Crime: Landlady Abducts Former-Tenant’s Twins, Demands Ransom

Landlady has repaid her former tenants' love in a strange and
painful manner, she abducted their twins.
The police at Abayi Division, Abia State, are holding a
woman identified simply as Chioma for allegedly abducting
the twin boys of her ex-tenants Mr. and Mrs. Okwudili
Nwaeze.
It was gathered that Chioma visited her former tenants' home
to, according to sources, exchange pleasantries with them."
Mrs. Nwaeze, who was on her way to the bathroom,
apparently uncomfortable with the visitor, changed her mind
and waited until she (Chioma) left the compound.
Mrs. Nwaeze was said to have gone back to the bathroom,
leaving her twins (James and John) inside their room,
unknown to her that her ex-land lady was still in the
compound.
A source close to the Nwaeze family said: "When she finally
returned to their room, the twin babies (James and John) had
disappeared. It was at this point that she started to raise alarm.
In agony, she began a desperate search for her babies.
Neighbours who had seen Chioma carry the babies told Mrs
Nwaeze that her ex-tenant had the babies.
An Afor Ule market trader, Abayi Aba, said nobody suspected
that Chioma abducted the babies beacuse she had lived with
the children's parents before the incident.
She said Chioma, on getting to Afor Ule junction, flagged
down a commercial tricycle driver, who took her and the kids
away.
An unconfirmed report said Chioma had, at the initial contact
with the children's family, demanded a ransom of about
N10million, which the family told her they did not have.
On how the ex-tenant was apprehended by the police, sources
said she was caught by some people selling wares at the Afor
Ule market. They spotted her while she was attempting to
drop the children on the main road.
They took her to the Abayi Divisional police station where the
Nwaezes had reported that their children were missing.
When contacted, the Abia State Police PPRO, Geoffrey
Ogbonna, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
But, a police source at the Abayi Police Division confirmed
the incident, adding that the police were still investigating the
matter.

Son Of Jackie Chan's Will Get None Of His $130 Million Fortune

Being the only son of international movie star Jackie Chan
clearly comes with many privileges and advantages. Jackie
Chan's only child, a 30 year old son named Jaycee, lived a life
filled with opulent mansions, luxurious vacations, expensive
cars, the best education and much more.
Jaycee was even been able to launch his very own singing and
acting career thanks to his famous father. But there is one
important thing that Jaycee will not receive from his father.
Jackie Chan recently announced that upon his death, he will
donate 100% of his $130 million fortune to charity and that
his son Jaycee will be left out entirely…
While accepting an award in Beijing, Jackie was asked if
Jaycee will inherit his massive fortune some day. Jackie stated
that he was originally intending to donate half of his wealth to
charity and leaving his family the other half but recently
changed his will to leave 100% for charitable causes
throughout the world.
The elder Chan explained: "If he is capable, he can make his
own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my
money."
Jackie also expressed regret for not sending Jaycee to the
army where his son would have received "life experience and
character."
If Jaycee wants to continue living an extravagant lifestyle, his
career is going to need a boost. Since 2004 Jaycee has
appeared in around 20 films, most of which have been major
flops.
Jaycee's 2012 movie "Double Trouble" became one of the
biggest box office failures in history grossing just $9000 at
the box office, despite heavy marketing and promotion. He
also starred alongside his father in 2010′s "1911″ which
became Jackie's worst performing movie ever.
Jackie is not the only celebrity who plans on giving their
fortune to charity instead of their children. Warren Buffett,
Bill Gates and Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar are some of the
more notable billionaires who have pledged their entire
fortunes to charity.
Buffett is an especially staunch opponent of what he calls
"dynastic wealth" (wealth that is so vast it creates generational
dynasties).
Buffett refers to anyone who grew up wealthy as a "member
of the lucky sperm club" and, like Jackie Chan, firmly
believes that if his children work hard enough they can
achieve great success the same way he did.

Pop singer Seun Oni better known Saeon has caused a
mini-uproar on Twitter attacking two music artistes in
Nigeria – Victoria Kimani and Blackmagic.

First off, she called Kenyan artiste Victoria Kimani's
recently released mixtape 'a fail'. Mentioning the
Chocolate City artiste on Twitter, Saeon said
'@Victoria_Kimani. My last tweet goes to you. I wanna
say I respect you as an artist. But I can't tell such a lie.
Your mixtape = Fail!!!'.

Saeon went on to ask 'How can you be a signed artist and
churn out such trash? Then they let you release these?'.
Responding to a Twitter user who thought she had gone
overboard with the tweets, she said 'so cos I'm an artist I
shouldn't have an opinion about another artist's work?
Especially when it's crap? LOL'.

Kimani who has made Nigeria her second home since
signing with Chocolate City in November 2012, dropped a
number of singles and then released her 'Queen Victoria'
mixtape a few weeks ago. It was met with average reviews
from music critics.

No word from Kimani or her camp but the Pop singer
seems to be ignoring Saeon's 'diss' and has been retweeting
the link to her mixtape and Channel O Awards 2013
nomination.

Meanwhile, Saeon has revealed that she 'wrote the best
part' of rapper Blackmagic's hit tune 'Repete'. Arguably
his biggest record yet, Repete was released in November
2012 with a video premiered in May 2013.

Saeon says she had worked on a previous song titled
'Foreigner' which was released on the rapper's debut album
'Blackmagic Version 1.0' and that he wanted her to record
a longer version because he wanted to shoot a video for it.
She called him a 'black goat' too…

Her tweets below…

'Repete was the last straw!!! Lol, after spending hours in
the studio with that one, who by the way used the sessions
as a front to get me to write a longer verse for foreigner that
I'd done a feature on, (of which I murked the mufucka on
his own track), claiming he wanted to shoot a video for it. I
wrote the best part of what y'all now know as Repete. Even
voiced it sef. Next thing I know, he's out claiming full
props denying that I wrote his hook, saying he writes all his
songs. Bullshit! And that is why some people never move
forward!! Lol I can't even blame the black goat no more.
But after all that you now think I should work with a
mufucka? WHERE TF DO THE DO THAT AT???', Saeon
narrated on her Twitter.

Blackmagic also hasn't responded but his rep, Osagie
Osarenkhoe of M.et.al Management says Blackmagic and
Saeon will settle it out.

ASUU Will Faces Grave Consequences For Rejecting Government’s Recent Proposal

After getting an annual payment offer of N220 billion for the
next five years, from the federal government, following a
marathon meeting that ended Tuesday, indications have
emerged that the Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU) may lose the sympathy of many and may make the
government wield the big stick if it rejects the recent offer by
the government, with a full blown implementation of the 'no
work, no pay' policy likely to break the ranks of the union
and cause disaffection among the members who would feel
the pinch of their salaries being withheld.
The union had however, insisted that it wanted N350 billion
in 2014 and N400 billion annually for the next four years.
A labour leader who was privy to the details of the meeting
between President Goodluck Jonathan and the National
Executives of ASUU told Thisday yesterday it would be in the
best interest of the union to accept the proposal.
"Once you meet the president of a country, where else do you
want to go? Who else do you want to meet with? The
leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade
Union Congress (TUC) were present at that meeting. If we
cannot find an exit, then we are in serious trouble.
"You cannot leave a strike open-ended, it will backfire
seriously. If the government had started the 'no work, no pay'
policy as soon as it was obvious that ASUU was bent on
prolonging the strike, the strike would have been over by
now. It would have broken the ranks of the members," the
source said.
The source added that although labour leaders are of the
opinion that the government holds the major part of the blame
for the strike, they (labour leaders) also think that ASUU has
overdone it.
"If after all these, ASUU remains adamant, then it would be
obvious that they have a political agenda. It may also be an
ego thing for ASUU NEC who realise that ASUU has been
known to be a union that strives on holding governments to
ransom," the source added.
The meeting of ASUU's NEC will hold in the next
one week.

Jennifer Lopez has never had plastic surgery

The 'Dance Again' hitmaker has hit back after a British
plastic surgeon, Ayham Al-Ayoubi, suggested she 'showed
many signs' of having work done to her face. The 44-year-
old star was clearly unimpressed with his medical opinion
and tweeted: '@DrAyoubi Sorry Sir, but I have never had
plastic surgery of any kind. #fact'
The actress responded to the plastic surgeon, who is based
in London, after he tweeted a split-screen photographs of
her and wrote: 'These before and after pics of @JLo show
many signs of #plasticsurgery – naturally pretty but now
looks amazing.'
He later added: 'U are naturally a very beautiful woman
and look great, sometimes clever makeup can enhance
features slightly changing their appearance @JLo' But
following Jennifer and her fans' reaction, the medic
claimed his assistant was responsible for the tweets.
He wrote on Tuesday November 5, 2013: 'Dear @JLo I
wonder if you can accept my sincere apologies about the
wrong tweet which was written by my assistant without my
knowledge…. 'I sincerely apologise to @JLo and her fans.
I want to remind everyone it was NOT me who sent that
wrong tweet! it was my assistant. (sic)'
The 'American Idol' judge recently revealed that she
learnt to stand up for herself from an early age as she was
criticised for her appearance and curvy figure early in her
career. She said: 'You have to stand up and say, 'There's
nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am; you're
the one with the problem!' And when you can really
believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing
too.'

(Photo) He stole Pasuma’s Range Rover Sport and sold it for N950,000 - Robber

Kasali Adegoke, the leader of the armed robbery gang that
robbed popular fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi aka Pasuma, of his
2006 Range Rover Sport, says he sold the vehicle for
N950,000.
A search on the Internet by our correspondent, however,
suggested that used version of the vehicle sells for N3.5m,
while a new one costs between N8m and N9m.
The 32-year-old, who is currently in detention at the Special
Anti Robbery Squad, Ogun State, said he sold the car to a
receiver at Cotonou.
He said, "I have a receiver at Cotonou who usually calls to
place orders for any type of vehicle that he wants. Before we
stole Pasuma's car, my buyer had already told me that he
wanted a Range Rover Sport. We were just on the lookout for
possible victims when we noticed Pasuma's car."
Although based in Ogun State, Adegoke said he usually
comes to Lagos to steal choice vehicles.
On the night Pasuma was robbed, Adegoke said he was
merely roaming the Ahamddiya area of Lagos along with
some members of his gang when the musician was sighted.
NE had earlier reported that a nine-man gang attacked the fuji
artiste around 9pm, while he was on his way to a show few
months ago.
Pasuma, who was dispossessed of other valuables in addition
to his car, was said to have hidden his face from the robbers
while the ordeal lasted. He was dumped in a bush near Ota,
Ogun State after being stripped down to his underwear.
Pasuma and his Range Rover SUV
Adegoke said, "While he was with us, we had no idea that he
was Pasuma. We did not recognise him. It was the next day
that we realised that it was Pasuma car we snatched the
previous night when the news was all over town.
"By that time, the car was already in Cotonou. We drove it
that same night to a border town in Ogun State where one of
the receiver's boys was waiting to drive it back to Cotonu. We
were paid N950,000."
Despite a deformed left hand, Adegoke confessed to having
killed over seven policemen during his six-year career as a
robber.
The police added that his eight man gang had killed over 20
people.
"I was badly burned as a baby; I was just 13 days old when
someone threw a burning material through the window on my
bed. By the time I was rescued, the left side of my face and
my left hand were badly burned.
"Despite the handicap, I was able to master the art of shooting
with an assault rifle. I would rest the gun on the ground while
I loaded it and would support it with my deformed hand while
I shot," he said.
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police Mr. IKemefuna
Okoye, had last Monday, paraded Adegoke along with three
other suspects in Abeokuta.
Led by the SARS Officer-in-Charge, Mohammed Tijani,
Adegoke was reportedly arrested in the Obele area, a border
town between Nigeria and Benin Republic. He was said to
have been critically injured in a shoot out with the police.
Adegoke reportedly led the SARS team to arrest other
members of his gang at their hideout in the Iju-Ishaga area of
Lagos State.
Okoye had said that the gang members had confessed to
killing the former South West Coordinator and Ogun State
Commander of the Vehicle Inspection Officer, Mr. Yomi
Bamgbose, in 2011, as well as the killing of five policemen
attached to the Quick Response Squad at the Ijemo Agbadu
and Mowe/Ibafo areas one year ago.
The gang was also said to have allegedly killed about 11
policemen in Kwara and Lagos states and were responsible for
the death of five policemen in the Imeko area of Ogun State,
in a bullion van attack in September 2011.
They were also said to be responsible for the killing of four
members of the Ogun State Vigilance Service and three filling
station attendants in Ifo last June

In an interview with Niaje, the Kenyan rapper happily
confirmed that his girlfriend is seven-months pregnant and
this will be his first child. However, Rabbit concealed the
young lady's name.

Sage, the rapper debunked the claims maintaining that they
are just 'tight friends'. Rabbit had earlier been accused of
breaking up with Sage over infidelity reasons.
Born Kennedy Ombima, the 26-year-old released his 17-

still stands as one of the best hip-hop albums in Kenya with

'Before the success' with leading Kenyan producer
Kanyeria.

Too Bad: A Man Was Arrested With Charms Inside RCCG Church

A man, Ali Haruna, 25, a native of Kano State, northwest
Nigeria, has been arrested by the police at the Maroko
Police Division, Lekki, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, for
allegedly entering the Redeemed Christian Church of God,
City of David, situated on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria
Island, Lagos with charms strapped to his waist.
He was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate court on one
count charge of illegally entering a church with charms.
The police alleged that the accused was arrested following a
complaint by members of the Redeemed Christian Church of
God, City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos, that they found
the accused inside their church on 31 March, 2013 with
charms.
During interrogation, he allegedly told the police that he
entered the church to pray to God. But when asked what he
was doing with the charms he strapped to his waist, he could
not give satisfactory answer nor explain how long he has been
worshiping in the church since he claimed he was a Muslim.
The church members suspected him to have entered the
church to perpetrate evil.
After investigation by Corporal Sekinat Akinbola, he was
charged to court.
The offence is contrary to and punishable under section
133(b) of the criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge, and Magistrate
Mrs. Ope Agbe admitted him on bail in the sum of N200,000
with one surety with proof of tax payment to the Lagos State
government.
She adjourned the matter till 29 April, 2013 for mention.
The defendant was, however, moved to Ikoyi prison pending
when he would fulfil the bail conditions.

Robbers kill 2 policemen, 4 others in Lagos bank raid

It was a bloody Tuesday at the Alaba International
Market, Ojo, Lagos, when a gang of heavily robbers attacked
staff of new generation bank who were transferring money
from a branch of the bank to another, killing two policemen
and four others in the process.
Vanguard gathered that several other passerby sustained
injuries during the escape bid of the bandits who snatched a
large sum of money from the bank staff.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told Vanguard that the
bandits positioned themselves at a strategic location in the
market and opened fire on sighting them, killing the
policemen and a yet to be identified woman on the spot before
snatching the money.
The bandits were also said to have shot indiscriminately in a
bid to escape which led to the death of three other persons
whose identities are yet to be ascertained.
When Vanguard visited the market, most of the traders were
seen in clusters talking about the incident.
Some of them blamed the bank for not providing enough
security while making huge cash transfer, while others called
on the police authorities to track down the hoodlums.
Sources told Vanguard that police had commenced
investigation into the incident, saying some officials of the
bank have been arrested.

Oyinlola’s reinstatement: PDP goes to Supreme Court

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it will
proceed to the Supreme Court to challenge Wednesday's
Appeal Court's reinstatement of former Osun governor,
Olagunsoye Oyinlola, as its National Secretary.
The Deputy National Publicicty Secretary of the party, Alhaji
Abdullahi Jalo, disclosed this to newsmen in Gombe, on
Friday.
Jalo said that a legal team of the party was already preparing
papers to appeal the judgement, adding that Oyinlola would
not be sworn-in.
"Now, we are going to apply for a stay of execution. Oyinlola
should not be allowed to even go close to Wadata Plaza, the
national secretariat of the party.
"He cannot go there; we are appealing against the decision,"
he said.
He, however, added that "we respect what the judiciary has
done and it is an act of courage, and whoever is the Judge that
did it, he did it within the premise of the law and we have
taken it in good faith.
"But we are appealing against the decision of the court and
this is the decision of PDP".
On claims by the Alhaji Kawu Baraje-faction of the party that
it has taken over Gombe state, Jalo dismissed it, saying it was
contemptuous, because there was a court judgement nullifying
the new PDP.
He said the National Publicity Secretary of the faction, Chief
Chukwuemeka Eze, who was credited with the claim, was
neither in Gombe nor knew Gombe and was therefore not
qualified to make statements on the state.
"When somebody makes this kind of statement, even a
layman will know that it is contemptuous.
"The law enforcement agencies should have even arrested
them because it is a flagrant abuse of court process.
"There is a valid court judgment which has not been appealed
against and it is a substantive judgment," he said.
Jalo also decried claim by former governor of Gombe state,
Sen. Danjuma Goje, that, he was the leader of PDP in the
state, saying that he (Goje) ought not to have made such
statement.
According to him, as an ex-governor, Goje knows that the
incumbent governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwambo, is the
leader of the party in the state.
He said he would lodge a formal complaint to the party on the
conduct of the former governor.

(Photo) 'How She caught 2 actresses having sex'

In a recent interview with Vanguard, married Yoruba actress
Bose Arowosegbe exposed lesbianism in the movie industry
by talking about the day two of her female colleagues had sex
in a bed she shared with them. Kinda bizarre. Read below...
I have heard about it and I have seen one with my own
very eyes. It happened when two friends came to visit,
then three of us had to share a bed. As we were on the bed
with my back turned to the other two, I felt some
movements and I turned, alas, the two other girls were at
it, doing it. I was simply aghast and dumbfounded. I
watched them transfixed for about two minutes and then
gave one of them a slap. She looked at me and asked if
she had touched me or what. I was so mad that I started
shouting at them.
The other one was just laying down while the one I
slapped was working on her. she said she didn't know and
thought I was also part of it but I shouted 'God forbid'.
She then started crying and I told her to desist from
associating with the other girl again.

PDP peace moves hit a dead end

The peace talks between President Goodluck Jonathan and the
seven Peoples Democratic Party governors appear to have
collapsed, investigation by The PUNCH on Thursday, has
revealed.
The PUNCH learnt of this just as one of the rebel
governors, Dr. Rabiu Kwakwanso of Kano State, said
their romance with the All Progressives Congress, was an
indication that they were on their way to the APC.
At the last peace meeting between Jonathan, the aggrieved
governors and the leadership of the New Peoples Democratic
Party on October 7, further deliberations were adjourned
with an understanding that they would resume after the
Muslim and Christian pilgrimages.
Jonathan returned from Israel nine days ago and since then
there has been no indication that the talks between him and
the aggrieved governors would continue.
A reliable Presidency source said in Abuja on Thursday
that the President might no longer be favourably disposed to
further discussions with the G-7 governors and other members
of the New PDP.
The source said the best the President could do was to ask
Vice-President Namadi Sambo to continue with the
discussions on his behalf.
He said the way the governors had been openly romancing
with the APC had convinced the President that their hearts
were no longer in the PDP.
The source added that rather than wasting his time on those
who had made up their minds to weaken the PDP before
leaving it, the President and his team would henceforth
concentrate on mobilising members whose hearts and souls
remained in the party.
He said, "I can tell you authoritatively that the battle line has
been drawn with them (the aggrieved governors).
"They (the governors) have crossed the line. President
Jonathan will no longer meet with them.
"To give a semblance of listening to them, the President
will ask the Vice-President to meet with them(rebel
governors). But the President will not do that again.
"There is nothing new that they can bring again. It is clear
with their romance with the leaders of the APC that their
hearts are no longer in the PDP.
"It is also clear that what they want to do is to weaken the
party before they will finally leave.
"Rather than wasting time on them, we will now concentrate
on mobilising members whose hearts are still in the party. The
truth is that we can no longer trust them."
Kwakwanso had at a dinner organised by the Progressive
Governors' Forum in Abuja on Wednesday, said the
rebel governors' romance with APC was an indication
that they were no longer interested in remaining in the PDP.
Kwakwanso, represented by his Special Adviser on Sports,
Mr. Ahmed Gara, noted that the rebel governors, who are
the linchpin of the New PDP, were happy to be associated
with the APC.
He said, "We are happy to be associated with the APC. We
are still consulting concerning the invitation sent to us by the
party to defect.
"In fact, our coming here shows that we are on our way to the
APC. But as soon as we are done with the consultations, we
would let the world know."
Apart from the Kano State governor, others in the G-7 are
Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers); Babangida Aliyu (Niger); Sule
Lamido (Jigawa); Murtala Nyako (Adamawa); Abdulfatah
Ahmed (Kwara); and Aliyu Wammako (Sokoto).
At the event, one of the APC leaders and a former Governor
of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, described the seven
aggrieved PDP governors as "beautiful brides."
He asked them and others he referred to as progressives, to
join hands in order to prevent rigging of elections in 2015.
Buhari, who is also a prominent APC leader, had broken his
silence on the proposed national conference, saying it was
conceived by the PDP-led Federal Government to cover up
its many inadequacies.

tyre or loss of control.
Meanwhile, the Edo State Police Command, on Thursday,
