#BringBackOurGirls: Japan to send it’s forces only if… – Makihara

ABUJA – Japan Parliamentary  Vice Minister for Environmentor His Excellency Mr Hideki Makihara, at the weekend assured the Nigerian government of its support in the fight against terrorism in the country, saying  its government will sent its civil defense forces in Nigeria only if United Nation is involve in activities  in the country.

Mr Makihara made this known while briefing the press of the progress on Japan-Nigeria Africa Relations at the just concluded World Economic Forum held in Abuja.

"I believe we will be able to co operate with the United Nations with its activities but without the United Nations decision it is difficult for us to send our civil defence army and we have never sent our police to other countries".

Police is just for national security that is our restriction under the constitution but maybe it will be possible for us to send the technologies or machines.

"Three weeks ago I had the chance to discuss this
matter with authorities in Nigeria which I was asked what the most important issue in the security related issue, so there are ongoing discussions and they are going to provide us with the project to commence which we are going to examine and decide which project we are going to give the most priority
Speaking on the epileptic power supply in the country, Mr Makihara urged the federal Government to introduce a waste management system that can general more energy.

According to him, "in Africa waste management system is so far not good but if you introduce a nice waste management system, you can also get energy from the waste".
