MAN: Ok eat it yourself and tell me how it is.

MANAGER: [eating the meat] but sir this meat is very soft, I don't know why you are complaining.

Joke: A Horse Indeed

One Sunday afternoon a parish priest had just completed his service when he was about to lock the Cathedral doors. To his amazement people were crowded by the church street.

Curious to know what was happening he asked one of the guys who explained that a rumour had circulated that a naked woman would pass through the street riding a horse.

"Ah!" Exclaimed the priest "that means I will have to wait too. It's been a long time since I last saw a horse!"

“I’m Not In A Relationship With Vector” – Sheyi Shay

During an interview with Punch Ademola Olonilua , singer
Sheyi Shay tells it all about her style and fashion;
Would you rather wear weaves or your natural hair?

Personally, I would opt for a weave. I would rather rock a
weave because it is more versatile than my natural hair. There
are so many hair styles I can do with a weave that I cannot do with my natural hair. I think a person can do more styles with a weave.

Do you have a favourite hairstyle?

I prefer the chin length or short cut. I feel a lot comfortable in
these hairstyles. It also depends on what I am doing at the
moment. Some shoots tend to dictate what I would look like
for a period of time but basically, I like chin length or short
cut.

How long does it usually take you to make your hair?

Well, most times it usually depends on the style. On an
average I would say it takes about two hours to make my hair.

Why is it that recently, more women are cutting their hair
or going for short hairdo?

I think lately more women are cutting their hair or going
shorter because they are becoming more confident with their
femininity and it is also a brave fashion statement.

Can you for any reason shave your hair and be
comfortable with it?

I could never shave my head. I would not feel comfortable
and I am not that confident.

Can we ever catch you without make-up?

I prefer looking natural. It feels so good to be natural. Also,
it's nice to let your skin breathe but because of the nature of
my business, I have to put on make-up
sometimes.

Would you rather buy a Nigerian designer's cloth or a
foreign designer's?

In my view, I think Nigerian designers are doing a great job.

There are a lot of creative Nigerian designers. These days, I
find myself buying and wearing more of Nigerian designers. I
think it is amazing to support our own. I always wear

Nigerian designers. I prefer our creativity and uniqueness.
Is there really a difference between fashion and style?

Fashion is what everyone follows. Style is more personal.

Fashion trends come and go but a person's style sticks except
when he or she wants to try something new, something
different.

What influences your fashion trend?

I really love classic pieces. I most especially love styles from
the 20's, 40's, 80's. Also, the French vogue is one of my
favourites.

What is that fashion item you can't leave home without?

I must always have a pair of heels in my car. Heels change
your posture and you can wear them with everything. They
come in very handy. Apparently, shoes must be your
weakness… Without thinking twice I would say I love shoes.

That is my fashion weakness. I own so many perfumes and
countless pairs of shoes and some more I would never wear
again but can't let go of.

How much did your most expensive heels cost?

My most expensive heels cost a lot.

How is it competing with men in the industry?

There are more men in the industry than the women and the
men get to experiment more. We women have to be very
careful the way we portray ourselves because of our culture.

Being in a predominantly male industry is hard. As a female,
I need to work harder everything including shows. But I never
really get intimidated. I respect everyone's workmanship and
I learn also.

Would you say the industry is fair to female artistes?

The industry should give female artistes more shows and
more money for their workmanship. That said, I actually think
it is getting better.

Don't you think your celebrity status scare men away
from you?

It's a double edge sword. I get people just sending me
messages that they love me. I appreciate all the love from the
fans; their support keep me going.

Are you in a relationship with the rap artiste Vector?
No. We are not in a relationship.

So where did the rumours come from?

I'm not in a relationship with Vector. The rumour may have
come from our performance together at this year's
Felabration. We ended our set with a friendly hug and people
thought there was something more.

Do you find him at least attractive especially his fashion
side?

I think he has a nice dress sense. I'm not attracted to him.
What fashion item do you admire on a man?

I admire men who wear good shoes and a well tailored suit.

What is your take on cleavage exposure and ladies
wearing skimpy dresses?

My advice is that you should just make sure you wear it and
it does not wear you. Think about that for a minute. People
should admire the dress on you and not the other way round
or people admiring only the dress.

How do you maintain your voice?

I make a conscious effort not to shout. Also, I drink a lot of
water and I sing everyday as a form of voice exercise.

Who shopped for you when you were growing up?

My mother did all the shopping for me when I was growing.
She rarely got my taste though.

Why did you leave the UK for Nigeria to start music?

The challenge attracted me. The fertility in the industry was
and is more promising than anywhere else in the world right
now.

People are of the opinion that you are copying the likes of
Beyonce and Tiwa Savage, what do you have to say to
that?

They are both very different so who exactly am I copying?

The whole world is influenced by Beyonce. So that's unfair.
Beyonce is an inspiration to us all.

What are you currently working on?

I am working on my Ragga Ragga video, my album and
further build the Seyi Shay brand.

When performing during shows, how do you come up with
the costumes you use?

My stylist and I usually talk about style and image before
every event.

What are the gains and pains of being famous?

The gains and pains include people appreciating my work in
different ways, travelling round the world and doing what I
love. On the other side, it is a very lonely journey and many
sacrifices are made to get to the desired destination.

Would you say you stand-out with your fashion sense
compared to other ladies in the industry?

I hope I stand out with my fashion sense.

What would you say? When stepping out for an event,
what are the things you consider?

I try to avoid being over dressed for any event. I always take
a last look in the mirror and then, take off an accessory.

How did this whole music thing start?

Music, singing, performing for me started back in the UK,
when I was part of my school gospel choir.

How were you able to adapt when you came back to
Nigeria?

Settling back in the country was really a piece of cake. I have
lived here before and my mother brought me to Lagos every
year since I was two years

old. I am home and there is no place like it.

Shocking: Kukere Master Iyanya Was Bounced At Davido’s 21st Birthday Party

That question has left many tongues wagging. Iyanya was
bounced at Davido's 21st birthday party which held at Pavada
Lounge Thursday night.

Witnesses said, most people who weren't invited where not
allowed to get in, and if you must, you must call one of the
HKN group members, who will come out and take you in.
Most people who felt they should be in, called Kamal, a
member of Davido's group who was always in and out taking
guests in. But when Iyanya got to the entrance, the bouncers
said he couldn't get it.

People around told them it was Iyanya, but the bouncers still
refused and said if he must get in, he should call Davido or
Kamal. Iyanya tried making a call, but no one picked, he got
angry nodding his head as he left. A lot of people didn't
understand what was going on and it soon became a hot topic
among guests at the party. Now, this is an inside gist and it's
so true.

Policeman drags wife to court over fetish substances

Mr. Folorunso Egbedokun,a policeman, told an Agege Grade
'A' Customary Court that he saw a bag full of fetish
substances in the wardrobe of his wife, Mrs. Risikat
Egbedokun, who did not give him peace of mind. "One day, I
went into her wardrobe and I saw a bag full of fetish
substances. When I asked her who owned them, she begged
me not to tell anybody", the husband said.

"Since that day, I stopped loving her." Folorunso informed the
court that Risikat said that her mother procured the fetish
items for her. He also said the wife always rained curses on
him. The husband therefore urged the court to dissolve the
marriage, and grant him the custody of the children for proper
care. In her defence, Risikat, who did not want to divorce her
husband, said Folorunso deflowered her.

The woman said his husband drinks every time he receives his
salary. "So, he abandons his responsibility as a father, and
drinks around town," she said. "His sister wants me to leave
my husband's house and rent a house in the neighbourhood,
but I still love my husband". Meanwhile, the court president,
Mr. Shokunle, adjourned the case for further hearing and
warned the couple to maintain the peace.

Photo: My Jobless Boyfriend Smashed The Car I Won On Nigeria Idols

Debbie Rise was the last girl standing at the previous Nigerian
Idols television show. In a chat with Saturday Beats, the
songstress said that ever since the show ended it has not been
a bed of roses for her. The up and coming singer said she
would not forget in a hurry how a jealous lover smashed the
windscreen of the car she won at the reality television show.

"After having a minor accident with the new car I won
from the show, a jealous lover smashed the windscreen so
badly and as a result it was a whole new type of challenge,
trying to get it fixed, bringing the person to book... but I
overcame."

She also said that some friends had been breathing down her
neck saying she doesn't care about them anymore after all the
money they spent voting for her while on the Nigerian Idol
show.

"I tried to act the same, maintain my old phone numbers of
about eight years, tried to keep in touch with all my friends
even though it was honestly difficult to keep up. I kept getting
Watsapp, sms, Facebook and all kinds of messages from some
particular friends with words like 'what are you feeling like?
Is it because you are now a superstar or what?' Some would
even say 'Debie, you have changed, you can't even call me
after all the money I spent voting for you.'

"It really got to me then and I used all my time and resources
to try and make all of them see reasons and all, but then they
just didn't stop, so I decided to do my best and leave the rest.
But I want to use this opportunity to tell them that I didn't
change one bit, but someday, they will understand. That was
one challenge I had also. The important thing is not the
gravity of the challenge but how to come out strong, and I
must say, I am wiser, stronger and better," she added.

Wedding Update: Tiwa Father Not Too Happy With The Course Of Wedding

Tiwa Savage's father appears not to be happy with the way
the wedding of Tiwa and T-billz is going right now.

Our correspondent caught him complaining to a member of
his family that the groom's family seem to have hijacked
the whole ceremony.

'The groom's family have over taken everything and it is
not supposed to be so', he complained angrily to the family
member who was giving him audience.

His anger was further expressed as he went round asking
some of the guests from the grooms side to move from their
tables and to look for seats elsewhere.

I escaped being used for money ritual by my husband – Wife

A housewife, Caroline Omoseebi, testified before an Alakuko
Customary Court that her husband, Ayemisan, wanted to use
her for money ritual. According to her, the husband took her
pants to a herbalist in pursuit of the money ritual and also
joined a secret cult. Caroline said they got married 44 years
ago, and have seven grown up children. She said they lived in
harmony until some years ago when their relationship went
sour.

"He said he wanted to be rich at all costs. That is the reason
he joined a secret cult. He actually took my pants to a
herbalist in his attempt to get rich quick", the petitioner told
the court. In his defence, the husband said there was no
trouble between him and the wife until she joined a club of
bad friends and became uncontrollable. The respondent said
he was not ready for divorce and pledged to change his
character. The court president, Mr. Godwin Awosola, said the
court could not force Ayemisan on the wife and, while
adjourning the case, warned the couple to maintain peace.

"We lived together for five years without a child consequent
upon which Lanre abandoned me in his house.
At first, he started beating me. I reported him to his family
which intervened but the situation did not change," the

Photos: “Without my marriage to Toni Payne,I won’t be here today” - 9ice

It's no news that 9ice has gone back to study Law and is also
joining politics. In an interviewwith Punch, he said he had no
regrets about his marriage

"I don't. I have never regretted that marriage. I have so
many reasons. It is not only because of my son. Without that
marriage, I will not be here today. I see life from a different
perspective now. There are things that are inevitable. So,
many things are bound to happen in life and there is nothing
you can do about it. When such things happen, you have to
face it. You only have to manage it when it happens and from
there, you move ahead. If you don't move ahead from that
situation, you will never go to the next level."

And now that you are back, should these artistes be scared?

We are not on the same level. They are in the river and I
am in the ocean. Let them just do their thing. I am on a
different level. They are making money. That is nice. They
don't disturb me and I don't disturb them either.

ASUU Strike: ASUU in secret meeting, keeps mum

Kano – The leadership of the Academic Staff Union of
Universities, ASUU, National Executive Council, weekend,
met in Kano. The secret meeting,Vanguard gathered lasted
from Friday night to Saturday morning.

However, at the end of the meeting, lecturers were not
forthcoming with the outcome, which sources say was borne
out of the promise made to President Goodluck Jonathan by
the union to inform him of its decision before going public.
It was learnt that the NEC meeting which attracted 'fair
representation' from over 50 universities was held at
Mambayya House. Vanguard gathered lecturers were divided
on the issue of suspension of the over 5months strike.

The Universities lecturers were conveyed to the venue of the
secret meeting in two Coaster buses, secured by the union's
Kano chapter, in order to avoid the attention of the press and
public.

A competent source close to ASUU told Vanguard in Kano
that "we still have 40 – 60 percent situations here after the
meeting; the resolution from the north favours the call off
while their peers from the South strongly support the
continuation of the strike".

According to the source, "however , we were able to take a
middle course that would be pleasant to Nigerians, but that
will not be discussed now at the public domain until we meet
Mr. President in line with our last discussion".
Effort to reach Dr Nasiru Fagge, the national President of
ASUU was abortive as he failed to pick up calls.

PHOTOS; Nollywood Sexiest, Tonto Dikeh back on top as Biodun Okeowo, Frank Artus drop

The battle for the last 5 is as tricky as gunning for the ultimate crown. Sooner or later, many favourites would have to see the exit door, as painful as it is, it is an inevitability that cannot be avoided. It is the name of the game: there will be losers and winners.

Culled from Vanguard

Now, we have witnessed another dramatic week of surprises, intrigues and pure bravado. The set-up we had last week isn't what have shaped out this week. There has been a number of changes:

Tonto Dikeh: After having been shocked and stunned by Stephanie Okereke last week, the controversial actress and singer is back on top, fighting tooth and nail to claw her way back to the top.

Stephanie Okekere: She gain the first spot last week but overdone again by Tonto's bravado to reclaim her spot. She has only lost a few steps and stands on good ground to fight all the way.

Ebube Nwagbo: All attention is on Tonto and Stephanie, running the race neck to neck and nobody is watching how dangerously close Ebube is getting to the duo. She remains restive on 3rd but closer to the first two stronger than ever.

Yvonne Nelson: Yvonne still has her hand on the 4th spot but not without a challenge from Colette who is running wild at 5th. Here, is another duo that may be worth watching.

Colette Orji: Ever since Colette has been able to out-muscled Angela Okorie on the 5th spot she seems to have develop some sort of belief and she is pushing higher than ever.

Cynthia Agholor: I said Cynthia has remained in the game only because she has learnt to play the game with the ruthlessness it demands. This week, she was simply outstanding and too hot to handle as she leapfrogged two spots to jump to six.

Queeneth Hilbert: Just like Cynthia, Queeneth too has demonstrated some ruthlessness to remain in the game. The duo were very much at each other's throats this week, bundling their way into the next positions.

Angela Okoria: What could be said of Angela, a lacklustre outing in the last couple of weeks have seen her lots plummeted. Her fighting spirit seems to be all-time low.
Men

Yul Edochie: Even though Ramsey and Benson are doing the best they could, the guy continues to make them look like they aren't trying hard enough, or are they?

Ramsey Nouah: This top actor will need to do more than just sitting around, hoping the game will cheer him on. With more outing like he has been having the last couple of weeks, Benson might just be given the right of way he has been honking for.

Benson Okonkwo: Benson continues to push but the harder he pushes the more Uti seems to be enjoying the sight of him. He is still doing fine at third and probably having a look into second. With a couple of weeks to go, anything can happen.

Uti Nwachukwu: Uti has been asking questions for sometime now and right now he seems to be getting some answers. He took advantage of Pope's lacklustre week to upstage him and here he is on 4th and looking to do more damage.

Pope Odowondo: Pope was having a bit of a wrestle with Benson until Benson got other ideas, leaving Pope behind and now it seems it's not only Benson that will leave him, even Uti has his pound of flesh. He is 5th now.

Odunlade Adekola: It was a huge week for Odunlade Adekola who moved three places to clinch the 6th place, taking off Van Vicker, Ali Nuhu and Frank Artus. He has been blowing hot and cold too but this week was his hottest to date.

Mike Ezuruonye: For Mike, it has become a never ending story of eviction that never happened. He was the last man of the last ten yet he survived. Then he was the last ninth man expected to go out last week and again he didn't. Now he sits on 7th, stunning Frank, and Ali Nuhu

Ali Nuhu: Ali too is a specimen capable of anything. We have seen much of that in this quest to rule him out just yet.

Google Is Building a Chrome App-Based IDE

"Google's Chromium team never ceases to amaze. Its latest project is a Chrome app-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) codenamed Spark. For those who don't know, Chrome packaged apps are written in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, but launch outside the browser, work offline by default, and access certain APIs not available to Web apps. In other words, they're Google's way of pushing the limits of the Web as a platform."

Road Mishap Kills 30 In Benue

At least 30 persons have been reportedly killed in auto accidents across Benue state in the last three weeks, with over 100 persons injured.

Disclosing this yesterday, at the inauguration of the north
central zone chapter of the Federal Roads Committee on
Surveillance and Action Against Road Abuses,
FERCSARA, in Makurdi, Zonal Commander of the Federal
Road Safety Corps in charge of Zone 4, Assistant Corps
Marshall Yakubu Attah attributed most of the mishaps that
claimed innocent lives of motorists and commuters to "the
abuse of roads in the state through illegal construction of
speed bumps, cutting of major roads and making of bonfire
and erection of illegal checkpoints on the roads."

Speaking earlier, while inaugurating the committee, a
member of the Board of the Federal Roads Maintenance
Agency, FERMA, representing the north central zone, Hon.

Samuel Gwomna disclosed that the federal government
would soon set up mobile courts to try the culprits of road
abuses across the country.

According to Gwomna, "when established, the courts
would go a long way in checking activities that lead to
unwarranted road mishaps and loss of innocent lives across
the country.

While urging road users to strictly abide by the rules
governing the use of roads in the country, Gwomna said,
"those behind the erection of speed bumps, cutting of our
roads and the erection of illegal check points on roads
across the country should also desist or be prepared to face
the wrath of the law."

Also speaking, the north central zone chairman of
FERCSARA and zonal coordinator of FERMA, Mr.
Robinson Ibe said the inauguration of the committee was
timely stressing that it would help the government check
the abuses and deaths recorded on major highways in the
country.

"This committee will henceforth regularly traverse all
federal roads in the zone to ensure that our roads are no
longer abused in any form and by so doing check the
increasing road mishaps in the country," he said.

Photo: Female teacher, 41, jailed for having lesbian relationship with 14-year-old student

A teacher has been jailed for two years after a secret four-
year relationship with a 14-year-old female pupil.

Rachel Speed, 41, of Hengoed, Caerphilly County, denied
indecent assault and sexual activity while in a position of
trust but was found guilty.

Speed started a relationship after kissing the girl in a
stationery cupboard at Fairwater High School in
Cwmbran.

The relationship ended when the girl went to university.

The court heard the girl had "sleepovers" at Speed's house
several times a week.

Christopher Rees, prosecuting, said: "You abused her trust
while she was 14.

"You did not want her parents to know because then they
would know your sordid little secret.

"You were clearly obsessed with her – even when she
went to university."

Judge David Wynn Morgan had already warned Speed she
would be jailed.

In sentencing her, the judge said: "You were in a position
of trust in relation to the girl, you were her teacher.

"Teachers are not allowed to have sex with their pupils.
Everybody knows that.

"You were a mature person while she was an
impressionable and vulnerable child who was unpopular at
school.

"She was bound to respond to the attentions of a popular
teacher."

The court was told the girl was bullied at school and
Speed started texting her and sending online messages
before inviting her for a sleepover.

She would pick her up from the bus stop and drive her to
her home.
'Sick and angry'

When the girl's parents found out they made Speed sign a
contract in exchange for not going to the school or the
police.

Speed agreed she would end the relationship until she was
21 or after she finished full time education but she broke
her promise.

The girl's mother told the court: "I felt sick and angry. My
daughter was a child. How could she have her sleep over
at her house?"

Speed gave the girl an engagement ring and a car when
she went to university.

But the pupil broke off the relationship by text after she
met someone new.

The girl then reported Speed to police.

Peter Harding-Roberts, defending, said: "The situation
sprung from an initial act of kindness from the defendant.

"The relationship continued until the girl was 20, it was a
genuine loving relationship."

Speed, who has lost her job at the school, was placed on
the sexual offences register for 10 years and under a
sexual offences prevention order was ordered not to have
unsupervised contact with a child under 18.
She was also disqualified from ever applying or obtaining
work that brought her into contact with anyone under 18.

A spokesman for Torfaen council said: "We apologise for
the failure to protect this pupil during her time at the
school."

‘Suspend ASUU Strike For Iyayi’s Sake’ – Pro- Chancellor Of UNIBEN Begs Union

As the Academic Staff Union of Universities' NEC
meeting gets underway, the Pro-Chancellor and
Chairman of the Governing Board of the University of
Benin, Senator Bob Effiong, has appealed to the striking
lecturers to go back to classrooms as a last respect to the
late Professor Festus Iyayi who lost his life while
struggling for the course of the Union.

Iyayi, a former Head of Business Administration
Department of the University of Benin and former National
President of ASUU was killed in an auto crash while on his
way to attend ASUU National Executive Committee (NEC)
meeting in Kano.

Effiong had expressed that the death of Iyayi was painful as
he was unable to see to the end of what he was struggling
to resolve; a strike he said had lasted for more than four
months.

The Chairman had equally, in a condolence visit to Iyayi's
family yesterday called on the Union to institute an
academic foundation in honour of Iyayi for his
immeasurable contribution to the nation's education sector.
"…it is expedient at this point for both the federal
government and ASUU to come to an understanding in
honour of this great patriot," Effiong said.

The condolence message reads thus: "When we take into
cognizance his immense contributions to ASUU in its quest
to reposition Nigerian universities in the world and his role
as a teacher and scholar, we know that the academia has
lost a rare gem that would be difficult to replace.

"However, we want to console you to bear the loss with
fortitude, resting in the knowledge that Professor Iyayi gave
his life in the struggle to ensure a better and brighter future
for the Nigerian child in terms of sound education."

Full Details Of Peter Okoye’s And Lola Omotola Wedding! What Went Down On The Day

These were some of the major activities that happened at
Peter Okoye's traditional wedding which held on Sunday.
Peter Okoye didn't initially plan to dance, it was the MC
Gbenga Adeyinka who coerced him into doing so by paying
him N10,000.

According to report, when asked how much he was paid for
his first show, Peter answered Gbenga Adeyinka that he was
paid N7, 500. The comedian offered to pay Peter N10,000 for
him to dance, an offer Peter gladly obliged. After doing a few
moves, the rest of the crew (without Paul) joined Peter on
stage and danced to their hit song 'Personally'.

Also, Susan Peters was the 'famzer' of the day. If there was
any celebrity that took the most photos at the event, it was
probably Susan Peters. The actress was seen going round
smiling, hugging and making every effort to take a photo with
as many celebrities in the hall as she could. She (and Toke
Makinwa) practically supplied bloggers with many of the
photos on their Instagram pages.

Moving on to the guests, Aliko Dangote and Folorunsho
Alakija, the richest man and woman in Africa also showed up
at the wedding. While Alakija had arrived at the beginning of
the occasion and left about an hour later for another event on
the mainland, Dangote arrived just a few minutes past 9PM
when many of the top dignitaries had left. Abike Dabiri-
Erewa was also there to honour the couple.

You see, despite the presence of security personals both from
private security firms and men of the police force and armed
forces 'area boys' made their presence known as they rushed
to the car of well-known celebrities and hailed them. Funke
Akindele and Don Jazzy attracted the most attention. On his
part, Don jazzy threw some crispy naira notes at the area boys
which almost led to a stampede as they scrambled for the
cash.

Guests and journalists without their invitation cards were
bounced and one of those affected was Soni Irabor. Well, ace
broadcaster Sonny Irabor was almost refused entry into the
venue. Irabor was dropped off at the entrance of the venue by
his driver who then drove off to park. As he made to enter,
the stern looking security guards who obviously did not
recognize him refused him entry because he was without his
invitation card. It took about 20 minutes for Irabor's driver to
return with the invitation card.

And then twin brother Paul decided to sing a special wedding
song dedicated to his brother and his new wife Lola. Paul
invited a few members of their band who obviously were
familiar with the tune, for the special acapella rendition of the
song. After the song, Paul hugged Peter and said, 'I'm very
proud of you my brother, congratulations.'

In conclusion, the performances were nothing short of
exciting. Although there were many music celebrities who
attended the event, only a few got to mount the stage to
serenade the couple. Some of them were Flavour, KCEE,
Iyanya, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, J Martins, Phyno, M.I,
Lynxxx, Ice Prince and Naeto C.

75 Year Old Man Wants His Wife Divorce Because She Beats Him

A 75-year-old man, Fashola Fakorede, begged Igando
Customary Court, Lagos, to dissolve his marriage to his wife,
Funke, 49, over Funke beating him.

Fakorede told the court that his wife had turned him into a
punching bag and also inflict injuries over his body.
"My wife wants to kill me, she beats me every day. I don't
want to die now, save my life."

He claims his wife beats him if he asks for food or anything
and laments that she has made it a routine affair.

Fashola adds that his wife doesn't care about him any more,
noting that she can be absent for several days and if he queries
her, she will hit him with any dangerous weapon available.
"And my daughter is also taking her footstep. She brings
home different men and my wife will not query her. So, I sent
her away from my house," he said.

The man says he doesn't love her any more and wants a
divorce.

Funke, a trader, denied the allegations, saying she did not beat
her husband and always took good care of him and respected
him.

The mother of three, however, accused her husband of
denying his children the right to go to school.
She also added that her husband had disowned his daughter,
and urged the court not to grant his wish as she still loved
him.

The judge, Mr. R. I. Adeyeri, adjourned the case till
November 25 for further hearing.
