2 planes collide at Lagos Airport

Another aviation catastrophe was averted yesterday in
Lagos as a Turkish Airline aircraft reportedly collided with
a Max Air plane which was laden with Muslim pilgrims
returning from Saudi Arabia.
The incident occurred at the Murtala Mohammed
International Airport, which was recently the scene of the
fatal Associated Airlines crash.
According to scanty details available, the wing of the
Turkish Airline craft collided with that of the Max Air
plane when the former was attempting to taxi to a stop.
Leadership News reports:
The incident caused minor damages to both planes which
were immediately taken away for repairs.
Spokesman of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority
(NCAA), Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, confirmed the incident. He
described damages to the aircraft as minor
