard's trial and which was nothing more than a bloody nose,And you have got the bodyguard who was convicted and who readily admitted he was the one who did the punching. So all of this is much ado about nothing."

A source told Hollywood Life that he broke down in tears infront of Karrauche who was at the trial, confessing he was so terrified of being locked up for 4 years. He also said he is tired and doesn't sleep because he's nervous.

This is so sad,I feel sorry for him ..

At Last: P-square back together again

Since last week, news have been rife that Paul and Peter Okoye of P-Square are stepping on each other's toes and on the verge of breaking up the music group and their properties.

The sudden news broke the heart of fans across Africa and the world.

It was even reported that the duo exchanged blows and Peter Okoye moved out of their Squareville mansion.

All these stories started after their elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye, tweeted "after over 10 years of hard work, it's over. (I) Am done."

In a bid to calm down the situation, Paul Okoye shared the photo above of himself and his brother Peter on his Facebook page with a very beautiful caption. Look up again......
From Paul's comment, I think the twins are finding their way back into unity.

Female Students and Their Dirty Runs In Popular Club In Owerri Exposed

Once you touch down, you will feel the vibe of Owerri, the capital of Imo State. The city is warm, with things to keep visitors engaged. Known for its robust hospitality industry, Owerri is the destination of fun seekers of all sorts. Visitors to the city will always have fond memories as well as the longing to return. They will remember the nightlife; most of the fine restaurants, hotels and fun spots are places to be in the night.

They know that Owerri has its fair share of nightclubs. While some of the clubs operate on their own, others are built inside hotels. Those who lodge in the hotels that operate nightclubs are admitted free, upon showing their room keys. Others pay gate fee. Expectedly, going by the active nightlife in the city, Owerri is brimming with all categories of prostitutés.

One of the commercial séx workers told The Sun, at the Rappour Hotel nightclub, that she comes around to earn money and take care of herself and siblings. Ijeoma, as she called herself, said: "I come to the club about three times a week to catch some fun, but nothing goes for nothing."

Most of these séx workers are students of institutions in the state and neighbouring states. In the day, the girls appear somewhat respectable on campus, but at night they wear a different cap. By their dressing you will know them. They appear in low waist trousers, short gowns/micro mini skirts, midriff and oranges revealing tops and patrol premises of hotels with nightclubs.

To Mr Livinus Manukwem, an Owerri businessman, the situation could not have been otherwise, every factor considered. "The sheer number of tertiary institutions in and around Owerri naturally creates the environment for people to indulge. I think there are more higher institutions in Owerri than in any other town in the country. Those setting up such facilities in Owerri are smart business people, taking advantage of the environment or situation. It is just like locating an industry where the raw materials for production abound."

Open séx club. One of the nightclubs offering "special services" is located unobtrusively off All Seasons Road, New Owerri. The club begins business from about 8pm. However, activities reach fever pitch from 10pm and continue till the wee hours.

This hangout is a white bungalow that hardly gives itself away. It looks like the regular club inside but without heavy décor and neon lights at the entrance. The regular dance hall is always almost empty, making one wonder how they manage to stay afloat. But if you wait long enough, you will notice young and middle aged men strolling into a passage on the left side of the dance hall. And that is where the real action is.

To go past barrel-chested bouncers manning an inner door, you must pay a gate fee of N1,000. There is an adjoining room also and both have something in common: Wild séxual obscenity.

The rooms are not well illuminated but bright enough for you to see what is being offered. Once you step in, the sight that greets you is that of a number of nakéd girls or at various stages of nu'dity. The girls in bra and pants soon shed every piece of clothing, as the show gathers momentum.

The nightclub parades these girls in appreciable number. Unlike some other strip bars where only a handful of girls entertain, this nightclub has them many. And they come in various sizes and shapes: slim, flat, tall, short, fair, dark. Again, unlike most clubs, where go-go girls exhibit their stuff on a platform, in this fun spot the girls offer more or less personal service. They move from one patron to another, showing the stuff they are made off. Wonderful!

The Sun reporter was at the nightclub recently. As soon as the reporter and two of his friends sauntered in, the girls began to hover around them. About 12 of them were inside the room. Some were smoking and drinking beer, which is sold for N500 each.

Others were rocking to the pulsating music blasting from the speakers, making explicit remarks and gestures to the men, even as some playfully squeezed one another's buttocks and oranges.

After the reporter walked in, Flavour's monster hit, Ashawo, began to play. The tempo of the music seemed to energize the dancers and they did exotic dance steps and got wilder.

In corners, some of the girls were engaged in lap dance with men, who grabbed the opportunity with both hands, caressing the lower region of the girls. The mischievous guys were inserting naira notes in between the thighs of the girls. In this nightclub, to be "appreciated" is euphemism for "I need some money."

The inner room is a shade darker and sleazier. There, the patrons and the girls get more intimate, engaging in all manner of acts. Some of the dancers were sitting astride men even as others were caressing themselves.

One of the girls, who gave her name as Marbel, said that for N2,000 she would engage in "oral" with a man in the dark hall. It was gathered that a patron could also take any of the girls out for the night, for an agreed sum. The price depends on the time, desperation of the girl and bargaining power of the patron, but it could be anything between N5,000 and N10,000.

Private parties:
It was also learnt that the strip dancers equally entertain at private or house parties. According to one of the girls, who identified herself as Maureen, "If guys want to be entertained in a private apartment or hotel room, the girls would be willing. The price tag is N5,000 per girl for an outing of between four and five hours."

Maureen, who claims to be a graduate from University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and speaks good English, also said that during such private outings, séx can take place but it depends on the agreement between both.

She said: "You can have séx with a girl at the house party, but it is a personal thing. Of course, if you make a good offer a girl will not refuse it. It is a matter of cash." She further said that if given at least two days notice, she can arrange for up to 30 girls for such special party. She further said that payment must be made before the girls begin to drop their pants.

Defending her action, the beautiful Maureen said:
"What is the big deal? Everybody is doing it. Female bankers do it, actresses do it; lawmakers and ministers too are doing it. In fact, some pretenders have séx with more men in a week than strip dancers."

Like seriously? So parents send their daughters to university and this is what they are doing?

Photo: Is Yvonne Nelson dating Alex Ekubo?

It was gathered that Alex is sneaking into the country, not only to shoot movies but to hang out with Yvonne. The duo have been also caught in several uncompromising situations when they thought they have had their tracks well covered.

Recently, Yvonne Nelson came out of a failed relationship with Nigeria's music star, Iyanya, and now appears to have a crush on yet another Nigerian celebrity, Alex Ekubo.

God Has Shown Me The Party That Will Win The 2015 Elections — Prophet Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of Inri Spiritual Evangelical Church. A man who does not speak anyhow and one of the prophets in Nigeria whose words are taken seriously. In this interview with Ayomide Owonibi, he speaks about the future of Nigeria and what Nigerians should expect in 2015:

Visions for Nigeria in the first quarter of the year
Prayers are all what we need to keep the country intact, to bring peace to the country. As a matter of fact, a lot is still going to happen and Nigerians still need to be praying ahead. I am using this medium to appeal to all Christians and Nigerians who believe in the tomorrow of this country to pray.

If Nigerians can exercise patience, I see the economy booming. I see expatriates coming into this country because our economy would be one of the best in Africa come 2017. But the point is that we have to pray that God should keep Nigeria as one nation. The government has not really addressed the issue of one nation as expected. We need prayers for God's divine intervention.

Nigeria's unity
It may take 30 or 50 years but Nigeria cannot stay together for another 100 years.

Specifically, are you seeing Jonathan as President in 2015?
I am not talking about Jonathan here. I am talking about the party. I am saying again, PDP will make it in 2015. There is still going to be more negotiations. Honestly speaking, if the Vice-President does not sit up, his position would be used for negotiations. Most of the defected government if not all, two would come back to PDP. There would still be more defections. APC cannot fight PDP, as they don't have the mandate. APC did not ask from God before they came together so they cannot stand.

Another thing is that the weather forecast in Lagos State, which said that rain would fall for 265 days is a lie. The Lord told me that it is a lie. There would be rain but not for 265 days. The meteorologists have made a big blunder. Nobody determines the work of God.

On insecurity
If this government tries to have any kind of amnesty with Boko Haram, it would cause problems for this country. The government should not take it lightly with Boko Haram; they should fight the war against them. I see other nations supporting Nigeria in the long run. Boko Haram would still make the FG spend a lot of money. On the issue of Boko Haram, the CIA has misled the Nigerian government about it. As said by the Lord, America should be blamed, as directed by the Lord. These people are not spirits. I don't know whether the government is afraid to address things the way they are. They should address it from the roots.

We said it earlier this year that Abuja must be very watchful because there is going to be an attack on Abuja. The government should work more on security so that Nigerians can be protected.

Nigerians don't understand when a man of God speaks. We should not blame many men of God who said things in the back that did not come to pass. Everything is in the hands of God. He is the one who has the final say about everything that happens. What I am saying in essence is that APC will not make the presidency in 2015, though it will be very tough.

What are your thoughts about the missing Malaysian plane?
The missing Malaysian plane is riddled with politics. The people should put pressure on the Malaysian government. There is more to that missing plane than meets the eye. I would say it again, the government is involved. The government should be queried about the missing plane. It is not a crashed plane at the moment, but a missing plane.

How about Rivers State?
If Rivers State is not careful enough, PDP might take over the state. PDP would [keep] Akwa Ibom. Also, if care is not taken, PDP would take over Sokoto State. These are the states that God has revealed to me that PDP would take over.

I see the flag of Nigeria changing. At the end of it all, there is still going to be another constitution review. I see that there is going to be something like a referendum. I see a confab where there would be an adoption of referendum. There would be elections in 2015 despite insinuations that there would be none.

2face and I Have Decided That No Girl Can Separate Us ––Annie

When a lady revealed recently that she was pregnant for popular singer Tuface Idibia, while his wife was in far away US to deliver their baby, many thought the issues was going to set their house on fire. But surprisingly the woman of the house, Annie, stood by her husband and even called the lady a big liar.

How come she defended Tuface with so much passion?

Here's what Annie told City People:

"My husband and I have already made up our minds
that no gist or gossip would come between us. We
laugh over the controversy. Our friends and families
are even more worried for us but we are fine and
don't bother about the gossip."

They've come a long way together!

See What Really Caused The Big Trouble Among P'Square

More information continue to stream out with regards to the dirty fighting in P'Square house. Peter Okoye who is pictured above is leading the battle for "freedom". He believes he is not getting his dues in the group and the issue of his elder brother, Jude not respecting his wife, Lola Omotayo, is a serious matter.

Due to their disagreement, it seems Jude has teamed up with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, to undo him and in all ways possible reduce his influence is the P'Square family.

In recent times, most of the songs that Psquare have
released are from his twin brother, Paul. And songs by
Peter are kept in the cooler.

Before their mum died, she was said to have told
Peter that if he marries Lola Omotayo there would be
issues in the family, and that she saw him in a dream
chasing his twin brother, Paul with a Fork to attack
him. It's a serious matter. When I got in touch with a
source in P'Square camp he told naijawise.blogspot.Com that the warning was the reason why their elder brother, Jude, is not happy with Lola and in fact, the family does not support her marriage to Peter Okoye.

Now to the real issues that made them exchange physical punches that led to injury:
Although Peter wants out or a major control of the money they are making, the physical fight was as a result of the small money given to Peter's PA by Jude's PA to help register his car. The guy didn't register the car and he also did not refund the money.

And they say that was not the first time he would do such. The two PAs got into a bloody fight at P'Square family house, Squareville, and at a stage Peter intervened and when his twin brother, Paul, saw that he was about to hit Jude's PA he stepped in and grabbed his hand. This did not go down well with Peter who immediate punch his brother so hard that he fell to the ground.

It was a big embarrassment to Paul as his wife was their when his brother punched him but he didn't fight back and it was another of their elder brother, identified as Tony, who intervened and slapped Peter.

This got Peter really mad and that was why a lawyer was brought him to share their money and property but at the end of the day, the lawyer was not able to do so as the other brothers are not in support of the move.

For now, Peter and Lola have stayed away from P'Square mansion.

What next? Time will tell!
