Already, the 10 families to compete for the grand prize and bragging rights as the best dance family in the country have all emerged after series of regional screenings.
Delectable TV personality, Osas Ighodaro will the host of this year's edition and for the first time since the show began eight years ago, there would be a co-host in the person of Segun Ogundipe, while the judges for the show have been announced as including Jeffery Page, Muyiwa Osinaike and Comfort Fedoke.
The lucky families contesting this year include the Nwaeze family residing in Mowe part of Ogun State, the Unanka family resident in Asokoro, Abuja; the Oladapo family from Lagos, the Dide family from Port-Harcourt, the Uzodinma family from Port-Harcourt, the Williams family from Bayelsa State, the Utene family, the Leonard family, the Odigie family and the Maisamari family from Plateau state.
The Briggs family from Port Harcourt are the current holders of the title of 'Nigeria's Number One Dancing Family' with a grand price of 6million naira and a brand new car after emerging champions of the 7th edition, which held at Eko Hotels, Lagos in 2013.
