Photos: Alicia Keys spare heads #bringbackourgirls campaign in New York

For 219 days and counting, 276 Chibok schoolgirls were kidnapped from their school in Borno State by boko haram militants. Less has been heard about there way about and it seems the Nigerian government is not doing their best yet to rescue the girls even though they said plans are on ground. If i may ask, for how long will this plan be drawn before the FG acts? 15 time Grammy award winner, Alicia Keys organized a protest in front of the Nigerian consulate in New York on Tuesday. She held a rally along with 30 women and raised awareness by holding several signs that read 'We Are Here To Bring Back Our Girls Now.' Clad in a black and white pullover, denim jeans and sported a black head wrap, the mother of one and other protesters chanted 'When do we want them?' Now! Now! Alive!

Alicia also pledged to donate $1million in support of the campaign

She was also joined by her husband, Swizz Beatz (seen at the back with a black face cap and shades)
