‘Go and die!’ Adams Oshiomole impounds widow’s goods

Adams Oshiomole is the news for the wrongs reasons
again, weeks after he was accused of spending Government
funds on Big Brother 2013 winner Dillish Matthews.
During a recent sanitation exercise in Benin City, Edo
State, a woman's goods were seized by State officials led
by the Governor himself Adams Oshiomole. The woman
who claims to be a widow is seen in a video recording to be
begging the Governor to pardon her as she knows it is
illegal to sell during sanitation. Oshiomole, a former
National Labour Congress president tells her 'you're a
widow, go and die!'.

'My husband na Police before him die', the woman tells the
Governor as she continues to cry bitterly. Her goods are
taken away from her and thrown into the trucks. Oshiomole
then walks away as lawmaker and chief of staff to the
Governor, Patrick Obahiagbon watches on.
Social media has erupted as usual with many youths
berating the Governor for his 'lack of sympathy' for the
widow.

A few comments on Twitter:

Is Oshiomole auditioning for a dictator role?

'The poor widow who Oshiomole told to 'Go and Die'
might just be one of those voters who cast their ballots for
the 'Comrade Governor'', @EmmaUgwuTheMan
'On every ground,whether as a human,governor or
man,Oshiomole erred with his statement. He should be
begging to still keep his job', Iamfotography18
'Oshiomole reminds me of Fidel Castro. Oshiomole came
into governance with good intentions, Power corrupted him.

He became a dictator.' rapper Cyrus Tha Virus wrote.

'Our nation is the headquarter of absurdity. Someone
looked at a helpless widow in the face and said 'Go and
die'.Oshiomole this is heartless', @Adekoyabee
'Adam Oshiomole's face isn't the only sub par thing on/in
him. Obviously, his heart is worse', @deolaaa wrote.
And the comments are still coming with almost everyone
asking for the Governor's head.

There has been no statements released from the Office of
the Edo State Governor so far but there are strong
indications that Oshiomole and his team will be looking at
reducing the 'damage' he's caused for himself.
